It wasn’t the digging and ending up on the other side of the world that bothered me, as much as your asserting this is vanity and the suggesting: what spirit do you think it is of?
Hopefully it was intended to help me. But to me, it was received as criticizing and mocking what I’ve shared of the Spirit helping me. See, you say no none of this has come from Him but is of another spirit.

I assume you take it the same way when epi says anything about what you’ve shared as coming from His Spirit. So apples and oranges?

Sister, it was a caution to not to think beyond or above what is written (as the scripture says).....because to do so is perilous. It's certainly possible that we can dig ourselves in so deep that we miss the mark by going beyond it. It's not for no reason that we are to test the spirits, as the scripture instructs us to.

I don't know how you were raised but it certainly resulted in your not understanding what love is. It is clearly not constantly criticizing others and behaving exactly like the Pharisee in the parable in Luke 18.

You should read that parable and 1 Corinthians 13 slowly and carefully, focusing on what the Bible clearly says about self-righteousness, criticism of other, and especially LOVE.

So I’m being genuine that if while reading the word something stands out to me, something speaks to me. Who makes you the authority of truth and nothing but the truth. Who gives you the right as all-knowing to where if it doesn’t fit with your interpretation, then “let us toss it out”as beyond the word of God. I could go on and on with you but I would never be heard, because if it doesn’t fit your perspective…then it has no value to you. But whether or not it has value…isn’t only decided by you.
