You need to have a convo with the person here who hasn't sinned for 2,000 years...

I’m so thankful that the scriptures helps us identify folks…

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil” (1 John 3:9-10)

The confusion comes in when you try to synthesize a doctrine or an understanding based on the bible while still walking in the power of the flesh.
Hence, we need the prophet and the apostle. One who has at least gone in and out of the Kingdom…

Paul is extremely difficult. He’s like calculus to me. Or physics. Rocket science.

This that he says makes me think, oh, so I am not a child of God yet.…
Hes very difficult.

And all Protestants follow Luther...otherwise they wouldn't be Protestant.
That is an incorrect statement. All Protestants do not follow Luther. There were several Reformers at that time,. and Luther was only one of them. Secondly, all non-Catholics are not automatically "Protestants". The Protestants were either (a) Reformed , (b) Presbyterian, (c) Lutheran, or (d) Anglican. The Calvinists and Puritans were Presbyterians. But there were many Bible-believing Christians outside these groups, and as a matter of fact the Reformers even persecuted and killed some of them.

The prophets and apostles are embeddd in the Bible. What they have written down is sufficient. The book of Revelation shuts the door to any more prophecies or prophets. So what we now have are false prophets. The same applies to the apostles. There are only TWELVE APOSTLES of the Lamb in the book of Revelation. That shuts the door to any more apostles. So you are merely fantasizing, not paying attention to Scripture.

Paul is extremely difficult. He’s like calculus to me.

Only the things he wrote regarding the day of the Lord. That’s the context of the scripture you seem to cite:

“As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood” (2 Peter 3:16)

What things?

These:

“…the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:10)

Similar to the book of Revelation, in which there are things hard to be understood there as well…

I have no idea what you just said or tried to convey but “accepted” and walking in newness of life/having given up your life to be found in Christs life are two different things. Completely different really.
With the first, you will die and need to be resurrected. With the second, you have entered life and won’t die….
whew, it’s difficult.

Well you are disagreeing with Scripture. So you do have a problem. Just go to the book of Revelation and understand that the apostles and prophets will not appear any longer. All you will see are false apostles and false prophets, e.g. Joseph Smith.
I’m disagreeing with your interpretation of scripture. That’s all that can be said for sure.

That's an old and tired dodge.
How do you know what kind of car I drive…?

It’s a 2003 Ford F150. :p

Go ahead, give me a stern talking to. If it makes you happy, why not? But you will still be certain and I will still be searching it out.

When a topic honors not Christ its always about one owns self . as for me , i am gonna point to CHRIST .
Lift those hands up my friend . JESUS is our hope and our salvation .
We know when its not centered on Christ the person is not speaking by the Holy Spirit but the flesh. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will bear witness of Him, testify about Him and glorify Him. John 15:26 , John 16:14.

Anytime the gospel is laid out on any topic, there is will be an inevitable reference to a deeper understanding that just isn't there for most people. So then the nursery begins to fill with tantrums and accusations and self-righteous statements to cover the superficiality of the grasp of the truth...while others will grow mute. Diapers get filled and there is a need to pay attention to the egos of those who need to rant, go off topic, and generally create a fracas to draw attention to themselves. Regardless, the beliefs that are excruciatingly drawn out are a smorgasbord of every possible misunderstanding of the bible...without any glimmer of a chance to improve knowledge on the subject.

So far we have established that one poster already died to sin 2,000 years ago.

Another is reckoning harder and harder to come to a place of victory.

Still another is waiting "to die unto sin once". Does that mean to overcome at least one sin or die to sin at least once? Maybe the person thought "once and for all" ????

Reading skills and communications skills aside, there is still a lot to discover in this regard. I am not a social worker and I have never worked in a daycare, so I may be at a disadvantage when it comes to meeting the needs of the various egos. But I do hold out the truth for those interested in AT LEAST considering the possibility that what they have learned or thought up is lacking in either some or major part.

What we see in Romans 6 through 8 is a progression...from an initial experience of grace that changes a person forever to a surrendered walk in the full measure of grace over sin, the devil and the world. That initial sample will seem, at first, to be the whole package....until one realizes that there is still sin in the outer man that is both active and detrimental to spiritual growth in the inner man. The life from Christ contained in the inner man is thus choked out by the outer man (where the ego resides and where the sin nature has its foundation).

In Romans 7 Paul cries out to God...he realizes that there is nothing he can do about his own condition. His outer man continues to filter out the connection to God and the deeper connection to other brothers IN Christ. Who shall rescue him? It is Christ the Lord who comes to him. The power of God crucifies his outer man thus liberating his inner man to walk in victory over sin. Paul can THEN say I am crucified with Christ...and not have to reckon it only.

Romans 8 explains the power of the law of Christ to nullify the power of sin the way the law of flight overcomes the law of gravity. So then a Spirit empowered life fulfills the law of God so that eternal fruit can be produced to the glory of God. The cost of that full measure of grace is all we have and are. We are to take our "aravon" our down-payment...and fulfill our obligations at the throne of grace to get the measure of God's fulness. The victorious walk IN Christ begins when we are crucified...dead...and made alive IN Christ.

Whether we are walking in our own power or by resurrection power we ought to do all to be at least be accepted by the Lord. So whether we are present or absent we do what is acceptable to Him....and that's where the need to learn righteousness comes in. We are to reckon ourselves as being dead to sin when we are not actually crucified dead to sin.

That is the quick short version. :)
