You know repeating the same thing over and over doesn't make it any less wrong. Do you care to actually engage with my posts or are you just going to parrot the same nonsense over and over?

I repeat myself when you ignore what I say.

Do you deny that God chooses GOOD THINGS. To say God chose YOU as a sinner, is to say that God chose a BAD THING......

God didn't chose any sinner. God chose His sinless Son. Your mistake is clear.

That doesn't answer the question. The question is not how, it is why.

Listen. I know what the end of that answer is for a Calvinist. I heard it decades ago. "Why" is nothing more to you that the "Good Pleasure of His Will".....

Yet, you say that God takes pleasure in choosing sinful things.

Why would God need the favor of God? The question is nonsensical. Do you not believe Jesus IS God?

Jesus Christ became flesh and dwelt among us. Did you forget the Incarnation? The Hypostatic Union?

Did Jesus Christ Incarnate merit the favor of God in the Atonement?

God takes pleasure in redeeming his creation. Making them good again. That's the piece you miss and ignore. He cleans us, justifies us, saves us.

That is "double talk" from you. If you really believed this, then you wouldn't arbitrarily claim election in yourself to the exclusion of your fellowman that is just like you.

Jesus did not give up his divine nature. He is God. So we are talking about the merit of Christ, it literally has no bearing on what we are discussing.

I'm not arbitrarily claiming anything. What makes you think that it is me saying that I am chosen and someone else is not. I am not saying that, that is a strawman argument. That is what GOD said. Some are vessels of wrath, some are vessels of mercy.

It is amazing how you claim I'm repeating myself and yet you're giving different answers to my questions.....

You're reluctantly having to deal with the choices of your theology.
LOL I'm not reluctantly doing anything. You are the one that has yet to make one accurate claim regarding reformed theology.

Divine Nature is Intrinsic value. To say the Incarnation has no "bearing" on what we are discussing is ridiculous. I'm sure you want to avoid this fact at all cost. You are devaluing Jesus Christ and replacing His wonderous position with your sinful self.

To be clear. Calvin was nothing more than a carnal man.
We all are. Nobody has claimed otherwise.

A man far too young and inexperienced to write anything about God. Much less publish something you're extoling as being equal with Truth.
Representative of the Truth, solidly based in it. Sure, God's Word is God's Word, and nothing else is. And... God can use any man (or woman), regardless of age, or level of intellect, or any other human characteristic or limitation.

Grace and peace to you.

No. That is not what God said. That is what Calvin said and you're following Calvin. Not God.

God can do anything. That doesn't mean He did what you're claiming. False Equivalence on your part.
