First off there is no water cult, it is what the Bible and history teaches.

The "cult of Mary", through Jerome, created a poisonous "bible" that teaches that the water cult members are "born again BY Water".

Paul's Gospel of the Grace of God, and the actual word of God, says that the BELIEVER is born again by the Holy Spirit.

So, the "cult of mary" teaches that water is the Holy Spirit, or that the Baal dressed "Priests" have the power to cause the water to become the agent of regeneration.
So, that is Religious Science Fiction..

A lot of these cult members, have died and found out the hard way that water does not wash away your sin.

- You can't be born again in Hell, and Purgatory does not exist.

I understand.
You can't answer the question.
You can only cut and paste someone else's work.

Got it.

Thx.
Already answered-you can't read Hebrew and 1 Cor. 13 should be your constant reminder.
The way we treat each other here-on a Forum-we shall give an account to before Christ Jesus.
The way we not only speaking in a condescendingly manner TO each other-but on an all out attack on members of other denominations.
It is no wonder no one wants to listen to your "scholastic exposition on our brother Paul"

Let me try this..

Paul also wrote..."Christ sent me not to (water baptize)"

Did u ever read that one?
You should, as it can help you understand some context.

Now the original question i asked YOU, .......I'll be more clear.... for you, as maybe i needed to be more direct.

Do YOU, @Johann

= Believe, that a person can go to HEAVEN, be born again,.. be "in Christ".......and never be water baptized.... NOT Ever.

That's the question.

I guess you missed the part that Christ was baptized in water....LOL...and all the other references to water baptisms in the Bible and all the references to water baptisms in early church writings.....and not to mention 2000 years of Christians being baptized in water.

Never once do the scriptures say directly that water baptism is not necessary.

What this really is...is an example how some people can get things so wrong in the face of overwhelming evidence. Why bother reading the Bible if you are going to make up your own rules.

I guess you missed the part about Jesus not needing to be born again.
He was sinless, remember? So, did he need to be SAVED BY WATER (Cult)?

Also, was the CROSS raised when Jesus was water baptized?
So, He had also not died for YOUR SIN yet, on the CROSS.... when He was talking to John The Baptist.

You have to THINK.

Read it slowly or get someone to read it to you but I am not counting on you to get it. Explain it to Christ on Judgment Day! I do not have a lot of patience with silly beliefs

If you believe, as you do, as you were taught by a WATER CULT... that your sin is washed away by water..

Then TELL US..... @Grailhunter ....,.what SINS of THE LORD JESUS THE CHRIST.... were washed away when Jesus was water baptized?

Take your time.

I tell you what I will just copy it here but if you did not understand it from the Bible I don't think you are capable. But how you got in your head that someone was saying that Christ had sins....I will never know....but here it is.....read slowly.

Matthew 3:13-17
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.
16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

What you need to do is find a scripture that specifically says water baptism in not necessary....

And I am sure some would find humor with your description of how spiritual baptism happens and what it looks like.

I tell you what I will just copy it here b

Ok, let me ask again, as you are not answering my question..

Now, people who believe that water saves.... "water washes away your sin"........is that you?
See, im not here to prove that WB is not a part of discipleship, as we are to be water baptized, AFTER WE ARE BORN AGAIN.

I was water baptized 11 yrs after i was born again, and i was called into the Ministry, 4 yrs BEFORE i was water baptized.
There is another member here... PEARL...she was also water baptized years after she was Saved (Born again)..
The dying Thief on the Cross who is in heaven, was NEVER water baptized.

So, here is the ISSUE with ... "water washes away your sin".......= "Jesus was water baptized"..

What sin did Jesus have, that need to be cleansed by water?

That's the question you have to answer, as you are claiming that water is the cleansing power of sin, and told this forum that Jesus was water baptized, as your PROOF that we are to do it, for that reason.

Isn't that TRUE?

So, where are Jesus's SINS, ???????????? that you claim is "water washes away sin" = water baptism.

How does your theology differ from mine?

There is the OT Repentance of Israel.......jewish believers, under the law.
That is a water baptism. That is the "John the Baptist, repent and be baptized".....
However, No one is "In Christ', so that one is for them., not the born again.

After the Cross is Raised, we know... you know... that we get in the water and are immersed, and we come out of the water, symbolically, as the "new life in Christ".

The Water cults, however..... teach that this is what the Catholic Bible teaches in John 3.. that is a "doctrine of Devils"..

A.) The Catholic Bible teaches....>"Born again BY.... water".

See that mistranslation, ?

That is where this...>"sins are washed away by water"... comes from...

No sins are not water soluble. See post 1343 for details

See, im not here to prove that WB is not a part of discipleship, as we are to be water baptized, AFTER WE ARE BORN AGAIN.
I disagree. The concept of born again is connected to being baptized.....it doeesn't just happen to you walking down the road. You are born again due to water Baptism.

Describe how you were saved without water baptism.....

Ok well lets you and I re-write Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, Repent when you get around to it and some time or another be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

So the kid in Sunday school asks.....How are you baptised in the spirit in the name of Jesus Christ?

And do you have to repent to be saved? Or is that optional too?

Does the Bible say you can be saved before Baptism....find where it specifically says that.

The dying Thief on the Cross who is in heaven, was NEVER water baptized.
The scriptures did not say that the thief on the Cross went to Heaven......what do the scriptures say? And no scripture says that Christ went directly to Heaven from the Cross. Your beliefs are not coming from the Bible, you are basing your beliefs on WHAT IFs.

What sin did Jesus have, that need to be cleansed by water?
NO ONE HAS SAID THAT YESHUA HAD SINS THAT NEEDED TO BE CLEANSED.!!!!!
Read the scripture!!!!!! Why was Yeshua baptized? Read the scripture!!!!!

That's the question you have to answer, as you are claiming that water is the cleansing power of sin, and told this forum that Jesus was water baptized, as your PROOF that we are to do it, for that reason.

I have already answered all this.....but you really aught to try reading the Bible.....it will help.

Brother-are you saying or believing in baptismal regeneration?
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

I disagree. The concept of born again is connected to being baptized....

Being born again is LITERALLY connected to = "SPIRITUAL" Baptism.....
As this is the "new creation" by the Holy Spirit, whereby God birth's the spirit of the believer into the Holy Spirit of God.
This is the "washing of regeneration", SPIRITUALLY, as water can't do that for you.
If it could then we'd all be born again, when we took our first BATH or SHOWER.

Water baptism, follows salvation......it does not cause it.

If you read Acts 8, you'll notice that "all that believe are saved"........
Notice that Philip tells the Eunuch that he can get in the water, "If you have BELIEVED with all your heart, = FIRST"..

That is "As many as believe in Jesus.....God gives to THE BELIEVER, the power to become a Son/Daughter, of God".

Yes.

Notice that this story, is true, and its a "FIGURE">.. its symbolic.

Water baptism is SYMBOLIC....... as its a the FIGURE.... its symbolic of being raised in (born again) newness of LIFE". "in Christ".

You stated "baptismal regeneration" and that cult teaching comes from the Catholic bible.

It says in John 3....>"born again, BY... water"

That's where the "water cults' get this "water washes away sin" nonsense., that denies the Cross, and offends the Blood of Jesus..

You need to find all this in the Bible instead of making it up. You keep dodging the facts.

There is no debate here unless you can find where the scriptures specifically says that water baptism is not necessary to be saved.

You also need to find where the scriptures specifically says that you can be saved before water baptism.

Salvation is a process Acts 2:38 describes it......read the Bible.

Please focus....who is saying that sins are washed away?

Water baptism, follows salvation......it does not cause it.

Yes it is a process and belief comes first in that process but still no scripture says you are saved before repentance or water baptism. You are technically saved after the process.
