Glad you found a phone. Cell phones I could not do without. My sister broke her Obama phone like the first day she got it. She really only travels with me so she's kind of OK. But if something happens to me she can't use my phone with the code needed to open it. I try to get her to replace her Obama phone but she hasn't got around to it yet.Raining already. Throughout today we are supposed to get really heavy rain. Will be nice to hear, nothing like a rainy night for getting some sleep.
I ordered a smartphone on sale ($99) from Consumer Cellular....hope it's not too complicated for me. I guess I should have gotten a plain flip phone...cell phones are all new to me. Live and learn I guess.
AT&T is trying to dump landlines here in California. Plus they raise the prices like crazy...last month was $49! Consumer Cellular will be $15 with auto pay. The first month is $20 because she said I needed 1GB to set up the phone. She said they will help me to do that.
Doing well here. How have you been with the new family and all?Hope everyone is doing well
Doing well too. My husband and little one are healthy and happy and Im grateful. My baby girl sleeps through the night and naps three times a day. She is strong for a baby and quite sassy already. She'll be 6 months old tomorrow.Doing well here. How have you been with the new family and all?
My grandfather was a weatherman in Kansas, and those look like cumulus mammatus clouds. When you see those things over the Kansas plains, Dorothy gets ready to dive into the basement.I've been here before, it's Ross Lake in Washington. Never saw this view though:

We don't get a lot of tornados here in Washington. maybe one ever few years. Happy about that. I couldn't live in an area that had tornados. My grandfather was a weatherman in Kansas, and those look like cumulus mammatus clouds. I don't know as mine is setup but I do get alerts. I think some phones allow for emergency use even if not activated.Rain pounded down like crazy earlier this evening. And the new cell phone I haven't set up yet gave a flash flood alert! Can that happen... giving an alert, when it's not set up?
It's all new to me... trying to dump my landline before AT&T dumps them in California.
Good morning @Pathfinder7 it's 36 here and gets into the 40's during the day which is good. Hope your revival book is doing well. I noticed while watching the Catholic Mass that there isn't enough spontaneity in it and that lacks the spirit. Revival is good!High 63F..today
- Cloudy
- Rain..starting tomorrow.

Yes it was Malibu. Around the area I used to visit. Just a small quake with aftershocks. Nothing big. Cheers!Earthquake yesterday....jiggled my bed. Hopefully, it was not a foreshock!
Did a topic in current events if anyone is interested. Has video with good coverage.
