Back at work and it's 1.20am. Everyone is sleeping so I'm gonna spend some time in prayer. :)
Wow you work the late shift. It's 6:35am here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm just working on physics puzzles. And waiting for Mass to come online today.

I'm doing good quitting tobacco so far, stir crazy though. I went to the grocery store and bought some food. Food prices went up again. I'm going to run out of money this month.

I finished my stepson's and our tax returns and sent them out Priority Mail so there would be a tracking number in case they got lost. The one year I tried e-filing, both State and Federal returns disappeared into the ether, and come November, we got one of those threatening (but polite) shakedown letters from Uncle Sam. I don't want to go through that ever again.
My stepson had to write a check for $1 USD to the state of North Carolina. We spent $15 USD to send it Priority Mail.

At least April has only 30 days.
Another plus for quitting smoking - you'll save a lot of money. (But don't eat it all up in food.)
I'm really looking forward to the extra money. The tobacco has been draining me of money for the past 12 years. Too long. I blame the gov for that for taxing the heck out of tobacco. But I really shouldn't become a slave to the tobacco anyways.

It's anti-gov school programming. The gov makes a ton of money off of tobacco and other sins.

Sin taxes are supposed to be financial incentives to stop doing what you know you shouldn’t be doing anyway.
In NC, the government runs the liquor stores. They also have a monopoly on gambling (the state lottery). I’ll ask my buddy in Colorado how they handle weed sales out there.
Is that what they told you? Well sure, the gov will have to tax you're gambling earnings, cause it will give you cancer of the brain?
