Because what they're advocating is a slave system for us,not them. They will be the masters over us. And we will be the slaves. As we are now only with a distinct shift so to make it very clear our way of life as we knew it is over.
The system of checks and balances really doesn't work when all three branches members cash checks and balance their books after selling 99% of Americans out .
It's not looking good for the west these days. The spirit of the world is always seeking to CONTROL individuals and nations......it's a battle for control and dominion. A bad political situation is really just a symptom of a deeper problem......which answer is only found in God ultimately, because except the LORD keep the city the watchmen waken in vain. Though I know it will seem like foolishness to many whenever anyone points these things out......the carnal mind of flesh tries to overrule the mind/spirit of Christ.

Problem is.......far right is a pushback against far left and vice versa. Each camp thinks it is the answer and solution to the other. And what do we as the church have to do with Satan's kingdom.....we are in the world but not supposed to be of it. Makes me think of the angel in the OT when he was asked which side he was on and he answered "Neither, but in the name of the LORD do I come." We need only be on the Lord's side, not pick a side that belongs to this world. Both sides involve deception and a snare if we allow our hearts to be caught up in either. Bottom line is that it doesn't work when God is judging the nation. Goes to show that Laws and politics are not our saviour and what we are to place our trust in. AKA idolatry.

When God has turned and become our enemy.......no laws or politics in the world can prevail against the ALMIGHTY. Only repentance can. In a democracy Laws only work if enough people agree with them. Otherwise they aren't worth the paper they are printed on. You can have all the best laws in the world but if enough people don't care about them anymore, they carry no weight and are just words on a page....they can easily be changed or ignored (not enforced). So I wouldn't be banking on laws and constitutions to save us. (Not to mention they can be changed or ignored by force.)

We should give some thought to the method that has been used to render the U.S. Constitution a paper tiger. It's the idea that compromise is a virtue. It is not. God does not compromise His laws. Man will compromise until the point where God's laws and gifts are destroyed before our eyes. That is what we have been seeing for the last 100 years.
