It’s not really that bad RitaJanice, before I became a mod I would often contemplate leaving. I guess being a mod gave me a sense of purpose, that’s now gone. I have so many differing views to many on here and so many things get debated all the time that things just go round and round- ends up becoming stale and unproductive to keep reading.
However it was something else that triggered my thoughts yesterday. I will see how I feel in a few days time. I honestly would not be missed as I don’t post that much.

I think it’s the arguing I keep getting myself involved in, Will God ever set me free from my pride and ego?
I think I try to hard to please him, which I know I shouldn’t do....I haven’t argued today though, I’ve been tempted to jump in and have my two cents worth.
I remember you saying on a thread once have your two cents, then walk away...that was good advice....I’m going to try that, I keep forgetting that I don’t have to answer members back...I can just keep posting what I believe to be God’s truth....that way the enemy can’t ensnare me,xx

I would miss you. There are not many of us lady brits.
I have sometimes felt like giving up on the forum but I've found that ignoring certain members and not getting involved in supposition, speculation or heated debate that just goes round and round in circles makes visiting much more enjoyable.

So true, I’ve just read a load of my posts, well, at least I can recognise that in myself....now God needs to help me with it and He will.....providing I keep my mouth zipped...I know it’s not a laughing matter and understand completely what you say here.
I have loads on ignore, and I agree it is an asset. I've never come across it on any other sites. Also I think you pretty much get to know those who are born again from those who belong to cults and sects. Many people have tried to shake my beliefs but none have succeeded. I stand on the Rock who is Jesus.

Ive actually never thought of deleting my account here.
A bad moment can happen or someone can get on my nerves but I don't need to be on here all the time.

Absolutely, and almost from day one of becoming a member then, my dear friend Helen whom I have not seen but knew she was pulling away, in-boxed me with a good kick-butt, encouragement, "grow a thick skin" she would say. Lol.
Yes, several times over the 6 years here I have wanted to do that but; realized it was a "moody day" making me want to do that. Seeing the arguments and such but, God keeps me here!

I have to admit I have been a terrible arguer....I understand arguing, I think until one understands that it’s all about “ SELF” you won’t be set free from it.....I “ Loved” to argue....why, because I had been mute for so long , then found my voice and realised my opinion was as valid as anyone else’s..I would argue until the cows came home....I realise now that arguing is of “ SELF” what does God say about arguing...
I always have had to learn Gods truth in my spirit, it’s in His written word of course, but, I had to have it relayed to my heart/ spirit, if that makes sense.
I communicate with God via the Living Holy Spirit.......always have...and Gods Witness the Living Holy Spirit backs up what I hear him say to my spirit...... in God’s written word.
He speaks to my spirit and I believe I am well aware most of the time now, when it’s me speaking.xx
