Absent from the BODY, means the departing OF Gods Life OUT of the Body.
A Bodily Living man WITH God, has the understanding, Once his body DIES, and Gods LIFE departs his body, Gods LIFE WILL Continue TO BE WITH God.

Why give your opinion when you are admittedly unsure (twice you used the term “IF”) and unwilling to learn the “THEN”, (which occurs after the “IF”)

Just like all Christians Be, born again ones have to remain faithful until death to be acquitted of sin. God grants them immortality upon their resurrection. Not a big point, but we need not think that because someone is born again, that guarantees their salvation, because several have failed. The only bad thing is they cannot be redeemed once they turn away from God. As I understand it, they sin against the holy spirit if they commit a serious sin, since they are anointed by holy spirit. I could very well be in error on this however, as I am not too well read on this topic. The Bible is vague about it. I really don't understand why they are granted immortality.

A Dead Body, is no longer called A PERSON.

Soul simply means breathing creature, animals, humans are souls since they are breathing creatures. All souls go to the same place upon death, like you said they are simply dead. Ecc 3:19,20

Bob, mankind is created with a body of flesh, and a spirit that gives life to the body, and together mankind is a living soul. While it is true that the body of all mankind is destined to die, we read also from Ecc that the spirit in man, that which gives life to the body returns to God who gave it.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 (KJV) Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

In this we understand that all life (spirit) comes from God. That isn't true only of the physical body of man, but also the spiritual life that mankind receives from God through His Spirit when man is born again. Just as God gives life to our body through our natural spirit, so too God makes man Spiritually alive through His Spirit in us when we believe. Our spirit must be made alive because Scripture tells us before we are born again of the Spirit, we are dead in trespasses and sins. The natural spirit becomes enlightened by the Spirit in us, so that we might know the things and ways of God as we live out our physical lives on this earth.

Even though our physical body is destined to death, the spirit that gives all mankind life returns to God. For the man who has never been born again and dies without the life-giving Spirit of God in them, his natural, human spirit returns to God without life. Since Christ assures us the life we receive through His Spirit in us when we are born again through faith, our spirit continues to have life through His Spirit, and no longer having a living body, our spirit returns to God alive, a living (spirit) soul. Because our human body cannot continue to live without our spirit giving life, but the spirit of humans indwelt by the Holy Spirit will return to God alive, and shall never die.

A person is a soul, an animal is a soul, all breathing creatures are souls sir, even when the breath of life goes out, they are still referred to as souls. Look it up, a the term soul simply means breathing creature. Nothing lives on after death, satan promoted that, and many people continue to promote it, but God states very clearly that we die, and defines what death is as well.

A living, breathing creature is called a living soul Bob. How does the living soul have physical life? (Gn. 2:7) Souls can only be alive when the breath of life, called a 'spirit' remains in them. (Jo 6:63) When the physical body of all living creatures succumbs to death, it is because the spirit that gave them life returned to God, who gave it (Ec. 12:7). What happens to the 'spirit' within man when it returns to God indwelt with the Holy Spirit? (Jo 14:16) Does not Scripture tell us the Holy Spirit gives man eternal life? How is man's life through the Holy Spirit eternal if death means we are no longer living souls?

The FORMED man-KIND of Creature RECEIVES a soul INTO the man.
The FORMED animal-KIND of Creature RECEIVES a soul INTO the animal.

The FORMED man-KIND of Creature’s LIFE is CALLED BLOOD.
The FORMED animal-KIND of Creature’s LIFE is CALLED BLOOD.

The SOUL IS Gods, The LIFE IN the Soul, is CALLED Gods BREATH.

* The man-KIND of Creature, With his LIVING BLOOD Life IN his BODY;
With Gods LIVING SOUL LIFE IN his Body; is CALLED a “PERSON”.

* The animal-KIND of Creature, With His LIVING BLOOD Life IN its BODY;
With Gods LIVING SOUL LIFE IN its Body; is CALLED an “ANIMAL”.

* A Man-KIND of creature, CALLED a Person;
WHOSE Living Soul Has Departed OUT of his BODY, IS no LONGER called:
A Person. BECAUSE his LIVING SOUL, is NO longer, IN his Body.
His BODY IS DEAD.

* Living SOULS....IN A mans BODY....or OUT OF a mans BODY....ARE STILL CALLED.....SOULS.

* Dead Body’s KNOW nothing, FEEL nothing.

* REST IN PEACE....is a prayer for HOPE of
the DEAD BODY’S, Departed Living SOUL, IS RESTING IN PEACE WITH GOD
rather than the alternative....
of the DEAD BODY”S, Departed Living SOUL, IN CHAOS WITHOUT God.

* Death of a BODY....means the BLOOD LIFE of the BODY has Ceased.
(blood can drain out of the body, the heart can stop pumping the blood throughout the body....and the body will Die....and begin rotting, Returning to Dust of the Earth.)

* The Living SOUL IN a Body...SHALL depart that DYING Body.
The LIFE IN the SOUL (Gods BREATH) continues LIVING...
WITH God, “Escorted to Heaven” to BE WITH God.

(Sent BY the power of God)

* Separation FROM God...physical or spiritual...is called DEAD, whether or not the “separated THING has LIVE IN it”.

God states VERY CLEARLY...His Created creatures with BLOOD LIFE, SHALL DIE.

The SOUL may or may not LIVE forever.
The SOUL “WITH” God SHALL Live forever...
The SOUL “WITHOUT” God SHALL Forever BE Separated FROM God.

The Judgement and Sentencing OF ALL LIVING SOULS, (in or out of Body’s) has NOT YET come to pass.

Man-KIND IS a formed BODY, of DUST.
Man-KIND receives INTO his BODY, a SOUL from God, with Gods Breath of Life.
Man-KIND “can” also receive INTO his BODY, Gods SEED, to birth a man A Spiritual Spirit.

The “WHOLE” of a man-KIND of creature....IS
The body of man.....become made glorified.
The soul of man.......become made restored, called saved.
The spirit of man......become made quickened, called born again.

ALL, the body, the soul, the spirit OF man, become MADE “changed”,
BY the Power of God.
The “changing”, by the Power of God....is a man’s guarantee....
That the WHOLE of that man...body, soul, spirit...SHALL LIVE FOREVER...
WITH God.

Created bodies of every living creature upon the earth became a 'living soul' when the spirit from God (breath of life) is breathed into them. Without both flesh and spirit, no breathing creature upon the earth is a living soul. Without a spirit in them every created creature upon the earth would be a DEAD soul, not a living soul. Which is what the body of man would have remained if God had not given them a spirit by His own breath of life (Spirit). You confuse soul as spirit. Though similar they are not the same, as you make them. It becomes confusing because when a man is indwelt by the Holy Spirit when they are born again of the Spirit, man continues to be a living soul after the body dies. But the man who dies without the Spirit in them, becomes a dead soul. Because every spirit in man returns to God who gave it (Ec. 12:7) when our body dies. The one dying without the life-giving Spirit of God in them, returns to God without life. Only the man indwelt by the Spirit of God continues to be a living soul with spiritual life through the Spirit in them.

The breath of life that came from the Creator given man is defined as - divine inspiration, intellect. or (concretely) an animal:—blast, (that) breath(-eth), inspiration, soul, spirit.

This intellect comes through our mind, that equips man with divine inspiration that means man understands the supernatural force that enables man to both know and have a relationship with the Creator. The breath of life from the Creator Spirit, is defined both soul, and spirit because the spirit life in man can continue to be alive after the body dies if man dies in faith. Because only the faithful, all who have been born again, possess the Spirit from Christ. Since the life man receives through the Spirit from Christ in them is eternal, our spirit can never die. In death our spirit being alive through the Spirit from Christ leaves our mortal dead body, and ascends to heaven a spiritual body, also a living soul.

When man disobeyed God, the breath of life man possessed through the Creator was lost forever, and man's spirit became without ability or understanding to live forever with God. Man lost what he had received through the Spirit from the Creator, became like that which was created (the serpent), therefore, now natural, no longer with the ability to have a relationship with the Creator. For without His divine inspiration, man's spiritual ability to commune with God is lost forever. Man became as spiritually dead through sin, and that's why man must be born again of the Spirit to have eternal life and once more be able to commune and live with God forever.
