Don't you care what John meant, or do you think John lost your little word game so God must honor you for sinning, because at least you know you're lying?
Don't you care what John meant?

I am not adding words to what he said, You are

No, EG! If an unregenerate Jew came up and said they were without sin because they kept the Ten Commandments, it is they who would be lying. Only Jesus can take away sin. And the very next verse shows how! REPENT!
So John was an unregenerate Jew? He included himself?

How can I take you serious when you will not acknowledge that fact?

This point I think is hard for us to understand. We look at ourselves as impure and incapable, which is a continuous state. But the Lord implies the priests could wash and cleanse themselves and enter the temple Holy. Jesus emphasised this by talking about what made people impure, and that our hearts needed to be purified and cleansed.

Emotionally we project ourselves as static people who identify a particular way, except the Lord is addressing us as His Holy pure people. For this to be true we must have got something wrong, to continually condemn ourselves even after being cleansed.

The temple and our walk is a promise, the walk has Holiness in it, and if we become unclean, we can repent and be cleansed. Our human culture emphasises class and status which is taken on as if it can be inherited by race, or birth, or our salary, or wealth, or where we live. But God looks are cleansed people, purified Holy people. If this purification was not possible, how could people be anointed with the Holy Spirit and become temples of God.

Part of unbelief is repentance and faith in Jesus and the cleansing of the cross does not purify us as people of the Kingdom. But it takes real faith to see God and the simplicity of this action. Our hearts motivate everything in our lives, and the Lord does change us. Who are we to declare His work is a failure? Who are we to declare what He can achieve or how He looks at us?

What I find hardest to accept is believers declaring the Lord is speaking double speak, or sarcastically, or cannot redeem us truly and lead us exactly in His ways. To declare ourselves perfect would be pride and declaring status, rather than acknowledging it is a walk one step at a time, and everything is always a challenge. Even for Jesus only at the end, when He died on the cross was it finished.

God bless you
I think Jesus tried to show us. The law of Love, or as Paul said seeking after the things of the spirit

I do not go around thinking how sinful I am. nor should we. That's why we have to set the law aside. it can not help us.

but what we should never do. is think we have arrived at a state of sinless perfection. because in my view. if we get there. as John said we are deceived. and we are in trouble.

Law lives within the love of the new covenant. Its not written law anymore. But those with the love of the new covenant would not even consider stealing from their brothers, committing adultery on their mate, having any other God before their face, etc,etc all the way down the line. So law still lives within the love of the new covenant. Sin is lawlessness. 1John 3:4
The law still requires you to be perfect.

Only by being under the law will sin unqualify you for eternal life.

Grave takes us out of there

there is no other state, we are under law (guilty) or we are under grace (guilty but forgiven)

You are WESTERN. John is EASTERN. You need to study to be approved, otherwise you'll stay ignorant of the truth. Then when you come to all the Scriptures that will contradict 1 John 1:8 your character will choose. You choose sin.

Romans Road (Readings)

Reading the word, helps a lot in learning. About 7 chapters in, of Romans, only 9 more to go.

All for the glory of Yahava, and the Son of God/Man, Yeshua the messiah. So important to learn, read, grow and mature.
All for the benefit of others, rather just me myself.

Love to you all, keep beliving having faith, and remember to turn the other cheek,
Matthew

I don't care who anyone is

John said if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and there is no truth in us. We should take him at his word. as written, not add anything to his words.

Be it western or eastern. it still means the same.

Anyone who claims they are at the present time sinless is deceived.

Are people sinless when they allow the spirit of Christ to come forth? Jesus couldnt ever commit sin though he suffered temptations he was without sin.

Therefore those who abide in Christ (John 15) and lean on the spirit dont sin (in that moment) because of the (at one ment), and spirit with in.

The flesh can fail and Paul is clear about that.

He is also clear about how when he was under the law it caused him to sin, how did he sin? He judged others, but was the Law bad? Not its spiritual and good; he would have never learned sin if he was never told “not to covet” but here this made him covet and he died (in his mind/will/emotion), now it is Christ and the Spirit of Christ which he was freed from his former bondage of sin.

And Paul wrote in Romans letter in what wr chapter 12 to have the mind renewed not conformed to this world (the material law written on stones), but to renew ones mind to have the mind if Christ.

But Christ in you could never come out and sin, he fulfilled the law and fulfills the ability by the spirit to love God and love others,

In agape love which is not a feeling: and also the spirit comes best through trials whens you are under direst and trusting in the strength of christ to pull you through.

Its easy to love when everything is going someones way. Its harder when faced with opposition.

Like someone needs a ride and you interact by saying “NO I CANT; DONT YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF DAY I HAVE HAD” and you hang up on them. That is the flesh never the spirit.

Praise be to Yahava and Yeshua.

I have already multiple times, so whats up ?
You’re saying that Jesus only died for a certain amount of believers?

They are the elect?

Those who were chosen before the foundation of the world?

Therefore the rest of humanity, those who are vessels for destruction , will go to hell?

Only the elect are saved?

Jesus only died for them He made righteous Rom 5:19

You keep saying that, you produce one paragraph of scripture...and base everyone’s salvation on that...Jesus said, you must be Born Again to see the Kingdom of God....period, that’s it...nothing more to add.

A person who has been birthed in the Spirit, would know exactly what that means..,...that’s all we need to know....we as ‘Born Again “ are in His Kingdom.....we were supernaturally birthed in the Spirit..which only God can perform that act..it’s a “ Living “ birth..which is carried out by the Holy Spirit.

I would only add that we must continuously abide in Christ, and He in us, which is AWESOME! Its not just a theory, but a continuous experience.

He is stuck on one passage. he has been shown his misrepresentation of that passage.

His fatalistic view gives God a bad name

So you understand what his belief is? What is it? I've asked him and he just repeats the Scripture again for the umpteenth time.

I agree about those practicing sin. I do not commit willful sins once, let alone practice willful sin.

K, the doctrine of sinlessness died when the worldly Roman Church built their first confessionals. The false doctrine that Christians will always sin is heresy, and for some reason has not been taught in the Church since. Wrong is right, and right is wrong. Evil is good and good is evil. This is the time of the falling away in the church. This is why I have so many enemies on the forums. Most are in lukewarm denominations and would rather believe what they teach than what the Bible teaches. Read 1 John 3 and Romans 6.

Jesus came to TAKE AWAY ALL OF OUR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. If we didn't have the power of the Holy Spirit and still had a sin nature, then Jesus DID NOT destroy the works of the devil!. BUT JESUS WON!.

K, in 1977 I actually felt a dark heaviness lift out of my body, and immediately I had no desire to sin. All I wanted to do was read my Bible and learn all I could about Jesus. I've been abiding in Him every sin. What also is wrong that is being taught is we can go in and out of the Spirit. NO!!! Once you have the power of the Holy Spirit you never want to leave Him. I love living in total trust and security in the God of the Universe!!! And He's gives me any gift I want. I have them all, except two. And I have a new one for the last two months that I didn't know about. But once I asked Him for it, when church started, I had it immediately!

I love living in the supernatural and miraculous. I feel sorry for those who think they are living in another covenant that has no Holy Spirit, where they still have to struggle with sin, and all the gifts ceased. How boring. Living in unbelief is not abiding in Jesus. and He certainly isn't abiding in them! They still sin, and Jesus doesn't know them.
Satan and his teachers transform into angels of light( 2 Cor 11:12-15)--99% minimum on earth are mislead. Jesus is not with any religion in buildings called-Church--they teach a false God misleading all into breaking Gods #1 commandment daily. Jesus' 1 religion has unity of thought( all of Gods 1 truth) no division. 1Cor 1:10)--trinity religions all have different truths because they are divided, no unity of thought= a mass of confusion because of a lack of holy spirit.

False and denial of scripture. According to Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

How shall many be made righteous ?
You should read the bible=1540 pages, not 1 line.

Only the repentant who have turned around get sin blotted out-Acts 3:19)--Only those living now to do Jesus' Fathers will, get to enter his kingdom( get grace) Matt 7:21)

but they do it because they are saved not to get saved,

if your teaching they do it to get or keep salvation. Your teaching works.
