I think God wants me to give you Word, and truth.

That's a far cry from dozens of verses from the Bible, all loosely connected.

Jesus didn't say "the Holy Spirit will quote you ten scriptures about sin, ten about righteousness and ten about judgment" - He said your "righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and pharisees".

I have a Bible, actually 3, so that by reading several versions I can get a better idea what was really said, cancelling out some possible mistranslations or other errors. Anything that looks unclear, or anything that's especially important, I read in all 3 versions. Mostly, there's not much difference.
I was raised in a family that went to church, but it was only as a social convention. Since then some things have happened that actually turned my skeptical mind into a Christian one, but over time my skeptical mind comes back with alternative explanations. I've also had a Christian tell me that those things were not from God. Aren't you supposed to "know them by their fruits"? Isn't anything that makes me love God either from God, or at least allowed by God?
The times that I've been a Christian were the most rewarding times of my life. The skeptical mind wants proof, but of course even I believe, or at least live, some things without proof. And there's more to me than the skeptical mind. There's the part that wants a fuller life.

Bereshis (in the Beginning) was the Dvar Hashem [YESHAYAH 55:11; BERESHIS 1:1], and the Dvar Hashem was agav (along with) Hashem [MISHLE 8:30; 30:4], and the Dvar Hashem was nothing less, by nature, than Elohim! [Psa 56:11(10); Yn 17:5; Rev. 19:13]
But I think the Jesus is God and the Triune Godhead is closed, a rule, so why bring this up?

I’m not your brother, Jesus is elohim, and neither his elohim nor mine is the Trinity.

But I think the Jesus is God …

I think Jesus is God but not in the same way you do.

…. and the Triune Godhead is closed, a rule, so why bring this up?

I’m more interested in discussing Jesus‘ God / my God than I am in discussing the Trinity / your God, but I’m open to discussing both - with anyone and everyone - in this forum.

I no longer have posting privileges in forums designated as “Christian only”. (I’m perfectly fine with that, having volunteered it.) My Christianity is primitive / Ante-Nicene, not Nicene, and isn’t considered “Christian” by definition and policy of Christianity Board. I’m a Christian. (In fact, a licensed Christian minister - by the Church of God General Conference, headquartered in McDonough, Georgia.) In the eyes of Christianity Board policy makers (and many of the members here), I’m not a Christian. What I am in their eyes is of little importance to me. This is a win-win solution.

My own personal rule on internet discussion forums is that if it can’t be said in public then it shouldn’t be said at all. It’s a general rule. I‘ve used pm’s occasionally and had some bad experiences with it. (A person telling others that I said something in private which I hadn’t in fact said.) I’d rather be transparent in my conversations, but if it’s a matter of urgency I have made exceptions.

It appears to me that @LookingForGod is open to looking anywhere and everywhere in his search for God. I cordially invite him to look for God in the Church of God. I hope he asks questions everywhere his search takes him.

A belief is a thought, believed… like “lie” & “sun”. There are not these things, there are these thoughts, believed and not believed… that there are these things.
