Keep in mind the dynamic. It is wholly possible that you are getting EXACTLY the feedback you need. It is possible that there is already something negative/ destructive in your heart/ spirit. The other person is merely observing this and loves you enough to hold a mirror up to you. It is a great way to grow. In fact, there is hardly a better way to grow - when what is said to you is true AND you react humbly.
A person can’t correct a person of God..only the Spirit can correct us and open our heart/ spirit to understanding...of course the Holy Spirit can correct a person through them...no human can correct a Born Again, only the Spirit can do that.

Only God knows what’s in my heart, man can’t, he knows our heart/ spirit better than we do.

“Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” (1 Timothy 5:20, KJV)

BUT THE PROBLEM IS MANY DESPISE BEING CONFRONTED BY OTHERS ON THEIR ERRORS:

“But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.” (Jeremiah 7:28, KJV)

A Born Again doesn’t sin because they have been Born Of God’s seed.

Have you been Born Again Of incorruptible seed? that liveth and endureth forever?

If you don’t understand this, then you won’t understand to be Born Of God’s seed.

What seed are we Born Again of?

Jesus told us to respond to cursing with blessing. I definitely failed to do this. (Sorry @Behold

I've not "cursed" you.

We had 2 discussion points.......basically the same thing,.

Over a month ago we were on your "Thread" that was talking about forum behavior and i posted that if the Forum stopped allowing some topics to be discussed that cause all the fighting, then the fighting ends.
You didnt like my point of view.

This latest comment you gave to me, was the same....in general.........and then i showed you what Ritajanice was doing on My Threads, that i asked her to stop.. and that just initiated more of it, for some days in a row,... and then i requested that she not participate in my THreads, as she's not able to actually reply to the topic, but only wants to keep letting the world know that she believes she was born again, before She gave God her Faith in Christ.
So, as she kept posting this 10x, 20x, 30x, across my Treads, and still does, i pointed this out to you.

You feel that me doing this is "cursing' you., is your reply.

A Born Again doesn’t sin because they have been Born Of God’s seed.

The scripture does say that.

But we are also warned against willful sin as well.

Instead of magnifying one scripture over another and becoming proud we should be humble and meek and keep both scriptures in mind in the fear of God.

Yikes!

Make A Blessed Day!
You edited out that I posted, only The Holy Spirit can correct Gods children..he could do this through another person of course, but, it’s his voice that we need to hear, it needs to penetrate our heart/ spirit...and it will, it just needs to be in God’s timing.

As I said when you understand what it means to be Born Again of incorruptible seed..you would then understand that a Born Again doesn’t sin because we have been Born Of God’s seed.

There is nowhere in the written word that says a “ Born Again” sins....

What does being Born Of Gods seed mean?

What in you has been Born Again?

Short commentary.

Can you confess Jesus is Lord without the Holy Spirit?
1 Corinthians 12:3 New King James Version (NKJV) Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

Getting personal with each other.

I would say that is an attribute of BOTH:
Human nature…
AND
Spiritual nature…

Discovery of an others PERSONAL Desires, Likes, Dislikes….gives an individual opportunity to Discover a COMMON GROUND (a tolerable LIKENESS) as well as UN-COMMON GROUND (an intolerable UN-LIKENESS) with other people.

I would suggest, When Jesus said LOVE YOUR ENEMIES…it was a suggestion to BALANCE…TREAT others accordingly for that which YOU DO share a COMMON LIKENESS…”NOT” focusing on that which is their “DIFFERENCE” you do not TOLERATE.

God Bless you.

Glory to God,

A person can’t correct a person of God.

The NT denies what you said,

The NT says that God gives.. "Pastors, Apostles, Evangelists, Teachers, and Prophets"....for the "Perfecting of the Saints'.

The Reason people go to Church is to learn, is to be perfected, in their walk with God... also regarding their Faith.

The reason people should come to Forums, is for the same reason, but, Forums, are dangerous, because they are not created , in most cases, to Stop harmful Theology.....they instead enlist it and then the damage is then done as the harmful theology is allowed to harm real believers.

Also, the way you perfect a Christian, is to teach them the TRUTH, and help them out of deception.

Now, there are some who say.....that a "Catholic, or a Mormon, or a JW,, are not "really Christians"...

But, the truth is...some of them may be born again, yet they are DECEIVED by their CULT.

That is not "of God", and they need Help.

A Calvinist is the same situation.

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

John 10:27 Context

24Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30I and my Father are one.

Proverbs 1:17 says surely, in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. In other words, when a bird sees a trap being set, it stays away. A bird will not see a trap being set and fall into it. Traps or snares are not set in the presence of the animals people wish to catch. The animals are caught in traps they’re not aware of. The same applies to traps or snares set for human beings.

The enemies set traps to catch others and, usually, they use bait to attract their targets. Unaware of the trap, they get caught or ensnared as soon as they make contact with the bait. “Does a bird ever get caught in a trap that has no bait?” (Amos 3:5a New Living Translation). Once someone gets caught in the enemies’ traps, one is at the mercy of the enemies. You will not fall into your enemies’ traps in Jesus’ name.

No…(with a CAVEAT)

[1 Corinthians 12:3 New King James Version (NKJV) Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

CAVEAT…
BY the Holy Spirit…is AFFECTED in TWO WAYS.

The Holy Spirit:
CAN BE “WITH” a man.(And CAN (or might NOT), LEAVE a man)

The Holy Spirit:
CAN BE “WITH-IN” a man. (And NEVER LEAVE that man)

* a mans First Heartful CONFESSION of BELIEF “IN” God, a man Does so, speaking from the mans corrupt, natural spirit IN his Heart (which IS NOT BAPTIZED with the Holy Spirit)….BUT Yet, the Holy Spirit IS “WITH” that man…(just NOT “IN” that man).

* THAT ^ is a mans CONFESSION of Belief, “called” while that man IS “DEAD IN HIS SIN”.

* THAT ^ Heartful Confession of Belief…”IS” the express “order and way” God Himself has OFFERED a man TO expressly RECEIVE God “who is WITH” that man….to RECEIVE God “IN” that man … Once and Forever guaranteeing God SHALL NEVER Leave that man.

God Bless you.

In the King James Version of the Bible the text reads: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

So, to be born "not of blood", eliminates the earth birth.

To Be born "not of the will of man", eliminates any man causing it.

To Be Born, "Of God"....... means that "God is A Spirit'.. Who has birthed the spirit of a believer into Himself by the Holy Spirit.

This is to be "born...........again"........thats #2 birth day.

Its this one.

Jesus said....>"YOU must be born again".

I don't think you cursed me. You were clearly adressing someone else. I mentioned responding to cursing with blessing because I think I think blessing is going to be the response God wants me to have for most situations. Im saying that I was wrong to mock you with sarcasm. And thats all I meant by my post, if you can believe it.

I don't think taking offense to things you say needs to be my focus at all.

We obviously disagree on the topic of salvation and grace on a fundamental level. And I took offense at your personal interactions and didn't respond well at all.

Nevertheless I sincerely pray God blesses you in every area of your life along with your family. I say this not because you cursed me but to bless you.

Enjoy your day in the Lord.

Interesting commentary.

Why was Paul called the apostle to the Gentiles?

apostle to the Gentiles
ANSWER

Paul calls himself “the apostle to the Gentiles” in Romans 11:13. It’s not as though Paul never preached to the Jews—on the contrary, his custom was to preach first in the synagogue when entering a new city (Acts 17:2). And it’s not as though the other apostles never preached to Gentiles (see Acts 10). But in a real sense, Paul’s ministry among the Gentiles was unique. Paul’s mission was to proclaim the gospel to the Gentiles: “He chose me to be a servant of Christ Jesus for the Gentiles and to do the work of a priest in the service of his good news. God did this so that the Holy Spirit could make the Gentiles into a holy offering, pleasing to him” (Romans 15:16, CEV).

Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles by God’s choice. The Lord Jesus declared that He had a specific mission for Paul: “This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel” (Acts 9:15). Paul had been set apart from birth and called by God’s grace so that he might “preach [Christ] among the Gentiles” (Galatians 1:15–16).

Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles because the bulk of his ministry was spent in pagan lands planting churches among the Gentiles. Paul was the first to preach the gospel on European soil. His three missionary journeys took him far from Jewish lands to Gentile areas where Diana, Zeus, and Apollo were worshiped, to Cyprus, to Athens, to Malta, and eventually to Rome. He desired to preach in Spain as well (Romans 15:24), but it’s unsure if he ever made it that far.

Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles because he was under obligation to serve in Gentile lands. Paul’s testimony was that “this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ” (Ephesians 3:8). Peter preached (mainly) to the Jews, and Paul was commissioned to preach (mainly) to the Gentiles: “God had given me the responsibility of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as he had given Peter the responsibility of preaching to the Jews” (Galatians 2:7, NLT).

Paul was well-qualified to be the apostle to the Gentiles. He was well-educated, being thoroughly trained in the Mosaic Law under Gamaliel (Acts 22:3) and having received a classical Roman education in Tarsus. He had the ability to argue his point from Jewish Law (Galatians 4:21–31) and to illustrate it from Greek literature (Acts 17:28; Titus 1:12; 1 Corinthians 15:33). Paul’s training as a Pharisee (Philippians 3:5) allowed him access to synagogues everywhere, and he also held the privileges of Roman citizenship, which opened doors of opportunity throughout the Roman world (Acts 22:3, 25–29; 28:30)..

The Lord specifically chose Paul to be the apostle to the Gentiles to show that salvation is offered to all people. Ephesians 3:6speaks of how Christ brings together both Gentile and Jew: “And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus” (NLT). May the Lord continue to reach people everywhere for His glory, and may we display Paul’s willingness to go wherever God calls us.
