I guess God was not finished using it yet. Perhaps He thought we all needed a rest from such a place and such things.

Something may have broken... but it was not you that did it!
Not sure, I watch a lot of TV on the computer since I have health problems.
Perhaps not the computer itself so much as on the frivolous things! What is important to God? How much of "our" time really belongs to Him?

@Ziggy It's a means, not an end in itself; good to keep in touch with friends and family; and encourage one another, especially with the Scriptures...Shows me how much friends and family matter, even if it is through a computer.

In my world, outside of this monitor, I have my dad and my daughter.
My world is quiet and small.
If I wasn't here, I would be down to once a week call with my daughter, and a nightly check in call with my dad.
That's my real world.
Here...
Wide open spaces..
electric company just showed up. They will be transferring the main power from one building to another.
It could take up to 4 hours to get the power and water back on.
Ofcourse they had to pick the coldest day. I think it's 0 degrees here in Maine this morning.
So , I'll be back as soon as I can.
