Again, reading skills and honesty are required to be able to understand what is written. I've already heard many of the ways to misunderstand the text.

Wandering forever is not the same as wandering now. A four year old can discern the difference.
lol. More cultish attitude from the false prophet

Another thing that is done to eliminate the 4 destinies is to describe the book of life at the GWT judgment as a book of death...as if all who are resurrected to stand before the GWT are thrown into the lake of fire. Again, with a little reading skills and some honesty, the text doesn't say that all are cast into the lake of fire. It says that a book was opened and whoever was NOT written in the book was cast into the lake of fire.

An honest reader would see 2 distinct possibilities. One...that a person's name is in the book...or that a person's name is not in the book.

It's like saying. Anybody who was not seated in the bus had to walk. Does that mean that all had to walk?

Religious indoctrination takes away the freedom from being able to be honest and logical.
lol

ok lets look at this

1. Who was delivered to the great white throne judgment? Was it not Death and hades?

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [c]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

2. Who was cast into the lake of fire - was it not also death and hades?

14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [d]death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

so once again, the TEACHER who tells everyone they need to know how to read. is proven to be incapable of reading himself.

The statement @Episkopos is referring to seems to misunderstand the nature of the resurrection and judgment described in Revelation

20:11-15. Here’s a corrected explanation, supported by Scripture:

Corrected Statement:
The assertion that all who are resurrected to stand before the Great White Throne (GWT) are cast into the lake of fire is incorrect. A careful and honest reading of the text reveals that not all are cast into the lake of fire. According to Revelation 20:12-15:

Revelation 20:12:

"And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books."
This verse describes a judgment based on the deeds recorded in the books and the book of life.
Revelation 20:15:

"Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire."
Here, it is specifically noted that only those whose names are not found in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire.
Summary of Key Points:
Two Distinct Possibilities: Not 4.

The text indeed presents two distinct possibilities:
A person’s name is in the book of life: Such individuals are not cast into the lake of fire.
A person’s name is not in the book of life: These individuals are cast into the lake of fire.
Judgment Based on the Book of Life:

The key distinction is that the judgment involves determining whether one’s name is written in the book of life. Only those not found in the book of life face eternal punishment in the lake of fire.
Therefore, the accurate interpretation is that not everyone resurrected before the Great White Throne is cast into the lake of fire; it is specifically those whose names are not found in the book of life who face this judgment.

Ronald, what you posted is found in Rev. 20: 13-15 which is the great white throne judgement.

Have you considered the Bema seat judgement, as in judgement begins at the house of God.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Pet. 4:17

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Cor 5:10

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 Tim. 20:20

This verse I believe speaks of the people who were saved and were of the house of God but are vessels of dishonour. Where do you suppose that they end up??

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1 Cor. 3:15

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Rev. 20:5

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev 20:6

Perhaps there is more to consider than you supposed. Prayfully consider the whole counsel of God and allow Him to show you.

Peace
The bema seat is a judgment where people are rewarded. hence the greek word used "bema"

the great white throne is not a BEMA seat. it is a KRINO judgment, this judgment is a trial. where there are no rewards given, but a judgment is given (guilty or innocent)

also notice. Children of God, jesus himself said will be raised by him.

John 6: 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day

If you read in rev 20. these people are not raised by him, they are delivered to him.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

Also notice. they were called dead. Children of God are not dead. they have passed from death to Life having been born again (john 3, John 5, John 6, eph 1 and many other places)

also notice. all who were delieverd to christ in Rev 20 are cast away by Christ in rev 20

14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [d]death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

it would be good to understand the difference between the two judgments

at the BEMA seat will be those raised by Christ.

at the great white (krino) will be death and hades and those delivered to christ.

He seems to be impervious to criticism, much like water off a duck’s back. You need to counter his arguments with Scripture to address his views effectively.
he has done this for years.. You have to have a hard head and be able to take criticism when you do what he does..

The statement @Episkopos is referring to seems to misunderstand the nature of the resurrection and judgment described in Revelation

The text indeed presents two distinct possibilities:

the problem is, If you read closer. The peoples who's name is in the book of life. is also not even at this judgment,

Their works were tried on the cross..

But yes, I agree 2 possibilities not for

even jesus said there are two

he who believes is not condemned, he who does not believe is condemned already (john 3)

Believe or not believe

condemned or not condemned,

always two. not 4..

The peoples who's name is in the book of life. is also not even at this judgment,

Their works were tried on the cross..
Revelation 20:12-15:

"And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire."
This passage indicates that only those whose names are not found in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire.
John 5:24:

"Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."
Jesus speaks about believers having eternal life and not facing judgment for their sins because their judgment has been dealt with through Him.
Romans 8:1:

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
For those who are in Christ, there is no condemnation, meaning they are not judged for their sins because Jesus has already taken that judgment upon Himself.
2 Corinthians 5:10:

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."
Believers will appear before the judgment seat of Christ (often referred to as the Bema seat) to receive rewards for their deeds, not condemnation. This is distinct from the Great White Throne judgment.

1 John 1:7:

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."
The blood of Jesus purifies believers from all sin, highlighting that their sins have been addressed through Christ’s sacrifice.
Summary
Believers whose names are written in the book of life are not subject to the Great White Throne judgment because their judgment has been satisfied by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. The Great White Throne judgment is reserved for those whose names are not in the book of life. Believers are judged according to their works at the judgment seat of Christ, where they receive rewards rather than facing eternal punishment.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Pet. 4:17
The context of that verse is chastisement.....the Lord chastises who He loves as sons.......that we may partake of His holiness......who has suffered in the body is done with sin. That is the judgment that begins with His house. We are experiencing it now in this life in such a way that is unto life so that we will not judged unto death/destruction later with the unbelieving world. This is how we are paying the price to follow Jesus...the way of the cross and narrow path that leads to LIFE. (Whereas the broad way leads to destruction.) And if we would judge ourselves we will not be judged with the world.

The vessels of dishonour are the "bad fish" that were indeed caught but end up being thrown back into the sea with the unbelieving.

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1 Cor. 3:15
This verse is sometimes applied to unbelievers, but it can't be. Unbelievers are not working to build the temple of God at all (and tares will not be saved at all). Wood, hay and stubble is talking about believers who are building with temporal things rather than spiritual (of the Holy Spirit). The fires of judgment will burn up those works that are not of God. But that one will himself be saved (saved means to inherit eternal life) if he is a true believer, even though his works won't endure. Assume there will be lesser "rewards" in the hereafter.

Rev 20:6

First resurrection took place in the first century didn't it?......remember all those OT saints who were resurrected at the time of Jesus' resurrection. THAT is the resurrection that those who are being saved afterwards will "have a part in". (The OT saints will not be made perfect without us.)

I believe we are in the thousand years now....this now is the age of God's longsuffering (grace) which we are to account as salvation (as per 2Peter 3) like in the time of Noah before judgment came....true? "The rest of the dead"....is referring to all those who did not inherit eternal life and have no part in the first resurrection....and will be resurrected at the end of the age to face judgment on the day of judgment.

I know this is not a popular view, but hope you will consider it. Look carefully at 2 Peter 3.

Just a thought about the book of remembrance.......specifically for OT saints.....I believe it is God saying "I will not forget you" to those OT saints as per Isaiah. 49:15 where the crucifixion is also alluded to.....so same thing as the Lamb's book of life, except the Lamb hadn't come and been crucified in the fullness of time yet.

"Book of life" isn't mentioned in the old testament that I have found.....and here we see it mentioned in reference to the Lamb, so it isn't a separate book from the book of Life:

I don't know, I'm not your judge. I'm not even sure what your definition of cessationism is.
Simple-

Scripture Reference
Romans 10:17 (NIV):

"Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ."
Breakdown and Interpretation
"Faith Comes from Hearing":

The Greek word used here for "hearing" is ἀκοή (akoe), which refers to the act of listening or hearing. In this context, it implies that faith is developed or initiated by hearing the message of Christ.
"The Message":

The term for "message" in Greek is ῥῆμα (rhema), which often denotes a spoken word or message. It refers to the specific content of what is preached or proclaimed, in this case, the message of Christ.
"Through the Word About Christ":

The "word about Christ" refers to the gospel or good news concerning Jesus Christ. This message includes the life, death, resurrection, and the implications of Christ's work for humanity.
Theological Implications
Role of Preaching:

This verse underscores the importance of preaching and proclaiming the gospel. It suggests that hearing the message of Christ is essential for the development of faith. Preaching is a vital means by which individuals come to understand and believe in the gospel.
Faith and Understanding:

Faith is not a mere intellectual assent but a response to the message of Christ. The process of hearing the gospel message enables individuals to understand and respond in faith.
The Necessity of the Gospel Message:

Without the proclamation of the gospel, there would be no message for people to hear and believe. This emphasizes the role of evangelism and the spreading of the word as crucial for the growth of faith.
Related Scriptures
Romans 10:14:

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"
This verse highlights the need for preaching so that people can hear and come to faith.
1 Corinthians 1:21:

"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe."
The message of the gospel, though perceived as foolishness by some, is the means by which God has chosen to bring salvation to those who believe.
Ephesians 1:13:

"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit."
This passage connects hearing the message of truth with the reception of the Holy Spirit and salvation.
Conclusion
The phrase "faith comes from hearing" emphasizes that faith is a response to the message of Christ. Hearing the gospel is essential for the development of faith, as it provides the content and context necessary for belief. This highlights the importance of preaching and proclaiming the gospel message as a means to bring individuals to faith in Jesus Christ.

faith comes by hearing -- The desired response of preaching is faith.
When it is said that faith cometh by hearing, it does not mean that all who hear actually believe, but that faith does not exist unless there is a message, or report, to be heard and believed.

The context of v. 17 is the oral preaching about Christ (see RSV)

Obedience comes from believing. and believing comes from hearing the Word of God (Rom_10:17). Compare 1Th_2:13; Heb_4:2 (Rev.); and hearing of faith, i.e., message of faith, Gal_3:2. (See Act_18:8 for the process of obeying.)

hearing by the word of God -- KJ (Majority Text) haramtos theou is found many times elsewhere. (dia rematos Christou, through the word of Christ, in some texts is only found here and is not conclusive.) see RSV, NIV, etc.
And the report, or the message (η ̔ἀκοὴ hē akoē), is by the Word of God; that is, the message is sent by the command of God. It is his word, sent by his direction,

word of God -- The word from God, originating with God. cf parallel expression Luk_3:2; Joh_3:34; Eph_6:17; Heb_6:5; Heb_11:3.

--not signs and wonders.

Correct--

Books Mentioned in the Bible
Old Testament
Book of the Covenant:

Exodus 24:7: "Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, 'We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.'"
Hebrew: סֵפֶר הַבְּרִית (sefer ha-berit).
Book of the Law:

Deuteronomy 31:26: "Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God. There it will remain as a witness against you."
Hebrew: סֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה (sefer ha-torah).
Book of Remembrance:

Malachi 3:16: "Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name."
Hebrew: סֵפֶר זִכָּרוֹן (sefer zikaron).
Book of the Wars of the Lord:

Numbers 21:14: "That is why the Book of the Wars of the Lord says: 'Waheb in Suphah and the ravines, the Arnon.'"
Hebrew: סֵפֶר מִלְחֲמוֹת יְהוָה (sefer milhamot Yahweh).
New Testament
Book of Life:

Philippians 4:3: "Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women, since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life."
Greek: βιβλίον τῆς ζωῆς (biblion tēs zōēs).
Lamb’s Book of Life:

Revelation 13:8: "All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world."
Greek: βιβλίον τῆς ζωῆς τοῦ ἀρνίου (biblion tēs zōēs tou arnion).
Book of Revelation:

Revelation 1:11: "Which said: 'Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.'"
Greek: βιβλίον (biblion).
Theological Reflection
Book of Remembrance
Purpose:

Malachi 3:16 refers to a "scroll of remembrance" that records those who fear the Lord and honor His name. This book symbolizes God's assurance that He does not forget the faithful.
Comparison to the Book of Life:

Isaiah 49:15: "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!"
This verse emphasizes God's steadfast memory and commitment, mirroring the concept of the Book of Remembrance. It suggests a similar assurance for Old Testament saints, though not explicitly called the "Book of Life."
Book of Life and Lamb’s Book of Life

Book of Life:

Mentioned in the New Testament as the record of those who have eternal life through faith in Christ.
Lamb’s Book of Life:

Revelation 13:8 and Revelation 21:27 suggest this book is associated with Jesus, the Lamb, whose sacrifice is pivotal for those written in it. It denotes the same concept as the Book of Life but emphasizes the Lamb’s role in salvation.
Conclusion
The "Book of Remembrance" in the Old Testament and the "Book of Life" in the New Testament share thematic similarities, reflecting God’s remembrance and assurance of salvation. The "Lamb’s Book of Life" is a New Testament revelation that integrates the concept of the Book of Life with the significance of Christ’s redemptive work. The distinction lies in the specific theological emphasis and timing of revelation concerning the Messiah's work.

But I must go with what the word says, not give people a false hope.
There seems to be some confusion about the meaning of Hell and who goes there because of the way the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades have been translated in our English Bibles. Since this confusion has led some into an erroneous understanding of what the Bible actually teaches about the intermediate state and the final state of the dead, we think that it is important that we address this subject here.

Sheol is found in the Bible sixty-five times. It is translated “the pit” three times, “the grave” thirty-one times, and “hell” thirty-one times. Hades is used eleven times, being rendered “hell” ten times and “grave” once. Adding to the confusion is that two other words are also translated hell in the New Testament. These are Tartarus, which is found once and Gehenna, which is used twelve times.

The term “Hell” is commonly understood to mean a place of torment where the souls of the wicked go after physical death. This is true. However, because Hades in the New Testament and Sheol in the Old are variously rendered hell or grave, there has been some misunderstanding about what hell and the grave are. Before looking at these words though, we should first give our attention to the Greek word Gehenna, which is always translated hell and used in reference to the Lake of Fire. It is found in Matthew 5:22,29,30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15,33; Mark 9:43,45,47; Luke 12:5; and James 3:6.

THE FINAL HELL
The Lake of Fire, or Hell, is a literal place of everlasting fire that was originally created by God as a place of punishment for Satan and the angels that followed him in his rebellion against God (Mat. 25:41). Because it is referred to as the place of “outer darkness” (Mat. 8:12; 25:30), we believe that it is most probably located at the farthest reaches of the creation. Gehenna is described in Scripture as a “furnace of fire” (Mat. 13:42); “everlasting punishment” (Mat. 25:46); “the mist [gloom] of darkness” (II Pet. 2:17); the “hurt of the second death” (Rev. 2:11 cf. 20:6,14; 21:8); “a lake of fire burning with brimstone” (Rev. 19:20; 20:10; 21:8).

While Hell was created for Satan and the other fallen angels, the unsaved of humanity from all ages will be with them in this place of torment where “there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth” (Mat. 13:42). This is the “everlasting reward” of all that die in their sins.

While there is no one in the Lake of Fire at this time, it will one day hold a vast multitude. The first residents of this place of righteous retribution will be the Beast (Antichrist) and the False Prophet who, at the end of the Tribulation, will be “cast alive into a lake burning with brimstone” (Rev. 19:19-20). Joining them will be the unsaved of the nations who survive the Tribulation (Mat. 25:31-32,41-46). Also, at Jesus Christ’s return to earth, the rebel Israelites, i.e. unbelieving Jews, who survive the Tribulation, will be denied entrance into the Millennial Kingdom, no doubt to join their Gentile counterparts in the “place of everlasting fire” (Eze. 20:33-38; Mat. 7:21-23; cf. Mat. 24:29-31,45-51). Then, at the end of the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ, Satan will be “cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Rev. 20:10). And finally, the unsaved dead of all ages will be raised and judged at the Great White Throne by Jesus Christ and then cast into the Lake of Fire (see Rev. 20:11-15).

PRACTICAL APPLICATION FOR TODAY
A proper understanding of what the Bible teaches about Hell, Sheol, Hades, and the Grave dispels confusion over what happens to the soul at the time of physical death and guards against being led astray by those teaching the false doctrines of soul-sleep, eradication of the soul, the universal reconciliation of mankind, and the annihilation of the lost. All of these erroneous doctrines are of Satan, used of him to dishearten believers and blind the lost to the reality of the cost of spurning the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our thinking, and therefore our life on a day-to-day basis, is influenced by what we believe. While some of the false doctrines mentioned above are diametrically opposed to each other, they still have one thing in common. They subvert the truth of the immortality of the soul.
