Whoa! Not much point in The ALL-Sufficient BLOOD Of Christ, Nor:Every one of us has things we could lose that we didn't earn.
GRACE (UNmerited Favor!) Of God! He "died in VAIN," eh?
God's Simple Will!

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."Salvation is not a REWARD. It is a GIFT.
when you or anyone claims salvation is a reward. Immediately red flags should go up
"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."see there yu go once again calling eternal life a PRIZE. or a reward.
Those are rewards"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."
James 1:12
You must endure. If you do not endure, you do not receive the reward, the prize, of the crown.
The context of this passage is the tribulation period. The great tribulation Jesu spoke of. He is speaking of enduring till the end when Christ returns, If you do this, Your physical life will be saved."But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
Matthew 24:13
He who does not EARN through endurance, will not RECEIVE THE REWARD, THE PRIZE, of being saved.
Very interesting to note in this verse that Jesus is telling us you do not receive salvation until the very end. That coincides with all the other scriptures that imply that we must do something in order to, at the end of our lives, be rewarded.
Paul says (paraphrasing), "I don't consider myself to have attained salvation, I'm not yet perfected, I will keep striving for the victory."
Are Christians not in a battle, EG? Do Christians not partake in spiritual WARFARE?
Fight the good fight?
Wrestle against the enemies?
If so, what are we fighting for? If we can't possibly lose, what are we fighting for?
Hint: If you're not in regular spiritual warfare, battling every day for your faith, then there's your problem right there. The enemy doesn't attack and harass those who are unsaved. So, in that case, you'd be right - you can't lose something you never had to begin with.

Um,.. take another look at what you quoted, genius. It's a Crown of LIFE. Coffee not kick in yet?Eternally Grateful said:Those are rewards
Eternal life is a gift.
Please learn the difference
Well, there's a reference there to Matthew 10:22 which says the same thing and the context there is not the Trib period.Eternally Grateful said:The context of this passage is the tribulation period. You can overrule the objection all you want. It does not make it realUm,.. take another look at what you quoted, genius. It's a Crown of LIFE. Coffee not kick in yet?

Objection overruled.
And how did Jesus say we ingest that Bread of Life?Jesus said he came to give the bread of life, whoever eats that bread will never die, live forever. And has eternal life.
The contrast between the regenerated and the unregenerated person regarding constant or habitual sinning is clearly seen in 1 John 3:9.
The believer, we learn, does not have the sin habit. Neither do the redeemed defiantly continue in sin.
However, the OSAS people admit to continual sin, claiming they are always saved. I notice you say you are washed in the blood of the Lamb. That does not compute with 1 John 3.
Those who admit to continual sinning cannot be among the redeemed, because as 1 John 3:9 reminds us, "Whoever is born of God cannot sin.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV)
Note that SOME were washed, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God, The SOME here are the totality of all believers whom God has chosen, elected, and predestined to salvation in eternity past, [Jesus is the Lamb slain] before the foundation of the world.
To God Be The Glory
That applies to everyone, even Adam. The problem is we get entangled in sin and lose our salvation. Take the Israelite nation as an example.FINALLY!!! Someone who gets it!! I was starting to lose all hope. Chosen, elected, predestined…. Beautiful. You wouldnt by chance happen to be a presbyterian, would you?

God Love us all, and we should Be Very Careful what we label His Sound Doctrine,
eh?

So you’re saying the Holy Spirit will leave you every time you sin??
Read up on the branches that were cut off. In the meantime, thousands of Jews have been condemned to eternal destruction for hundreds of years. This is why we need to remain faithful "all the days of our life." Paul understands this conflict between our carnal nature and our spiritual nature when he says In Rom 7:24 "What an unhappy man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is taking me to death?" The answer in verse 25 is, "Thanks be to God, who does this through our Lord Jesus Christ!"this makes no sense. How can you lose a gift from God??? Once you are justified (saved) you begin sanctification from the Holy Spirit. So you’re saying the Holy Spirit will leave you every time you sin??
Basically all false religions and cults that claim to be Christian and teach salvation by works strongly disagree with OSAS which has always been a major red flag for me.actually, if you look at all the worlds religions. NOSAS (the belief that salvation must be earned and can be lost) is the most popular belief, Be it Islam, Judaism, Mormanism, Catholicism etc etc.(the list goes on and on)
True faith believers who solely rely on Christ to save them according to their faith is the narrow Gate.
nice try though
In regards to Matthew 7:22-23, these many people were not genuine believers who believed in Christ unto salvation. (John 3:18) Jesus NEVER knew them which means they were NEVER saved. And clearly they were believers and doing many works in God's name. They were shocked to discover they were being rejected by Him.

The Holy Spirit may not leave you every time you sin, but He is offended. James 3:2this makes no sense. How can you lose a gift from God??? Once you are justified (saved) you begin sanctification from the Holy Spirit. So you’re saying the Holy Spirit will leave you every time you sin??
