How strange that Jesus wasn’t part of a ‘triune godhead’ until almost 400 years after he died.

The RCC adopted the trinity from pagan concepts.....ones that Israel were forbidden to imitate. (Exodus 20:3)
The Jews NEVER believed in a trinity of ‘gods’ because that is NOT what God’s word teaches.
Deuteronomy 6:4 was the Jewish Shema.....something to be often repeated to remind Israel NOT to adopt pagan concepts. Their God was “ONE”....not three. Multiplicities of gods was never in the Jewish mindset.

The fool’s errand is trying to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear....:doldrums:
I'm not even sure what's going on with this post.

On the one hand, you're preaching to the choir about the falsehood of the trinity (which is interesting being that you're Catholic), but on the other hand your tone is one of having made some contrary point.

What is your contrary point? That Jesus is not God?

Not at all my friends. I just read chapter 1 from the perspective of his stated purpose of his gospel, which is to prove something ELSE other than what you are using it for.

The mystical dualists like you, don't think there is anything wrong with re-purposing John's words.
I guess the joke's on you as usual then because apparently you're the Mystical Dolt. Errr whatever.

John's purpose for nearly the last 2 millennia has been to make plain that The Word is Jesus Christ. It is a modern twist on things to claim that it teaches otherwise.

Guess it's you doing the re-purposing.

Shocker.

And you just pluck verses yourself to try defend your stance on faith, which you can't know it all, some of that takes sheer faith without knowing anything.
The Bible explains itself if you just let it....it never contradicts itself....yet Christendom's doctrines contradict it completely.

Jesus did not come to introduce a new God and a new religion.....he came to re-institute the proper worship of his Father among his own people first, because the Pharisees had steered the Jews off the correct path and onto accepting the false traditions of men. What did Jesus say...?

Matthew 15:7-9...
"You hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about you when he said: 8 This people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. 9 It is in vain that they keep worshipping me, for they teach commands of men as doctrines.’”

So if the "church" that we belong to is teaching 'the commands of men as doctrines' then our 'worship is in vain' as well. We have to have the proof that what we believe is correct and in accord with ALL that the scriptures teach.....it is God's word after all. That will unite these ones who will all believe and teach the same things, (1 Corinthians 1:10) unlike Christendom who can believe and preach from the pulpit, pretty much whatever they wish.

Faith is not the same as belief.....you can believe something that is not true and no amount of faith will make it true.
We all need to study the Bible carefully under the guidance of those who teach what is correct....we will know them by their fruits....because they will be the ones promoting sound doctrines that find full support in the scriptures. That means that in their beliefs and conduct they will be living their "Christianity" 24/7....not just once a week in church.

Perhaps you are confusing me with someone else...?
I am not remotely Catholic...and anything that was invented by the RCC has been thrown out unceremoniously....

I think I do mix you up with another here.

So what is your contrary point, though? Cause it sounded like you were saying everything I already agree with.

:jest: I think @Jack in the only one who does :Laughingoutloud: maybe he is a KH member?
You're not JW? Do JW's ever admit they've been brainwashed at Kingdom Hall?

I'm not JW. I'm a Bible believing Chistian. Jesus is God and Hell fire is "everlasting" as Jesus said. Kingdom Hall lies like Satan! That's why Satan's children love convincing others that Hell is not eternal.

Lol, I’m not a member of that group. If anything they have more in common with you.

Do you care to try an answer why one must be born of God. You actually did really well with naming Jesus as his first born?

Everything except perhaps the deity of Christ.....I do not accept that Jesus is Almighty God incarnate. He prayed to his Father in heaven and God sent angels to minister to him on the night of his arrest. If God was on earth...who was in heaven? To Israel, Yahweh was ONE, not two or three.

If the Almighty is immortal and cannot die...how can he become a mortal who did?
God cannot change...he is what he has always been.
Yahweh did not need to become a human to rescue the human race....all he needed to do was send his most trust son to fulfill that mission, which he willingly did. Jesus as "the last Adam" undid what the first Adam did to all his children.

Calling Jesus "theos" in no way makes him his Father's equal....that would violate the First Commandment.
"Theos" in Greek has a different meaning to that which Christendom gives it.

That's a LIE!

Because Hell fire awaits those who are not.

Another LIE!

Revelation 21 all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, ...

Says Kingdom Hall's messenger!

I know this question SCARES the Hell out of JW's, but is Kingdom Hall ever wrong?

Did God tell you you had to accept Him, to save you from what he would do to you if you didn’t?
Yes He did. Hell fire is awaiting unbelievers. Your question sounds like it's from an unbeliever. Are you seeking? Jesus is the ONLY Savior. He is God.

Avoid Kingdom Hall like the Satanic plague that it is, leading people to "everlasting fire".

I don't need a drawn out hard yoke understanding of what faith is, to me its Find All In The Heart is all I need.
I certainly can see through the compiling and projections, the additions and the words says alot. You posted three verses and one link, the rest is gibberish.

Is that your response to everything that's put to you? Nothing scares the "hell" out of us because we don't believe in it....
You accuse everyone of being brainwashed by the Kingdom Hall.....but you know what.....?

We all know that you secretly admire JW's and wish that you could openly go to the Kingdom Hall to take in the wonderful knowledge that is shared there....but it wouldn't look good to the others.......we get it....come out of the closet Jack....break the shackles and free your mind of that nasty brainwashing from Christendom......there is no hell.....and Jesus isn't God...you know that's true.
hihihi

Aside from the scriptures, the gibberish was the important part BET.....but if your faith is blind shouldn't you be wearing sunglasses?
