Anyone would first need to demonstrate discernment as well as a love and care for souls before I could consider any assessment of theirs.

That's not how discipleship works. Repentance comes first...or at least an open mind. Otherwise we are dealing with the part of a person that needs to go to the cross. The cross is an execution device. How can that be seen as caring for one's soul? And yet, once a person experiences the cross the inner man becomes free and is no longer in a place of condemnation. But people want the guarantees of eternal life without the cross.

My love and care for souls is in my effort to make clear the way forward...to see initial grace as a sample...not to be puffed up about or become religiously certain ...but to be willing to pay the price to have it in full measure. How many times have I cited the parable of the kingdom as the pearl of great price. How can one know the value of it before purchasing the field? That is by having a sample of it.
So far I've only seen demonstrated a lack of both unfortunately......over and over and over again.
I am only responding to what I'm given. Give me uncrucified outer man justifications..and get correction...every time. This is not about appealing to the flesh as so many ministers do. I'm not doing this as a popularity thing. I know how the flesh works. You have to break from your carnal ways to see what I'm saying...and value it.

A wise man loves to be corrected. A fool despises such...wanting only to be encouraged to keep doing the same thing.

I'm dealing with unbelief mainly. How did Jesus treat those who thought they could see but were blind? It one thing to sit in a boat and discuss things, but quite another when the boat is tipped so far over to one side that there is no place to sit.
You're not Jesus and no need to take the place of the Holy Spirit-and you are no teacher.

How does a person with a conservative bent climb out of the ditch of iniquity?

The only way to steer a balanced course that keeps on the level...on the path that leads to life...is by faith. Not religious certainty. Not dogmatic beliefs.

Why faith?

Faith believes that God's way is the only way. A person who actually believes that, looks to God...not relying on a dogmatic appraisal of the bible. Such dogmatic ways are for Pharisees.

Unless your faith exceeds that of the Pharisees....this means you don't rely on your own bible interpretation. The status quo of that time followed the accepted interpretation of that time, just like dogmatic people follow the status quo of this time. People are always the same. And God doesn't change. That's why we can learn from the mistakes of others. The bible is useful as a warning from following our own understanding....or what has been indoctrinated into the majority.

After we have passed the test of carnality into wisdom, the bible helps us with growth IN Christ. Otherwise a person will receive the lessons on the wrong level and be puffed up in the outer man.

So you keep justifying yourself. Yes, repentance is needed..............and love never fails.

Here's something that Oswald Chambers wrote.....haven't picked up that little book in at least three or four years, and funny that I happened to read this just today:

<<Unless the worker lives a life hidden with Christ in God, he is apt to becoming an irritating dictator instead of an indwelling disciple. Many of us are dictators, we dictate to people and to meetings. Jesus never dictates to us in that way. Whenever our Lord talked about discipleship, He always prefaced it with an "IF", never with an emphatic assertion "You must." Discipleship carries an option with it.>>

Jesus draws us chiefly with His love and is seeking a freewill offering, not under compulsion. I don't get any sense that He tries to force things down our throats, especially before someone may be ready for them. "I have more things to say to you but you cannot bear them now."

The scrutiny we give other people should be for ourselves.

Why do you keep insisting that everyone is a "namer and claimer"?
This is indeed the question. The answer suggests itself, as this is a practical overgeneralization. He accuses those of whom he has no personal knowledge, and applies this to most everyone. In most settings this would be considered trolling.

Much love!

You and others here are in a trap already. A two-dimensional religious trap that misuses the bible and misquotes the Lord and His apostles...to create a scheme that is based on a lie. You deny one verse to try supporting another...which you have misunderstood. And this happens because your starting point is your own self-justification...not the truth. Whatever you feel doesn't give you an instant religious self-gratification...you reject. So then you can't be instructed. You can only rail at whatever is reducing you from your own lofty ideas about yourself. No humility...no fear of the Lord. And you will say that these are just words I have cleverly taken from the bible that have SOME truth to them. But you are so far off the mark that the very distant sound of the truth has no effect on your inflated religious ego.

Instead of grandstanding and posturing...why not actually use that mind of yours for something other than self-justification. Engage the text. Engage the words from God.

You troll my threads to muddy the water and to get more attention for yourself. And other pretenders will respond...as they have been conditioned to do by the outer man ego. But all you do is further expose your dire need to be crucified and liberated from the worse condition you find yourself in.

Learn to be honest. Learn humility. Learn righteousness. Learn to read. Learn about grace. Learn to fear the Lord.

You have A LOT to learn. So get at it. I'm here to help you out of the mud when you are ready. And that goes for other wallowers here as well. :)
You the one in a trap who preaches another gospel epi .
So long as you do that you are in deadly danger as well as a danger to others .
Time to cease this madness epi .
Rather odd you want me to learn righteousness and yet
seem to omit the belief part IN HE WHO MAKES ONE RIGHTEOUS .
Epi there is one stuck in the mud all right .
You saying your here to help me out of the mud
is like a man stuck in a mud pit up to his neck
and another man walks by him
and the man stuck in the mud says , HERE LET ME HELP you OUT of the mud .
EPI . you in a mud pit full of mire my friend and well that doctrine and gospel wont save .
TIME to REMIND all that draws breath of the DIRE and absolute dire need to BELIEVE ON JESUS the CHRIST
and to teach ALL THINGS He said epi . Not just inclusive twisted versions of said words .
Learn humility you say . ITS NOT ME OMITTING THE DIRE NEED to FIRST BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST epi .
You might wanna eat some humble pie yourself my friend .

He preaches contrary to the original gospel my friend . THUS that alone is proof the SPIRIT is not at work
THE SPIRIT would TESTIFY OF JESUS THE CHRIST
not some other mindset that omits the fact one must first BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST
but rather tries to teach concepts about a cross , HE KNOWS nothing about .
Its naught but a deceptoin in that one my friend . He who brings NOT this gospel .......................
yeah , thus its why i often warn against this man my friend . This is a deadly serious matter .
VERY DEADLY .
I seen it in other forms too my friend . its in the inclusion mindset .
OH its a deadly one too it is . It denies one must BELEIVE JESUS IS THE CHRIST . and thus
what kind of gospel would do that
THIS kind of gospel , WHO is a liar but he who denies that JESUS is the CHRIST , he is anti christ .
THIS LAMB wont be heeding that other so called gospel . CAUSE , well IT AINT NO GOSPEL .

I can see how strongly you feel about this, and I appreciate your passion for the true gospel of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to stay grounded in what Scripture teaches, especially when it comes to the essentials of our faith, like believing in Jesus as the Christ. 1 John 4:1 reminds us to 'test the spirits to see whether they are from God' because many false prophets have gone out into the world. However, it's also important that we approach these conversations with grace and discernment, being careful to 'speak the truth in love' as Ephesians 4:15 encourages us to do.

I agree that the gospel should never be compromised, and any teaching that deviates from the truth of Christ is dangerous. At the same time, we should ensure that our discussions build others up and help them grow in their understanding of the faith. Let’s continue to focus on proclaiming the true gospel, where Christ crucified and risen is central, and encourage others to hold fast to that truth with us.
Love you brother.

too many folks are starting preach THEIR NAME and THEM CRUCIFIED .
Rather than CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED .
Too many be trying to teach certain concepts that Christ and later the apostels taught
BUT DO SO under the guise it aint necessary to First BELIEVE ON SAID JESUS THE CHRIST .
That amounts to , Going about to seek ones own righteousness APART from faith . AND that didnt bode
too well for the jews now did it . NOR will it for any other .
ITS an absolute dire NEED that we KEEP the DIRE REMINDER about HOW DIRE IT TRULY IS for folks
to BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST and all things HE taught , as well as the apostels
as well as all biblical inspired words .
TOO MANY are now falling for a ruse my friend .
And though its often taught differently
THEY ALL have one thing in common . OH YOU DONT HAVE TO BELEIVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
Sounds like the DEVIL has many trapped in a BIG OL LIE .
They rejected the love of the truth whereby they could have been saved , THUS a strong delusion
to believe a lie ..............
AND I SEE that delusion ALL OVER this earth and within a lot of even christendom now
OH its getting sold as love and as loving and as though its of GOD and THE SPIRIT .
BUT THE FATHER TESTIED OF and TESTIFIES OF THE SON , not some beleive as thou wilt but dont forget to love your neighbor stuff .
THE SPIRIT itself , TESTIFIES OF JESUS THE CHRIST .
And he who recieves not , believes not , the testimony that GOD gave of HIS SON
CALLETH GOD A LIAR . Not looking good these days my friend .
ALL liars shall have their part in the lake of fire
AND IF ONE IS CALLING GOD A LIAR , Who you think is the liar , NOT GOD , ITS THEM .
DENYING JESUS THE CHRIST IS A VERY SERIOUS OFFENCE and it is an offence that DAMNS the soul to perditon .
YET i see a lot trying to make a way around THE FACT ONE MUST BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
But do you really THINK GOD WOULD DO THAT
OR THE SPIRIT WOULD DO THAT .

Or is it he who desires to be AS GOD who is working this lie
unto the churches and the world , in order to have them all damned along with it . OH ITS SATAN all right .

We gonna give this church age the adam and eve test and see .
We gonna see who is believing who .
What did GOD tell adam and eve . Do not eat of the tree in the midst of the garden
for in the day ye eat thereof ye shall surely die .
Satan came along and said nay ye shall not surely die .
EVE BELIEVED THE WRONG ONE pardner .
YET i seems to see the CHURCH now doing as did eve and did adam .
You see JESUS said , He who believes not will be damned
Today many say Nay , nay ye shall not be damned for GOD Is love
WHICH ONE YA THINK I AM GONNA BELIEVE . A hint . GOD , AND IF JESUS SAID , BY GOLLY I PROMISE GOD DID

I totally hear where you're coming from, and it’s so important that we stay focused on the true gospel of Jesus Christ. You're right—there’s no other foundation that can be laid except Christ and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 3:11). Anything that strays from this central truth is dangerous ground. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me,’ and that’s a truth we can never compromise on.

It’s concerning when people start to emphasize their own ideas or even themselves over the message of Christ. Paul warned about this in Galatians 1:8 when he said, ‘But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.’ The message is clear: we must stick to the gospel of Christ, not a distorted version that diminishes His role.

You're also spot on about the danger of trying to establish righteousness apart from faith. Romans 10:3 says, ‘For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.’ Just as the Jews of old missed the mark by trying to earn righteousness through the law, anyone today who tries to bypass faith in Jesus is making the same mistake. We need to remember that it's only through faith in Christ that we are justified (Romans 3:28).

And yes, the spirit of deception is very real. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 warns us about those who ‘refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false.’ This is why it’s critical that we stay vigilant, test everything against Scripture, and hold fast to the truth.

Thank you for your passion in standing firm on these truths. Let’s keep encouraging each other to lift up Jesus and His message above all else.
Johann.

I hear your passion and concern, and you’ve highlighted a crucial issue.

It’s alarming to see how some people use the name of Jesus and His teachings selectively, sometimes twisting His words to contradict other parts of His message. Jesus warned us about this in Matthew 7:21-23 (Lexham Bible): “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

The refusal to teach that one must first believe on Jesus the Christ is indeed a serious issue. John 3:18 (Lexham Bible) makes it clear: “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” Teaching concepts about the cross and righteousness without this foundational belief is not only misguided but also dangerous.

Your call to preach Jesus and Him crucified aligns perfectly with 1 Corinthians 2:2 (Lexham Bible): “For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” This is the core of our message and the basis of our faith.

Indeed, every word of God is true and beneficial for our souls. As Proverbs 30:5 (Lexham Bible) says, “Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” We must hold firmly to the truth of Scripture and avoid being led astray by teachings that deviate from it.

Your commitment to standing firm on the truth of Christ Jesus, the Rock of Israel, is commendable. As we navigate through various teachings and interpretations, may we always return to the foundation of Jesus Christ and His gospel.

It's good to be spotted in places where the Word of God is being shared. The Bible is our foundation, our guide, and the source of truth.

Colossians 3:16 encourages us to "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom." Staying dug in the Bible ensures that we remain rooted in Christ, growing in wisdom and understanding.

Keep digging deep, my friend. The more we immerse ourselves in Scripture, the more equipped we are to stand firm in our faith.

You know what i notice my friend .
a lot of folks use the name of JESUS the CHRIST , use some of his sayings
and yet sure seem to deny other sayings of His . EVEN using some of his sayings they do twist
to try and contradict Quite a few of his other sayings .
That my friend , WILL NOT bode well on the DAY of the LORD .
Kinda like i see me one trying to preach concepts about the cross and being crucified
and about righteousness and etc , YET REFUSE to teach one MUST FIRST BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
that my friend is known as being crafity and full of guile , that DENIES JESUS THE CHRIST.
Its not gonna bode well on the day of THE LORD either .
March onwards in the trenches my friend . I make no apologies to any and to all about my dire
reminders of the absolute necessity to believe on JESUS the CHRIST , to actually preach JESUS and HIM crucified
and to remind of all things HE Did teach , later the apostels did teach , and all biblical doctrine .
cause , EVERY WORD OF GOD IS TRUE and GOOD for the soul of the hearer and the doer
Let GOD be true but every man a liar . EVERY word of GOD is pure indeed . TRUTH it is and from TRUTH it came .
Lift those hands up my friend . by the grace of GOD may i go out as i came in
STANDING FIRM upon the GLORIOUS STONE , THE ROCK OF ISRAEL , CHRIST JESUS and offering up NO other hope .
CAUSE The only other hope there is , is known as FALSE HOPE , its all in vain .
DENY GOD , WE BE DENIED . AND I PROMISE if one denies JESUS , THEY DID DENY GOD .
Every word of the LORD is of pure beauty my friend , as the sweetest honey to the soul
but beware the bitter words of men gone wrong , they like a dung filled poison .
