If you say so

It's the bible that says/shows so.

1Jn_2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn_4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2Jn_1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Four verses, 5 appearances of the word and NOT ONE TIME is antichrist a system.

As correctly identified by the Reformation, it was the many antichrists of whom John wrote, comprising the system of the apostate papacy, i.e. the succession of apostate popes, and the apostate church hierarchy over which they presided.

I think you're correct. The King of the North is likely some Iranian figure who unites a coalition of nations to take out Israel. The King of the South is likely a Saidi coalition. Both of these will likely form in the near future.
I don't think so.

However, the beast of the sea is likely from the area of Iraq.

No, the kings of the south and north fight against the one most believe is the AC, in that chapter.

Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
Dan 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
Dan 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

Most believe verses 37-39 speak of the AC. The kings of the south and north come against "him" so the king of the north is not the AC.
Yes the king of the south and the king of the north do fight against the Antichrist. That's why I said the Antichrist is "A" king of the north as in he was an earlier king of the north.

What verse says that?
Daniel 12
20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

27 And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

The word North isn't even there. You claim the AC is also a king of the North in addition to the king of the North mentioned but so far nothing has been provided to prove that claim. You claimed this to somehow prove what country the AC comes from originally. The truth is the bible says nothing about any country of origin for the AC nor does it even state what race he is.

Jonah was the most powerful and successful of all OT prophets. In all 40 odd chapters of Jeremiah, there is no record of anyone at anytime taking the slightest bit of notice of anything Jeremiah said. Yet Jonah, on the strength of just one or two sermons, converted an entire city of the children of Ishmael totaling maybe 60,000 people.
I don't think that is exactly what happened.

"Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God."

Jonah spoke 8 simple words. God's words. They believed God, not Jonah.

In fact Jonah left, went into the desert, and waited to see what would happen. Jonah got mad and told God, "I told you so". Jonah explained to God, that he never wanted to come, in the first place, because God would forgive their wickedness and not destroy them. Because they all lived, Jonah then wanted to die.

If you notice, Jonah seemed to have left out the part to even repent. He was not even a good prophet. All Jonah said was the city would be destroyed in 40 days. That never happened. Had he clarified unless they repent, he would have been correct. Jonah never even said God would destroy the city. Seems to me the Holy Spirit did all the work, and Jonah just claimed destruction.

Jonah really did not want these people to live, but literally die in their sins because of how they treated Israel. Jonah did not think he was successful.

The chapter is about the 4th king of Persia, who attempts to take over all the Greeks.

Then it turns to Alexander the Great who is replaced by his Generals.

Until Egypt itself gains power, the king of the south, against Antiochus Epiphanes.

Some think he is a type for some future AC. But the chapter is about Antiochus Epiphanes, not the time of the Second Coming.

Jesus said it would be like Antiochus Epiphanes. Jesus has to set up His throne in His Temple before any of that can even happen, if it ever happens.

The beast of the sea represents those first 5 kingdoms of Daniel 2. The NT happened during the 4th kingdom of Rome. The 5th kingdom were the ten toes, not the ten horns.

The stone destroyed the 5th kingdom making way for the 6th head, the one that has been dead. No single nation has covered the 6th Kingdom since the Reformation. Not even the Vatican. The 6th Kingdom is healed by Satan after the Second Coming. That is when 10 kings from 10 seperate nations who are not kings of those nations, but men of interest who bring the 6th kingdom back to life. Revelation 17 explains this.

"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast."

These 10 nations form after every mountain and island/continent are moved out of their places. There is a huge shake up at the 6th Seal, the Second Coming. Symbolically as well as geographically. Because all the physical land boundaries are moved, so are all the nations moved into 10 regions.

Jesus is the 7th kingdom declared at the 7th Trumpet. If there is an 8th kingdom it will last for 42 months, and Satan is in charge.

Those kingdoms apply to Revelation 12, 13, and 17. That beast is the historical reality of world government. And the president of this coalition of 10 kings is the FP. Satan is the second beast described in Revelation 13. The AC is the image brought to life. That is the 3rd Adam. The first Adam brought sin and death into the world. The Second Adam is Jeaus as Messiah and Prince. The 3rd Adam is referred to as the beast by John, but many call that Adam the AC.

No, the term 3rd Adam is not used by John. But like the creation called Frankenstein, this AC is modeled in the likeness of humanity, but still only a beast.

"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months."

The mouth of human government is the FP. Then:

"Saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

Satan is saying to humanity, this 6th kingdom, after the Second Coming, and the 6th kingdom is totally healed, a one world government, but only if allowed by God, "Create this 3rd Adam, and I will give it life." This event is allowed by God as the 8th kingdom that only lasts for 42 months. Then Jesus returns at Armageddon to take back control and reign forever. Satan will be loosed after 1,000 years.

This is a decision God makes in the middle of the week of the 7th Trumpet. The 7th Trumpet starts to sound, then 3.5 days later, Satan is given full authority to set up the 8th kingdom, and that is when this 3rd Adam is constructed. The first King built an image according to His dream. That image represented the first 5 kingdoms. The church has held the 6th kingdom in check, as the mountain that filled the earth. Jesus is the 7 kingdom as pronounced at the 7th Trumpet:

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

That is the 7th kingdom, and also the Millennial Kingdom. But in the midst of the days of the 7th Trumpet, God decides if there is a 42 month extension to the Gospel or not.

That is the wording of Daniel 9:27. That is why John writes Revelation 13. While it is true the 6th kingdom is healed, and alive during the Trumpets and Thunders. The voice of this 6th kingdom, the FP only has power in relation to the sounding of the 7th Trumpet. Satan is active, those 10 horns are active in restoring this one world government. But the FP and the beast are more associated with the 42 months of the 8th kingdom, than being part of the 6th Kingdom. But it would be the FP that people are looking to and those 10 kings without their own kingdoms but with influence to restore life to some normalcy.

This is explained in Revelation 17:

"And there are seven kings (throughout world history) : five are fallen (up until the Reformation), and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space (Satan only gets 42 months). And the beast (Satan) that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition."

There are only 7 heads, but 8 kingdoms. Satan is called the dragon, so is one head. The 7th Kingdom is not part of the dragon or this beast as described in chapters 13 and 17.

Most of those with thoughts on eschatology associate Satan with all of these governments since Babylon and Nebuchadnezzer. And chapter 12 shows this animosity between human government and Israel, especially with Jesus Christ. Now Israel itself has been out of the scene since the Cross. The church has been growing and filling the earth since the Cross. Daniel's portion of the beast ended with the ten toes. The Reformation brought an end to that 5th kingdom. So five are fallen. One is. And one is to come, if God deems it necessary because some of humanity will still respond to the Gospel. Literally those who are beheaded to avoid the mark of the beast. If one no longer has a head, there is no possibility of receiving the mark.

John is not inventing some future scenario that has to happen to usher in the Second Coming. Satan is still a step behind all the action. God will even gather and preempt the 6th kingdom from destroying the budding fig tree.

"For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives."

That sounds like the opening of the 4th, 5th and 6th Seal. Hamas already did a trial run to rape and take citizens of Jerusalem hostage. How much of the city will actually be held prior to the Second Coming is unknown. Certainly, this thief in the night moment will have little to no warning. Except the opening of these Seals, and the events that unfold.

I agree with you, but Jesus still picked out Jonah of all the prophets because there was none other to compare with his success in ministry. Jesus then said that He was greater. A great prophet. And that's the point. Not sure what you're point was.

Jesus picked out the wicked generation of Nineveh who repented, as opposed to His generation that refused to repent. It was not that Jonah was great. It was that repentance is greater than disobedience. Jonah just happened to be the reluctant human to speak God's Word to Nineveh. The point was about Nineveh, not Jonah. Scripture points out Jonah wanted nothing to do with Nineveh repenting, which was the point, Jesus was making, repentance.

"The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas."

Jonah was the most powerful and successful of all OT prophets.
We know next to nothing about Jonah, except that he didn't want to go preach to the Ninevites, and even resented them. But God had ordained for it to happen... and had ordained the success of Jonah's preaching as a means of bringing the Ninevites whom he had chosen unto Himself. What we should see in Jonah's story is that God is sovereign over everything, and that nothing ~ nothing, not even our willingness... or lack thereof, as in Jonah's case... to comply or participate ~ can thwart His purposes. If you mean "powerful and successful" regarding converting souls, well, God does that, not people. He may use people and their words to draw people unto Himself... but He may not.

Right.

If you notice, Jonah seemed to have left out the part to even repent. He was not even a good prophet.
Jonah does not record everything he said. God told him to preach His Word, and presumably, repentance was part of that, probably a very big part, because the call to repentance is a very prominent part of God's Word throughout. And the job of a prophet ~ his function ~ is to relate God's words, and I would say Jonah did that very well. Maybe his heart wasn't quite in the right place, but that would not keep God from using him and his words effectively... :)... if He so chose to do so... :)

All Jonah said was the city would be destroyed in 40 days. That never happened.
Actually, if you read the book of Nahum, you will see happened to Ninevah...

Jonah really did not want these people to live, but literally die in their sins because of how they treated Israel.
Sure. But God had other plans, and... nothing can thwart His purposes. :)

Jonah did not think he was successful.
Eh. Maybe. Really, it was more that he didn't want to be successful... he didn't want his preaching to be used effectively or effectually by God. He didn't want the Ninevites to repent and be saved.

...Jesus still picked out Jonah of all the prophets because there was none other to compare with his success in ministry. Jesus then said that He was greater. A great prophet. And that's the point. Not sure what you're point was.
Wait... didn't you just say that Jonah was "not even a good prophet"? :) Jonah finally did what God told him to do. Begrudgingly, obviously, but he did. Really, it seems to me that Jonah was "picked" at least partially because of his unwillingness. In this way, God's power is shown in him, also, in that no one can really run or hide from God or avoid His purposes.

The point was about Nineveh, not Jonah.
Ah, both. :) And really more about Jonah than Nineveh. Like I said before, we find out what ultimately happened to Nineveh in the book of Nahum.

Grace and peace to you both.

15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
