While you were yet His enemy, you were reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. So you are correct, you do not have the option of "offer up His suffering", or some such thing as that.

Your option is either to receive His reconciliation or not.

Much love!
You put yourself in the place of God thinking the initiative lies with you. No humility or fear of the Lord here....only judgment to come.

Jesus is not YOUR sacrifice for sins. You don't get to offer up His suffering for your benefit. God decides who is justified.

Its as if the DEVIL is in your mouth and posts, Episkopos.

You just posted that Jesus is not my, or our, sacrifice for our sins.
So then Deceiver , what is Jesus doing on the Cross dying for them?

Episkopos..... according to your Threads, Videos, and posts.....You are a radical blasphemer..., a hyper Calvinist, who is a Christ insulting , Cross denying,.... enemy of God's Grace.

The trick is to be accepted by God and taken up to abide in Christ.
You receive sound, biblical advice from the members, but you don't want to receive correction, there is no "trick" whatsoever.
As a teacher of the Scriptures, don't you think it is advisable to listen to others BEFORE you post anything or making YouTube video's?
If you can't receive correction here, wait till you deal with real scholars, born from above scholars in a debate.

It really would appear you are a one man band with a crooked message there for the world to see, instead of rejecting correction, welcome and embrace it Epi, the members are loving you and lovingly steering you in the right direction, don't react to advice, respond in a cordially manner.

Go ahead and follow other believers. You love to be mollycoddled...I don't. I follow Christ. If you didn't compromise with the flesh so much...you might even be able to hear the truth in what I say. But the flesh is against the Spirit. So you will not understand what I'm saying.

Wait a minute, did you say he is a hyper Calvinist? Something like regeneration precedes faith? Do you have any evidence for that Behold?

This is your judgment of me. Let's keep things real.

You see yourself as the one who approves and rejects others, is that right? That you've been "visited" by God, and now you are His visitation of others? Episkopos?

Much love!

Did you ever see a movie , from the '80's Titled. 'The Boy Who Could Fly"?

Its one of my favorite movies.
Its just sweet....... I really love this movie.
I think i'll watch it again for about the 10 times, this weekend.

Well, that "boy" is a "predestined elect" Hyper Calvinist., and i have dealt with him, after he was and adult.
These people believe that "God chooses some" for Heaven, and Chooses others for Hell.

= 'Pre-destined elect" Hyper Calvinism Theology.

So, there are "buzz words" and phrases that tip you off regarding these people.

Here is one... """God decides who is justified...not people."...

See that? That is....>"its not faith that God accepts, its GOD CHOOSES WHOM HE WILL"...... and Episkopos just wrote..."""God decides who is justified...not people.""""

But it is PEOPLE who choose Christ......that is freewill, and God then Justified us based on our FAITH.
We took Jesus and God took us.

So, if this person is not a hyper calvinist, He is welcome to explain what "... """"God decides who is justified...not people."""

And if he can explain that as "God's Grace" that is the Gift of Salvation, then i will DELETE what i wrote.
Of course.

2 Corinthians 5:16-21 KJV
16) Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Even being His enemy, God reconciled you to Himself in Christ, and now you are being urged, be reconciled to God.

These are the Scriptures, you will either believe or not.

Much love!

If I want to, I will pin your back against a wall very quickly, with Scriptures or in any language you want, but that would not be Christ like, I don't "follow" others believers, they are family, brothers and sisters IN/ev Christ, remember...you yourself said there is no such thing as being IN Christ, contrary to what stands written.

Rom_12:5 So we, being many,
are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Rom_16:3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers
in Christ Jesus:

Don't need help?

1Co_1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth,
to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

1Co_1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

2Co_2:17
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Who is corrupting the word of God to the point it is not even
recognizable?

Maybe you should read Isaiah 53 in Hebrew, a shocker, what our Lord really endured on that Cross, for you, and me

If you still don't want to listen, release your prisoners Epi.

One of the worst Heretics ive ever encountered on a "christian" forum, was this self righteous fool named "GIDEON".

He had this story, that he would tell, that was designed to impress you and deceive you thereby, ... and the story was..that "GOD visited me in my room".
So, i would watch this Religious fanatic, who could write beautifully, go from Forum to Forum, including this one, with that "God" Story.
And i would watch the forum females just fall down and obsess on Him.
Saw this over and over.

What i would do is remind Him that GOD the Father, does not leave Heaven.. He sends Jesus, and Angels, and the Holy Spirit.

So, this Liar, always offered that "God came to me" story, and he would have most the women on a forum as his defense and guard, just ranting on his behalf.
Eventually he would make some mistakes about the Cross and about Calvinism, .... both teaching against the Cross and blaspheming it, and after a time, the Mods would wake up and he was gone....again...........sent to the next Forum.

A compromise with the flesh is a compromise of light and darkness. One does not justify the flesh. One goes to God to have it crucified. That is the pathway to the higher walk. That is the truth that sets us free.
Absolutely. Good thing I and others are not trying to justify the flesh then.

It's true, though, God does decide who He will and will not justify, and He's told us the criteria He has sovereignly chosen. He justifies the one who believes in Him, who receives Him. And He's invited all, and He's not a liar!

Much love!

yes, but God does not force you to believe... as that is the "hyper calvinist'.... "God chooses"..= Calvinism.
Also, God does not keep you from believing as these people teach.

Whereas the correct understanding is John 3:16.. The Cross is offered to "as many as will come".. "to all who will believe".... "For God so loved the WORLD"........not just the "predestined elect" who were force to believe, having no free will.

Calvinism is the heresy that God knowing who will be saved, before YOU were born, means He chose you to do it, and you had no option, and if you never choose Christ its because God would not allow it.

I remember his time here. It was essentially the same message. "I've had a vision/visitation/experience and now I'm here to tell you, the cross isn't enough, His grace isn't enough, and unless you make yourself good enough for Him, you're out!"

We can see the fruit of that teaching, it's readily apparent.

Much love!

That teaching that God has chosen some to be saved and some to be list goes directly against plainly stated Scriptures, and directly denies the Gospel brought to us through Jesus.

"And if I be lifted up - crucified - I will draw all men to myself." We have to receive, that's on us. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men . . .

Much love!

I see this described in the term prevenient grace. Grace given that allows us to choose whether or not we will believe in Him. "The grace of God unto salvation has appeared to all men", "He is the true light that enlightens every man", He brings this offer of salvation to every one of us.

Much love!

Yes, that's the one.

He basically comes to forums to try to teach that everyone is sinful, off the path, corrupted, and he is the light back to real Christianity.
He would say that God personally delivered, a message for Him alone.... for the entire body of Christ, which is..."all of you are carnal, and God told me to tell you how to get right".
Same as Episkopos......a sort of "anti-Paul" theology "teacher".
Sound familar?
And He would always leave out the Cross, the blood of Jesus, the gift of salvation, and of course the Grace of God was to send you to go back to Law-keeping He would rant.
