Boy, you’re soo messed up in the head that I’m amazed at my self for continuing this outrageous debate with you. SIGH… where to start…

My faith is in God period.... I don't need the Bible to stay connected to God

nor do I need it to remind me what I should do to become saved and inherit eternal life...

Neither of witch is given by the Bible itself...

But you need the Bible for these things:

For your learning (Romans 15:4).

To be fully equipped and perfect (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

It is you faith and the way you live your life ..

And the Bible tells you how to live your life in Christ.

No professional in any industry gets one training session in their whole career. They get refresher training too!

So basically you are limiting the power of God by saying that you need the Bible to tell you how to live and that God Himself cannot do it without scripture???

Acts 9:8 "And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus."

Are you serious?

“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” (Acts 9:3-4)

You interpret this as an act of sleeping??!!

Hey, @True Faith , how would you know how to conduct church and appoint leaders without a Bible?

By faith only with no Bible?

How would you prove biblical doctrine without a Bible to reference? Do you suppose it’s better for everyone to just trust your memory of the Bible?

That is a mistake on my part. I was thinking of John... I do apologize for that... The text shows that Paul did not have a Bible when Jesus spoke to him but you will not focus on that...

Well how to run a church is easy... As long as you speak the truth then you have nothing to worry about... God appointments the leaders of the church we do not...

So basically you are limiting the power of God by saying that you need the Bible to tell you how to live and that God Himself cannot do it without scripture???

“These things write I unto thee… that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” (1 Timothy 3:14-15)

The Apostle Paul himself wrote scripture for instruction for the church.

Even Paul, an inspired writer who saw Christ, didn’t tell his followers that they didn’t need any writings.

Yet here comes @True Faith with some advice that’s better than Paul!

Have you lost your mind?

So are you not going to answer the other question I asked???

What “truth” without the Bible?

Does this “god” of yours tell you things on demand?

God appointments the leaders of the church we do not...

Really?!

“And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.” (Acts 14:23)

and what does inspired mean???

Moved or animated by, or as by, a supernatural influence; affected by divine inspiration; as, the inspired prophets; the inspired writers.

because if it were a letter given to Paul to give to that church, then it would be the Word of God, it is inspired not Given

Paul wrote the letter by inspiration from God. It’s the word of God. Paul wrote the commandments of God.

“If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 14:37)

So Paul lied when he wrote the following?

“…the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 14:37)

“Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.” (Galatians 1:20)

Did Peter lie to us?

“…account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” (2 Peter 3:15-16)

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21)

Yes. It is an INSPIRED letter.

That letter is part of the Bible we have today.
Peter in his epistle bellow affirms Paul’s letters are scripture. And we see the unstable false faith denies it.

2 Peter 3:15-16
just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
