Faith that is firmly rooted and established in Christ continues and is not some shallow, temporary belief that has no root, produces no fruit and withers away.

God doesn't give up on calling them back,
So...
Ya know?
So continue to assert that people dont give up, that is not true - "dont lose salvation"
people become faithless.. even after being faithful...
God still cares and loves them

I'll go as far to say that
With Jesus Christ and his victory,
He has saved all people from sin, death, satan, his angels, the beast, the false prophet.
.
However - Those things are a gift of God from the death of Christ and the resurrection and victory of Christ.
Merited free with no need of acceptance it is already there and given.
What is needed though to be saved to the Kingdom of God - and people need encouragement in faith, and to be directed towards the light - of course sometimes people give up - but God doesn't give up on them.
Sometimes we as human beings may give up on them and see them as a lost Cause,
That is not fair to the neighbor.
Though it is ultimately their choice.
Firm rooted believers - can even be done in when they go on the wheel of the Sermon on the mount.
From being high on the chain, to back low on the chain.
It's a cycle and losing salvation happens - but God wants us to look towards him and not give up and keep believing.
Some people go through seasons and tough times, and those who really desire God wont give up even faced with challenges.
But people do lose faith, or lose salvation for other prioties of life.
They can even become even little of faith - but that doesn't merit lose of deliverance but quenching of the spirit.
So therefore - in the case of the subject, can people lose their faith? Yes...

I was recently told by a member here that I have "accepted the mark" and that Jesus is going to make me "suffer" and all because I believe that Jesus will save all of humanity.

Emperors and kings say on elevated throwns and so their servants were "under their feet". 1 Corinthians 15 says that Jesus must rule the kingdom until ALL of his enemies are "under his feet", which is to say that they will have been converted and are following Jesus. That includes Satan and his minions.
You don't believe that God would create Satan only for him to suffer forever, do you? Satan was created to do what he is doing. He too will be transformed.
It's something I never considered before; even with that being said - he is definitely not at work on this earth no more since being cast out, and put through the lake of fire - so those days of his ruling with the title deed to earth is for sure over.
The only thing that remains is what is in the beginning - the separation from Light and Darkness, and that is still shown in the end, Revelation 21-22.
Thank you for sharing some of your enduring insights with me Patrick, they are pretty wild for some to ever consider that being possible, even so the outskirts of a city filled with corrupted houses who desired to be in the cold away from God is also to far fetched for people to believe today as well.
Considering people are suppose to be going to hell, today. Or that people are still laying in their graves waiting to be raised and then be judged ever since 2000 years have already passed.
Many notions of ideas, all come from traditions, that could be or not be true.
That is why deconstruction, and critical thinking, and seeking for truth is needed in any individuals life. If something in ones house is bound to cave in, those things need to be addressed and looked at and spruced up on the firm foundation with Yeshua being the chief cornerstone to really find peace with God in this life. Of course that is subjective to those who desire such things, and those who do not, they have there choice: It's up to us to decide. Will we remind them?

I know many who i went to church with who have lost their faith, well most have in fact.
The reason why is because they were what the Bible calls, of little faith.
The Faith they had did spring up within them but the cares of this world grew up like weeds and choked this faith.
Now i remember having faith in the Bible as well, but i had shadows of doubt in fact, so i asked questions all the time, i needed and was seeking to strengthen my resolve but all i go was just believe back from the rest in the Church.
Well how do i just believe if i truly have doubts. For there were points i needed to resolve for my self as i needed that, to prove too myself, or i could not move forward in fact with faith, i needed solid faith not just belief in what one may say. for i am skeptical of everything and that take everything with a grain of salt until i have proven such is the case.
Now i do believe that the ones who had faith, may still have that flicker of a flame within them, May ? Now i do not blame them ? for it's the weeds grew up and strangled this within them for the cares of this world are the weeds ! but as to saying just believe ? was never good enough for me, but with others that is up to them. but i am not like most people as i do not respond to blind faith.
I grew up to totally hate the RCC, but such hate forced me to seek to expose them and in doing so i found that the Prots were full of a lot of BS regarding the RCC but i found that the people within the RCC were just as the Prots were saying of them in fact !
So something was up, wrong ! Criminal Satanic people were within every Church denomination i found, leading them astray and the thing is such people did not care, Why because they did not seek but only swallowed ? for they want everything given to them ? seeking for yourself is hard work hours a day every day i would read and jot down points that i would ponder on and in time the books of the Bible started coming together making total sense, tho always so interesting to me, that i could not put it down until i could not see the words and just had to go to bed be it may be 3 in the morning maybe, for the zeal and love to read the Bible i was so keen. No other book comes close to the Bible at all, for it is so great !
If someone does not like reading the Bible i would say that they have little faith.
But Bible says that we need to have the faith that can move mountains ! and i totally believe that is a fact, that means one has to be truly born again. It's then that one can not turn ones back on Christ Jesus ever ! because you are as one With him in fact !
Bible points out, Oh ye of little faith, that's not good ! such a one has a problem ? that is an issue ! because such a one will not prevail, for they lack to be Israel. so we seen Jacob become Israel ! why because he was worthy, same with Nathaniel Jesus said so of him ! who he was and what he would see !
Nathaniel is the Key, every Christian should understand Nathaniel. such should be preached in the Church that everyone knows this issue is gold, but they don't for fear it will wake people up. Anti-Christ are in the Churches everywhere and they sure don't like some parts of the Bible to be mentioned at all in fact. because such exposes them in fact. for they are of this world set under delusions and deceptions that's sadly their life ! for the glory is not in Christ Jesus being the Kingdom.
For the worthy Christian is in Christ Jesus first and foremost in your life, because he is the wellspring for everything we can be in God, for that is the foundations our home. outside of this is full of deceptions and delusions of this world, for such has no foundations and one is truly lost in fact.

Right, which technically is never 'complete' (you don't backslide once and for all, you just keep struggling).
But even then, there is hope: if you cleave to the Holy Spirit, you might get a second wind (I'm not saying the second wind is fast, but it is there)

Faith. Many, probably countless hundreds if not millions of prople would say otherwise an would disagree. Along also with the promise of God, and Jesus who promised to cast him out.

Thank you. I see much of the extreme evil occurring daily in society and so I have a different view.
I am sorry someone said that to you, Patrick. None here have the power to condemn others.
Unbelief in Christ condemns ppl to an eternal separation from the kingdom. God alone gives out judgement.
Many will be tried, even those who look for a "supposed" rapture before Satan has his time to put us thru great tribulation.
When the time comes to either starve, let your children starve or be so sick unto death and cannot buy nor get help unless one takes the "mark", then it will be seen ......

You know I do not agree with UR, but I also do not believe in OSAS, election of God against free will, the rapture, annihilation or other of mans doctrine held unto of some here.
Regardless of what I may think of ones discipleship, IF A NAME IS NOT FOUND IN THE BOOK IF LIFE, then God will say which hand to depart unto; not me !

All is understood. I support Justice winning out over evil.
For the past year or so, I have sat down and watched hours and hours, of people who have murdered there families, or murdered random people, listening to them talk in the interrogation room. The last one was the other day, of a female, who had an obession with serial killers, got high with her friend on meth and done very horrible acts.
No real understanding of why there is a sense of enjoyment to listen to the horrible crimes of others, however I suppose it is kind of in our nature, and the part that is important is that Justice is always being served towards those who do evil crimes.
I imagine that - for some having the bible and the way it is taught, they seek the day that Jesus Christ returns - WIPES ALL THE FACES OF EVIL OUT, but each and every single one of us has darkness with-in us and we can be evil towards others, - even without ever putting a knife to a persons neck and murdering them.
People can murder others by gossiping and taking away life,
People can murder others by having hatred and wishing bad things to happen to them,
People can murder because of the hatred and anger of the heart - and say 'that person is dead to me',
and people can also just straight-up murder because of envy and jealousy,
People can randomly decide to murder a crying baby...
So evil in the world exist with-in the aspect of us as human beings, but God is calling people to come and learn of him, if they so desire, speaking in and through nature itself, and also those who are sharing the information of the good news to them.
Everyone has to make their decision - and they can repent and become renewed born again, if they so find they are desiring.
