Dead—-God’s power works mightily towards you.
To me that long line is outside of ourselves(crucified with Christ— the power of God working —toward another. I personally don’t think we can fake or make up that long line outside of ourself, having nothing to do with that which is dead…but the outwards working (not meaning the outer man flesh) but Spiritual power beyond what is dead. To me we “wait” and have “patience” for but where that long line is of God work outside of what is dead is His giving the increase. Does that make sense? How can someone control or claim what transforms beyond that which is dead?

I think I understand now. We cannot fake the increase that comes from God, and that takes us beyond our own natural bounderies. We can't fake it, we can't say we did it, and that means also that we are waiting on Him to bring us along. Is this what you are saying?

I would like to agree with those who are thinking that there must be something wrong with John and pray for him. I no longer think that way and feel that he has an agenda here. He is certainly causing confusion.

Lie # 11,478 God only judges by one standard.

There are two resurrections to come. The first judgment is the Bema seat judgment for a face to face encounter with Christ with HIS people. Judgment begins at the house of God. This is where people either get a "well done good and faithful servant" or else..a "go away I never knew you". This is where the works are evaluated to see if they are eternal or temporal. If they are spiritual or carnal. If they are dead works or works prepared in advance. This is not about whether a person is saved but whether they are to be vessels of honour and glory... or dishonour and shame. It's about the quality of the salvation they receive from the Lord based on whether they were faithful and righteous, or else faithless and unrighteous.

The second judgment comes with the general resurrection of all people at the GWT (Great White throne) judgment. This is not a face to face encounter with God or Jesus but a sorting by the angels who look for names written in the Book of Life. Whoever is not written in the book of life is thrown int o the lake of fire...to perish there. The saved of the nations will be populated with the righteous on whom God showed mercy. Their names will be present in the Book of Life. God has had mercy on them.

Also, only the Born again, go to the Bema Seat, and they are already "In Christ"...so, they wont be going anywhere, except to heaven to stay.

Jesus would never say to the "born again" that He didnt know them, as all the Born again are "The Temple of the Holy Spirit"

All the born again are "In Christ"..

All the born again are "one with God".

And Jesus is IN all the born again, as "Christ IN YOU, the hope of Glory"..

So, Jesus certainly KNOWS the : CHRISTian.

You have to read the bible. Jesus does not engage people personally at the Great White throne judgment. These are judged out of a book, whether their name is written in it or not.

But God's house is personal. Therefore when Jesus says to many who say, Lord Lord...we did this and that in You Name...only to be rejected by Him...that is at the Bema seat judgment for God's people. If you can read Hebrew I could show you how that works...but alas, let's get you to comprehend some English first! ;)

I think both things are true. There is a heart issue, and there is a spiritual issue, and the heart issue red-flags the spiritual issue.

I like the …as a farmer is patient. It’s weird for decades I wasn’t even aware I was sowing seed and nothing was seen that was growing until it started to spring up as you said …i was warned but I didn’t believe or never paid any attention to “reaping what you sow”. Until it was unmistakable I had panted and tended to bad fruit. I say this because I can relate to what Paul says here: Romans 6:20-21 For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. [21] What fruit had you then in those things whereof you are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

My husband talked about this one night. About sowing and reaping and what fruit had you then in those things you are now ashamed of?

BUT I sure hope better things are being sowed. That is the difference now. Expecting better Fruit than that of the first.

Same here! I've sown much into my life that I regret now. Like you, I had no idea what I was doing. I too relate to that passage very well!

All I said was that even Billy Graham came to understand God's mercy after MANY years in His service. I have seen religious ideologues condemn him as being reprobate because of that. Much like my own treatment by the religious ideologues here.

It just takes one ounce of honesty to realize that the false hubris displayed here falls like a house of cards if one allows love and mercy for others in. So judge away! :)
