Did Jesus testify only with his mouth? Should we?It was to declare the good news of the Kingdom of God. What points found in Jesus' message do you particularly enjoy?
Did Jesus testify only with his mouth? Should we?
Consider also the words spoken here:
"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." John 4:34
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." John 19:30
But then consider this...
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Heb 12:2
Did Jesus actually finish the work in each of us on the cross... or did he open the Way so that we would be able to do it?

Not trying to argue my friend. Simply where I am. Have a good day in Him!I am not really sure what you are asking Amad, but I know you realize that we do not have to die so that others can be redeemed. So that one sacrifice took care of that. We however do have an assignment, the same main reason Jesus was sent, to declare the good news of the Kingdom of God until it reaches the ends of the earth Mat 28:19,20; 24:14. And even in that the assignment was given to his born again followers, those of the covenant. Most of us are judged on what we do to support Jesus' brothers in their assignment. Mat 25:40
Yes we primarily make testimony with our mouths, however our conduct plays a big part as well sir. Jesus said his disciples would be known by their fruits; their teachings, and their conduct identify them.

Jesus' MAIN WORK was to die on the cross in order to defeat death and the devil, which is an idea that is actually written in Hebrews 2:14 and 1 John 3:8.
Thank you Amad, you too my friend. All of us are a work in progress that is why we continue learning and growing to maturity. Each and every seed of truth we take in moves us down the path toward life. Not trying to argue my friend. Simply where I am. Have a good day in Him!
Main work? Dying on the Cross for the sin of the world.
What Points in Jesus teaching do i find most enjoyable? ? That He Gives Eternal Life to all who Believe and redeems them from all sin.
Hi Davy, and yes sir that is very true, but I said main work. When Jesus said the reason he was sent to declare the good news of the Kingdom, I believe him sir.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 4:17 (John the Baptist also told us this), "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."It was to declare the good news of the Kingdom of God. What points found in Jesus' message do you particularly enjoy?
I guess many are too lazy to even look up the Hebrews 2 and 1 John 3:8 Scripture I referenced...
Heb 2:14-15
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
KJV
1 John 3:8
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
KJV
Jesus was ordained to be born in the flesh of woman in order to die on the cross, so as to defeat death and the works of the devil. And BY THAT is how He offered those who believe on Him eternal life.
And that... was... His MAIN WORK He came to earth to do, as written there.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 4:17 (John the Baptist also told us this), "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
Most people don't understand what this means. I believe it means that if we repent, we will have peace of mind. We don't have to wait.
If you cannot believe Jesus sir, who can you believe?: (Luke 4:43) . . .But he said to them: “I must also declare the good news of the Kingdom of God to other cities, because for this I was sent.”
