Yes, send some of that rain down here!

Are you getting much thunder and lightning? I used to love those things in Pennsylvania. Always so nice to hear thunder and the rain pattering down.

It's 50 now, should be 73 in the daytime.
We've had flooding here from massive rains. God gave me a vision last year I think and he was in the clouds with rain. It was a personal prediction for me to know it was coming. El Nino this year perhaps did it? Anyways they're calling it an atmospheric river. It's a few days from being over with and it will have been about two weeks of constant rain. Flooded rivers and such. It opened up a pot hole on the freeway that almost caught me. It was scary, about a 6 inch deep by 1 foot hole in the road driving at 60 mph.

I'm noticing above average temperatures coming up down around 35F in the lows which isn't bad for this time of year. Usually it is freezing this time.

Cheers!

I've been learning about Advent online. Interesting subject.

It is finally clearing up here with less rain. It's near 50's F here which is nice, but we are getting near freezing temperatures.

I don't drive in the snow so I don't know, I stocked up on food for the snow though.
After living 4 decades down in Dixie, I've just about forgotten HOW to drive on the stuff. I do remember skidding and taking out my neighbor's mailbox after the blizzard of '99.

But I'll take snow over freezing rain any day.

Haven't seen snow since visiting Pittsburgh, PA in 1989. And that was just snow flurries which briefly stuck on the ground and then melted by the afternoon.

Was there in late November and I couldn't believe there was still green grass!

A couple of my aunts said Pittsburgh doesn't get as cold as when I lived there. One aunt I visited in 1989 passed away. The other aunt moved to West Virginia as two of her kids bought homes there.

Hi everyone. 53 during these wee hours, supposed to be mid 70s in the daytime. The Winter sun keeps it feeling cooler though.

Good news...next week we are supposed to get some rain, probably showers.

Interesting history..about 'Coffee & Cowboys'
"Cowboys drank coffee on a regular basis and pretty much lived on coffee..
'hasty rations of bread and coffee' is..what helped and kept them going on
the road."
