This is a great point and I feel it also.

I believe this is part of what Jesus meant when he talked about the narrow road. On the narrow road, I am carried by the currents of the Spirit. On the wide road, I arrive due to my own ego and desires. Any "victory" here is mine but not the way and why it is so hard for the road starts off wide but narrows to a dead end.

Short commentary.

To be "Self-Controlled" is a FRUIT of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26). That means that self-control is a RESULT that will occur when we allow the Holy Spirit to rule over us instead of being dominated by our sinful nature. To be self-controlled means that you are MODERATE and NOT extreme or excessive in anything.

I received some great advice from a Brother on here a few nights ago....either ignore the member who is upsetting you in your heart/ spirit...or do what I did, put them on ignore.


The peace one has is unbelievable and remember to pray for that persons troubled inner being..what comes out of their mouth tells a sad story...imo.
