I've seen you guys post verse after verse in a desperate effort to support your man-made doctrine of Sola Scriptura - yet NONE of those beautifuol verses mentions a thing about this fallacy.

It's as bad as trying to use the Parable of the Prodigal Son to support abortion . . .

This is beyond wrong in both cases!

The Bible is the infallible Word of God. The teachings of men, particularly Catholic priests, that are in addition to or in conflict with Scripture, are simply their invention. Sola scriptura!

Your statement about the parable of the prodigal son, aside from being a non-sequitur, is simply irrational!

LOL There is no desperation to prove anything to you.
It is more than obvious you are your biggest fan and the majority either ignore you and disagree with you.

No one is shocked at your anti-Scripture rhetoric or mystified why you carry on and on and on. Years of indoctrination and brain washing is very effective.

The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the largest Christian church, with 1.3 billion baptised Catholics worldwide as of 2019.

source: wikipedia

The main differences between Roman Catholics and Catholics are that Roman Catholics form the major Christian group, and Catholics are only a small group of the Christian community, also called as “Greek Orthodox.” It is believed that when Christianity started, only one church was followed.

If any of the many creeds and churches out there are no good, it's our duty to walk rather than go up the spout with them..:)
"He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm" (Proverbs 13:20)
"Bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33)

"If you hang around with losers you become a loser"- Donald Trump
Bad men do NOT equal bad Church.
Are you forgetting that Jesus chose Judas, whom He called a "devil" (John 6:71)?

True faith requires us to look beyond those bad men whom Jesus warned would arise from within His followers (Matt. 7:15-20).

Do you see Mary, a pope, or human priest in what Jesus said:
copyChkboxOff.gif
Jhn 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.
This is an empty a statement as me asking YOU if you see Sola Scriptura in a bowl of ice cream.

One has NOTHING too do with the other.

Catholic splintering schisms...
“Liturgical Rites” simply reveals they have Different distinct liturgical, theological, canonical, and or traditions, and the Catholic Church despite their differences allows them to call themselves Catholic.

...Yielding and toe stepping over the line is financially and clout numbers in the tally of congregates Advantageous. Not a big secret.
ONLY to those ignorant of all things Catholic - like YOU.

A Liturgical Rite is largley a a matter of cultural difference - NOT doctrinal.
Do your homework before making these kinds of idiotic statements . . .

So you believe trusting and following mans traditions are better than trusting and following God’s word( scripture), got ya.
Nope.
I believe in ACTUALLY trusting in Scripture and not just pretending to, like you Sola Scripturists.

Scripture tells us that Jesus gave final earthly Authority to His CHURCH - not to Scipture itself (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, John 20:21-23).

He told them that the Holy Spirit would guide His Church to ALL Truth (John 16:12-15).

He told the leaders of His Church that whoever lietend to or rejected THEM listed to HIM and the ONE who sent Him (Luke 10:16).

NOWHERE does the Bible call these "men's traditions" . . .

FYI, the RCC was begun in Rome in 325 ad by a Roman emperor so why would you be offended when others refer to your cult as the Roman Catholic Church ?
Then produce the document.
The Romans were STICKLERS for dociments and Decrees. If you can't - you're just another anti-Catholic liar . . .

FIRST century Bishop, Ignatius of Antioch, a lifelong student of the Apostle John wrote the following about the Cathollic Church at the berginning of the 2nd century on his way to martyrdom in Rome:
Ignatius of Antioch
Follow your bishop, every one of you, as obediently as Jesus Christ followed the Father. Obey your clergy too as you would the apostles; give your deacons the same reverence that you would to a command of God. Make sure that no step affecting the Church is ever taken by anyone without the bishop’s sanction. The sole Eucharist you should consider valid is one that is celebrated by the bishop himself, or by some person authorized by him. Where the bishop is to be seen, there let all his people be; just as, wherever Jesus Christ is present, there is the Catholic Church (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 107]).

Then, can you answer some of them - because they were asked of YOU.

How about just the first two, for starters . . .
How can we know what is scripture?
How can we know what is not scripture?

Well know they were not asked of me. They were asked of someone else. But as you chimed in on what I , happy trails, and thee faith were discussing, why don't you take a crack at some of them.

Have you never heard of the Great Western Schism when there were 3 popes at the same time and everyone of them had their own college of cardinals ? Now the question is which one had apostolic succession ? The lie if apostolic succession has only fooled those who don’t know your cults history.

Lol, there was no Roman Catholic Church in 107 AD.

Do you believe Jesus lied in John 14:6 when He said the only to the Father was through Him ?
Nope - not at ALL
Do YOU believe Jesus lied when He compared His very SELF with His Church to Saul on the Road to Damascus?

Acts 9:4-5
And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting ME?”
And he said, “Who are YOU, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

Saul was persecuting His CHURCH - yet Jesus equated Himself with His Church.

Do YOU believe that Paul lied when He calls the Church - the FULLNESS of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23)?
