Wonder why they couldn't take care of her after Jesus died. Why Mary couldn't just live with her adult children? That would need explaining

Nothing indicates at the time of Jesus’ bodily death, any of Mary’s children were Converted in Christ Jesus believers.

Jesus, all knowing, knew John as well as Mary would be Converted.
Stands to reason, Jesus wanted Mary to be cared for, according to Gods Word, by someone who Believed AND did Gods Word.

do you believe the doctrine of the “Bible alone”?
You should at least learn what a "doctrine" actually teaches before attempting to refute it. Now stop beating on that poor "strawman" of your own creation, because you are completely misrepresenting "Sola Scriptura".

We believe that the word of God, and only the word of God, has authority for determining "dogma". Traditions of men, however old and whomever they may have met, are not equal to [and certainly NEVER supersede] the word of God handed down in the Bible. Only THE BIBLE is qualified to correct and interpret difficult passages in the Bible. No man claiming to wear the underwear of Saint Peter has the authority to overwrite the word of God.

That is the "Sola" (only or alone) "Scriptura" (Scripture or Bible) of the Reformation. Tradition is useful, but it is secondary and inferior to the inspired word of God (not equal and never superior).

you’re not!
You can fall away
Reject and deny Christ
Become an apostate

2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

THAT is a LIE.
Believers can Fall Away.
Converted can NEVER Fall Away.

Do you NOT know the Difference between a Believer and a Converted man?

Do you NOT know WHY a Believer CAN FALL AWAY, but a Converted man can NEVER FALL AWAY?

How long have you been in your Catholic Church?
Has your Catholic Church NEVER taught you the Difference?

wife spouse does not equal
Sex
For the sake of our salvation a higher good they sacrificed sex a lower good

Wife spouse equals ONE.
SEX is the express way to multiply.

You hold Mary up on a pedestal WHILE having her NOT obeying God, to become one with her husband and multiply.

As I said before, while desperately trying to MAKE Mary what she was NOT, in the process you MAKE Mary disobedient to Gods Word.

Shameful.

GOOD, man-made traditions mimic Gods Goodness.
If you were dying, and wanted someone you loved cared for according to your word and beliefs....

Hey, pick the neighbor drunk...or sibling who does not believe Gods Word....surely do not BURDEN a fellow believer....cuz you already know how selfish fellow believers ARE....eh?

What a burden, to care for a fellow believer...
Was she mentally ill, physically handicapped? Couldn’t walk, couldn’t pick a tomato from the garden and feed herself?
Was she homeless?
Stands to reason John was not a 24-7 caretaker. But rather making sure she had a man to help her with decisions and home maintenance and comfort.

John was a faithful servant of Jesus.
Mary at that time was not a virgin.
Jesus trusted John to over see Marys affairs, decisions, etc.

Peter was a Jew yes but it refers to Christ and his vicar which is peter

I repeat, "Matthew 16:23, " But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.

So according to you, Jesus handed control of the church to a man whom he called "Satan" and did not have his mind on God’s interests, but on man’s? No wonder your Catholic doctrine is so screwed up!!!

So, by your logic, Jesus was 110% right when He said that the Catholic denomination is focused on man's interests!

You are projecting your modern mind onto people of antiquity. Entirely different culture and mindset. All these gymnastics would not go unexplained.
All because you insist That the womb that Incarnated God was not Holy.

You're all over the place! Why don't you just believe Jesus gave Peter the keys to His Kingdom?

Clueless! John and Jesus were not related; John is not Mary's oldest son. Matthew 13:55, "Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary? And aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?" No mention of John!

Where does it say that Mary is John’s spiritual mother? Chapter and verse, please.

Now you understand the purpose of man made tradition.

By your tradition there would be Christian shelters housing converts. That would be happening if the person who bore the Savior as a virgin.was that weak in faith
