Good post.
You are guaranteed your salvation indeed, as long as your core is untouchable by unbelief.

The born again are kept as "made righteous", having become "the righteousness of God in Christ".
This is the end result of God accepting your faith in Christ, one time.
You dont have to keep believing, regarding being born again, and you can't ever stop being born again.

She's not paying attention to what you post.
She just sits there with her Orphan verses, waiting for chance to post them over and over.
It's why she's here.

50 ..."Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Luke 7:50
Call it Ferris Bueller 101 if you want, we mean it exactly the way Jesus means it.

No Cross risen yet, in your verse .
And that person is not born again., which means they have no Holy Spirit in them.

So, you have to learn how to rightly divide the word, and that is a bit above your ability, as you've proven.

But Christ believed and said that not doing Good Deeds will send you to Hell.

Christ never said anything like that.
You make up your own bible, as all liars will do this....

Listen, If doing good deeds can't send you to heaven, then not doing them can't send you to hell.

The only reason a person goes to hell, is because they died, never being born again.

The born again are kept as "made righteous", having become "the righteousness of God in Christ"

“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:7-8)

Well, here is the thing.
Until God forgives your sin, you are a SINNER, and you are going to hell.
So, there is no way for a sinner to "doeth righteousness".....as "all have sinned and fallen short".

So, how do you DO Righteousness, when you can't be righteous, as you are a sinner?

Ahh...
So, the verse is not talking about you doing your works...or good deeds, or keeping commandments.
The verse is talking about you doing the WORK OF GOD< which would cause you to become Righteous...... and that is why the verse says, you become righteous as GOD (he) is Righteous.
So, How do you, A SINNER.... become the righteousness of God, as the verse is talking about, Michiah- Imia ????

You have to do the "work of God".
And what is that ??

Jesus said...."The work of God.....is that you believe on Jesus, whom God Sent". John 6:29

If you never do, if you are never born again... then you never "doeth righteousness", and you remain, "OF the Devil", your verse teaches you, and you will die and go to Hell.

You dont have to keep believing
Yes, you do have to keep believing in order to be saved:

"2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:2
And here's the context so you won't deceive anybody into thinking "you have believed in vain" means "you didn't really believe in the first place"...

14And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith.
17And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
Hebrews 15:14-17

Ha, lol. I knew you'd play the 'OT vs. NT' card.

I guess we can conclude, then, that before the cross people were in fact saved by faith, faith being their savior, but just not now this side of the cross, right?

You know, it's okay to have an opinion about doctrinal matters as we're all growing up into the knowledge of the truth, but you and BB have gone way beyond that and are obviously knowingly denying the truths of scripture that are being shown to you. You're doing the work of demons, deceitfully telling people that they are born again who really aren't born again at all.

Yes, you do have to keep believing in order to be saved:

You have to be born again, to be saved.
Faith is counted as righteousness, ONE TIME, and God gives you the new birth.
So, He has accepted your faith.
He does not need to keep accepting it, anymore then a real believer needs to keep being born again and again.

Ferris Bueller, I realize that this is all rocket science written in Latin to you, as you have no idea what it means to be "in Christ", as you are trying to get there, as long as you hold unto your faith, while the born again are already there, because God has already accepted our Faith.
Proof?
1.) born again
2.) ""Seated in heavenly places in Christ""
3.) "As Jesus is, so are the born again"
4.) "Heirs of God"
5.)"Joint heirs with Jesus."

Do you see all that?
Not yet. ??
However, That is what has happened to the born agian, not because we try to keep believing, but because God has already accepted the Faith of a Believer.

The Believer, has COMPLETED the work of God........>"The work of God is that you believe in Jesus, whom God Sent".
When you do, God gives you a new birth and from then on, God is faithful to complete your salvation, not you.

Do you read?

Let me give you some theological advice.

Learn that the NT< has symbolic, allegorical, and literal verses, andParables, in it.
A Parable is a story, its not a doctrine, Tho some can be contextual.
So, never try to force a symbolic verse to be a Literal verse .

So, sheep and goats, tares and wheat, etc..... branches......candlesticks...
This is all symbolic, and is deeply meaningful, but you can't make doctrine out of the symbolic or the allegorical.
If you do that, you are inventing doctrine instead of rightly dividing the word.

Rest assured that that the only people who go to Heaven, are not the people that do good works.
But only the People that God has made Righteous, though the blood and death of Christ on the Cross, end up in heaven.

There are no born again in Hell.
There are no Christ rejectors in Heaven.

You are familiar with the "Lambs book of Life", i assume?
So, for your name to be in there is not dependent on you being good or doing good works.
But is only dependent on you being "made Righteous" = Born again.

The reason you know very little about the NT, and never learn anything here on the forum, is because you have been indoctrinated negatively regarding anything related to the Gospel of the Grace of God, and this prevents you.
You are literally prevented from learning any Truth.

Let me show you how this happened to you.

Read Hebrews 13:9.
Its tells you that if you do not build your faith and theology upon the Grace of God, which is what Paul refers to as the understanding of "MY Gospel", then a cult, or someone from a cult will trap your mind with demonic doctrine, and keep you tied up in religion....in bondage to it.
And that has happened to you.
This is why you can't hear, yet you read. You can't understand, yet you argue.

Good Deeds and the Shinning Light of the Scriptures can defeat all that is Evil

Matthew 25:31-46
The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

I have never met anyone on the forum that believes that Good Deeds are what saves you. But people will twist it and say they do. What kind of person is that? But Christ believed and said that not doing Good Deeds will send you to Hell.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan
On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

“You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

In these two parables that were spoken by Christ Himself we see that Good Deeds are a reflection of the Spirit of Christ.

Matthew 5:16
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Colossians 3:17
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

James 4:17
Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

James 2:26
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

Hebrews 10:24
and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,

Titus 2:7-8
in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

Titus 3:14
Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.

James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

James 2:14-17
What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

3rd John 1:11
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.

James 2:24
You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

1 Timothy 6:18
Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

Hebrews 13:16
And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Galatians 6:10
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

John 5:28-29
Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

Luke 3:11
And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”

I have a lot of experience with Paul's teaching, and with teaching it.

Are you associated with what most here on this forum, consider to be a Cult?......not including Catholic.

Ya that is not what fertile mind means.....
It means a brain made of manure

The text is 95% scripture but I understand you do not believe Christ is smart. He has to be stupid from your perspective, He is promoting be good and do good.

So what are the odds that I would come to a Christian forum and have to defend against those that believed that sin and sin some more is the Christian way. Is that sad....or crazy....or just the evil that walks among us.
