The problem is people who supposedly have a different interpretation are unable to explain their interpretationBut what you don’t seem to get is, beyond that which is written …and the alleged of going beyond that which is written…is based off an interpretation. Your interpretation. And only yours. There are others here on the board from different denominations, that disagree with the opposite interpretation just as convinced their interpretations are correct. So to me that makes your “I am right” Or “we are right” in your own eyes. Because others would disagree just as convinced they are right in their own eyes. So I’m being genuine that if while reading the word something stands out to me, something speaks to me. Who makes you the authority of truth and nothing but the truth. Who gives you the right as all-knowing to where if it doesn’t fit with your interpretation, then “let us toss it out”as beyond the word of God. I could go on and on with you but I would never be heard, because if it doesn’t fit your perspective…then it has no value to you. But whether or not it has value…isn’t only decided by you. You say we are test the spirits. I acknowledge this too. What if my testing is this is of men and not of God? Am I free to say this to you, the same as you voiced your opinion as being “from another spirit”? Or are you the only one that has that Liberty? Again, I am baffled at how sternly you push “my understanding is all there is”. Or at least that is what I feel like is pushed, which you will most likely disagree. Asking where did you come up with that from? When did I claim to be all-knowing? …by the lines drawn, the boundaries set, as the decider of what is beyond the written word. If it doesn’t fit in this box, then I say it is beyond what is written!
once again, I gave you two passages in the past few days and asked you to explain them. All i got was crickets.
How can we see someone elses interpretation when they will nto even break it down for us?
