no actually that doesn't explain it.. it is not a dilemma at all... it wasn't anything that said you had to choose one or the other, you see you did not actually read the OP because the OP gave actual meaning to the question... so without using the bible explain how it is both a dilemma and how it is false...
Ok, let’s try again.

Without a doubt the most important question you will ever be asked in your Christian Life...

Is your faith in the Bible or is it in God?
No, my faith is not in EITHER the Bible OR in God.

(What follows below is false irrelevant drivel that seeks to turn a simple “yes/no” question into a Logical Fallacy.)
If you have to use the Bible to validate your faith, then your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you Believe that the Bible supports a Triune God, your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you believe Jesus was God Himself, your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you believe that God will not talk to you, then your faith is in the Bible and not God.
(See my earlier post for a definition of the Logical Fallacy of “False Dilemma”.)
When you post comments and quote them, please post the entire post and not just bits and pieces.
I know hardly any of you will do that because cherry picking is your way of hiding from the truth...

well based upon what has happened already I was not far off... people are predictable to say the least...
Those walking in the ways of the flesh certainly are predictable. However, one following the Spirit, in even a measure, is then in that measure like God, is he not?

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD" Isaiah 55:8

Why do you require this? What exactly do you have against the Bible? You keep making negative comments about it; why is that?

I asked that question because the very question that was asked of me on Jan 17, 2013 at 5:30 am was "Is your Faith in me or the Bible?"....

the only person was my wife laying next to me... I lived a quarter mile from anyone and my dogs would have woken me up...

the voice was a mail voice...

So it is not me who requires the answer because the question is not mine... it did prove a point though, the faith of the vast majority is in the bible and not in God...

and it shows because no one can speak for themselves about their faith in God, not one person has been able to put the Bible down and explain how their faith is in God and not the Bible...

actually that is wrong... I have encountered one person thus far...

read the second to the last paragraph Post #193
Per your request, I have quoted the entire post!

Now, let the fun begin!

Is it the most important questionI will be asked? No. It barely registers as a valid one. See, if I tell my wife in a letter that I love her, how's silly would it be for someone to ask my wife if she believes me or the letter I wrote? Same with your question. If you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God, then that's another story.

Do I need to validate my faith with the Bible? Validate it?!?! To who?!?! The answer is no! The only one who need be concerned with my faith is God! He knows the strength or weakness of it.

Faith doesn't come by reading the Bible anyway... That is, according to the Bible.

I don't believe in the trinity theory, but I do believe that Jesus was God in the flesh.

Do I believe God talks to me? Yes! In many ways! Through a preacher, through the letter he wrote to me, maybe through angels unaware, dreams maybe. Sometimes he talks to me without saying a word, but just taking action. For example, he once talked to me by giving me a flat tire. That was his way of saying, "It's not time to leave yet!"

So yes, God talks to me all the time! But I sense strangely, that's not what you mean. I get a sense of hostility from you for the Bible, as if you don't trust it and you have found something better.

I wonder what that could be.

and yet they claim the Bible is the Word of God and no not read it as such because they ignore all the possibilities...

I do wonder how many will actually read this with understanding...
I have been on Internet Christian forums for 20 years and the answer I see is no longer surprising... I still too often find myself described by those words I quoted from Jeremiah. We do need to be led, but by whom?

the vast majority of Christians have their faith in the Bible and not in God because they thing the Bible is God Himself.... but then they go on to say that it is the "Inspired word of God" there by making it not God's word at all..

Not one of them will ever be able to show that the Bible is eternal life, but they will show you where it is the way to attain it..

you miss the whole point... Let me ask you this one question... How do you know that God does not talk to people??? and I do not want you to use the Bible at all...

and yes you do actually have to answer the question...

I will get to your other questions in a second...
you mean right here??? try actually quoting the whole thing instead of just the parts you want read
