@Jim B isnt blind. How can the blind lead my friend . Even if i were blind , another blind one cannot lead me in the RIGHT WAY
only to the ditch .
my apologies . He cant see .@Jim B isnt blind.
And there is only one way to do that . IN SPIRIT and IN TRUTH .I believe if ewe were legitimate, ewe would be saying worship the Father.
God told David he’d not build Him a house because he was a man of war, and had shed blood.David's tabernacle I believe, but you are going on to broader things that Jesus is not addressing in that particular story about lazarus and the rich man.
Many stand on the WALL that has been daubed with UNTEMPERED morter .Blessings in Christ Jesus amigo de christo. Kinda like an unwalled city that says, "God Bless (this unwalled city) while their backs are turned on The Lord and His ways, while holding abominations, in their left hand, and their right. Unless repentance is heard in this unwalled city, His hand will not be turned back.
I believe she is trying to persuade you to move on to perfection. If God will permit.David's tabernacle I believe, but you are going on to broader things that Jesus is not addressing in that particular story about lazarus and the rich man.
Yet JESUS builds the true heavenly city , the city of GOD wherein GOD and lamb are the temple .God told David he’d not build Him a house because he was a man of war, and had shed blood.
Budda cant lead us to perfection . Muhammed cantI believe she is trying to persuade you to move on to perfection. If God will permit.
Okay, ewe clearly stated who ewe are!Budda cant lead us to perfection . Muhammed cant
man cant . JESUS CAN . IN HIM we will be perfected . FAITH in anyone else is DEATH and leadeth only to
THE SECOND death .
Now you know what i am . A man who will stand on no other name or hope or path , THAN JESUS CHRIST .
You do realize i am a huge obstacle and ones like me , TO yall utopia of world peace and safety .
SO get busy doing what you and yours need to do . I dont fear man or what he can do .
The sooner i am HOME with CHRIST , AMEN . Now you know who and what your dealing with .
A man that is never gonna stop preaching BELIEVE IN JESUS and that all other paths and mindsets are false and lead only
to the lake of fire .
But as i said above , i know where this is all leading too . AND I DONT FEAR IT ONE LITTLE BIT .
Let them do as they must , and no matter the cost to me , I WILL POINT to CHRIST ALONE as the only means to be saved .
Then why bring up what is between them. (If that is broader things that has nothing to do with it? That even those that would pass from here unto there cannot? Why would they pass into torment to get to someone asking for a drop of water for their thirst being in torment? .And neither can you pass, that would “being thirsty), cannot come to us. Luke 16:26David's tabernacle I believe, but you are going on to broader things that Jesus is not addressing in that particular story about lazarus and the rich man.
Perhaps the words I brought should not have been spoken on these boards and they were stopped short. Many stand on the WALL that has been daubed with UNTEMPERED morter .
NOT on the wall of tested and tried truth . ER WORD of GOD is truth .
And the WORD , it truly did become flesh . Too many stand upon the great and high wall
of the delusion of the all inclusion sin embracing and many path accepting LIE .
But lambs stand on the WALL of GOD . And have come to the very foundation the very cornerstone itself
from which all else is BUILT . CHRIST JESUS . all else is vain and winds and doctrines of men which cannot and will not
stand the test but will face collapse and sudden destruction . LIFT THOSE HANDS and let the KING be praised .
He could not pass.. thats not what the parable was about. it was about the great gulf that seperated the 2. so one could not get to the other..Then why bring up what is between them. (If that is broader things that has nothing to do with it? That even those that would pass from here unto there cannot? Why would they pass into torment to get to someone asking for a drop of water for their thirst being in torment? .And neither can you pass, that would “being thirsty), cannot come to us. Luke 16:26
How were they stopped short?Perhaps the words I brought should not have been spoken on these boards and they were stopped short.
? My goodness, let's not overthink this. This is after the rich man (and Lazarus) had died. Don't think there's any coming back from where they ended up when they died, hence the warning that we better get our hearts right with God in this life. The point of parables is always simple, and just needs a little illumination from the Lord......we receive illumination when we're at rest, not when we're wracking our brains and trying to work through rabbit trails. Just receive from Him, and that way too, He gets the glory, not us.I don’t think warning is a dirty word. I used the quotes instead to validate the warning or accentuate it. I guess I should have boldened it instead. The warning to me though is the parable is not to boast our rightness and the “good” side but the warning is to tear down boasting in-between. The rich man begs for a drop of water to quench his thirst. We quote it. Jesus Christs’ own words with men it impossible for a rich man to enter in but with God nothing is impossible. We can say the point is the rich man can’t enter. Or that with God all things are possible. The parable about the foolish and the wise. Also a warning in my opinion. The wise say “nay. There is not enough for me and you.” Christ says “wake up you who sleep. I will give you Light.” No boasting in it. Every one and any one who asks for light…never does he say “Nay, there is not enough for me and you.”
Isaiah 58:12 And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places: you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you (Christ) shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Well it was too late for the rich man to be reconciled to God after he had died, I'm afraid. I'm not going down your rabbit trails sister. Been there done that and discovered Jesus wasn't in it. We are to take our thoughts CAPTIVE to the obedience of Christ. Not go beyond what is written. There is a reason why eating fruit from the Tree of KNOWLEDGE leads to a downfall...."ye shall be as gods, KNOWING....."“I mean repairing the breach just isn't the lesson that it is illustrating.”
Reconciling is every thing.
David's tabernacle was not a Temple. And also that verse is talking about rebuilding David's dynasty, according to what the Lord had promised, ie, having a son/descendant of his back on the throne of Israel.God told David he’d not build Him a house because he was a man of war, and had shed blood.
Jesus was showing that after one dies it's too late...there is no bridge between heaven and hell. Appointed unto man but once to die and then the judgment. Luke 16:26
Still to me it speaks of the repairer of the breach. I’m not saying you have to agree. You say rabbit holes. To me rabbit holes lead to dead ends. (Well not you but y’all seem to agree) I will ask you one thing though. Did He repair the breach? Did He remove the chasm? Yes. Or No?? My goodness, let's not overthink this. This is after the rich man (and Lazarus) had died.
