Right, thus they must believe then be baptized per Mark 16:16.There are no unbelievers that are saved EVER!!!!
You need to place your faith in the Savior God and not the water god.Phillip in Acts understood Mark 16:16.
He required the eunuch to believe before baptism.
Modernists require belief OR unbelief before baptism?
Is this how they process unbelievers getting baptized per Mark 16:16?
Jesus had not died yet.If water baptism is absolutely required for salvation, then why did Jesus not mention it in the following verses? (3:15,16,18; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26).
What is the ONE requirement that Jesus mentions 9 different times in each of these complete statements? *BELIEVES. *What happened to baptism? *Hermeneutics.
Acts 2:38 represents a water god to you?You need to place your faith in the Savior God and not the water god.
They did not believe?LOL!! Who does not know that millions of unbelievers have been baptized just to please their mothers, girl friends, and such ??? Think!
So you are saying that prior to acts 2:38, baptism was not required for salvation but afterwards it is?Jesus had not died yet.
Acts 2:38 was the fulfillment of the great commission.
Prior to his death, they were not required to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of the sins.
The testator had to die to institute the New Testament.
You are stuck in the wrong Testament.
I am saying that Acts 2:38 was the official NT requirement for salvation. So you are saying that prior to acts 2:38, baptism was not required for salvation but afterwards it is?
John the Baptist was prior to the death of Jesus and in Mark 1:4, we read that he was preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
So was John’s baptism for “in order to obtain” the remission of sins in contradiction to your argument or was his baptism for “in regards to/on the basis of” remission of sins receive upon repentance?
Trusting in plain ordinary H2O to save you over trusting in Jesus Christ alone to save you is trusting in a water god. You need to trust exclusively in the Savior God to save you through faith in Him. Faith in H20 does not save. You remain deceived.Acts 2:38 represents a water god to you?
Okay, is Jesus' name a name god?
You still don't get it Dan.Trusting in plain ordinary H2O to save you over trusting in Jesus Christ alone to save you is trusting in a water god. You need to trust exclusively in the Savior God to save you through faith in Him. Faith in H20 does not save. You remain deceived.
Now you sound like a Oneness Penecostal. You still don't get it Dan.
It is not the water, but the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST invoked while in the water.
That is how our sins are remitted...by invoking the name of the very person we all murdered while in the water.
This justifies Jesus.
I am not.Now you sound like a Oneness Penecostal.
Multiple false religions and cults would agree with your interpretation of Acts 2:38. Can you say, “red flag?”I am not.
However, they got it right concerning Acts 2:38.
Tongues follows the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Would Peter agree with this?...Multiple false religions and cults would agree with your interpretation of Acts 2:38. Can you say, “red flag?”
Wait...Jesus never spoke in tongues, and you'll note this if you read a New Testament.
Also, being born again, this spiritual birth, is not caused by water, and water is not required.
Here is what God requires to give you the new birth...(Born again)
= "The will of God is that you BELIEVE on Jesus.....whom GOD sent'.<<
"all that call on the name of Jesus, shall be SAVED"..."Saved" = born again spiritually.
Jesus said..>"all that believe in me, i give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish".
Now what is missing in all that?
A.) Water.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.Multiple false religions and cults would agree with your interpretation of Acts 2:38. Can you say, “red flag?”
Wait...
Jesus never spoke in tongues..correct.
Those that Jesus entered into spoke in tongues.
This happened at Pentecost(Acts 2).
