What does Jesus teach about throwing insults at each other, accusing the brethren of all sorts of un- truths about another’s character?

In my opinion, from observation, it often seems to be a self-protective response. Protecting some area of insecurity or fear or pride, etc.....causes people to take offense too easily and get aggressive and go on the offence. An area of the soul that hasn't yet opened up to the Lord for that very reason of self-protection and self-preservation.

The irony is that there is nothing to fear in opening ourselves up to the light of the Lord......because He isn't out to hurt us, but rather heal. So we really are believing a lie....a stronghold and snare that needs to be taken down to let the truth in.....truth that sets us free.

Ok, I appreciate your input and seeing it from another perspective.

How can I grow as a person or in Christ, if I take what some people/ members say to me personally?

Why would I take what they say to me personally as in negative/ destructive on board into my heart/ spirit?

What would happen if one did that to a child growing up....do you think they could end up with mental health problems ?

Why is there so much mental health problems in the world?

If one’s parents kept telling their daughter/ son that they were thick....didn’t you believe what your parents said to you growing up? I did.

Im not sure exactly what you mean by this or what you are trying to accomplish.

My intention was to apologize to Behold for my actions, not accuse him of anything. I said Jesus told us to respond with cursing with blessing. I said I failed to do this by being sarcastic and mocking his post to another user. I removed that podt.

His response was to say Im accusing him of cursing me.

Im not sure where to go from there. I was focused on the sorry part, not his actions.

I hope you understand where Im coming from. I dont see a need to quote him because I only brought it up to apologize for my response to it, not to comment on his words.

Accusations flying around about our character....I mean I’ve been accused of being a devil worshipper....I’m sure I’ve accused others also....why do we do it?

The NT says that God gives.. "Pastors, Apostles, Evangelists, Teachers, and Prophets"....for the "Perfecting of the Saints'.

You omitted all that she said so to make your point. In doing so you actually reiterated what she posted when you said, God gives....

The Reason people go to Church is to learn, is to be perfected, in their walk with God... also regarding their Faith.

The reason people should come to Forums, is for the same reason, but, Forums, are dangerous, because they are not created , in most cases, to Stop harmful Theology.....they instead enlist it and then the damage is then done as the harmful theology is allowed to harm real believers.

Also, the way you perfect a Christian, is to teach them the TRUTH, and help them out of deception.

Now, there are some who say.....that a "Catholic, or a Mormon, or a JW,, are not "really Christians"...

But, the truth is...some of them may be born again, yet they are DECEIVED by their CULT.

That is not "of God", and they need Help.

With face-to-face communication it has all of the feedback loops operating as we learn during our conversation.
With ear-to-ear communication the feedback loops not operating are visual and environmental indicators.
With written communication the process of communicating with each other is much slower. There are no visual feedback loops, or environmental factors or verbal indicators operating from which to learn to help each other in the communication process. What becomes important is the Metadata that is being used as the words are composed on a page. Hopefully the same Metadata reference is being used.

If people are not prepared to learn about each other as they communicate with each other, then the communication process will break down and falter.

Good communication only happens when the receiver of the message is able to come to the same understanding from the words being transmitted of the message that the sender intended to be transmitted. If the recipient of a message does not come to the same understanding as the transmitter intended to be contained within their message, then the communication process breaks down and harsh words may result.

On an internet forum it can take years for members to become personal with each other and often by then the people have also moved on.

Born Again in my spirit by Gods Living witness His Holy Spirit.....a Living spiritual birth by Gods mighty power via His Living Spirit.

"Faith in Christ" is the "Faith that is counted by God", , which is the faith that comes from you, the BELIEVER.

God requires this of us, so that by this Faith that we Give God, that is our free will, God will accept OUR Faith, to then Justify us..

This is "Justification by Faith".

What was counted"?

"Abram Believed"..... , and God didnt do that for Him, as otherwise, it would be God accepting His own faith., and that does not happen.

YOU are the Believer, or the UNbeliever..., not God.

See, when YOU die and meet God, you will meet Him as Judge or Father... and that is based on what YOU Decided to do with Jesus...while you were alive.... and that is not what God made you do with Him, as deceived Calvinism teaches.
