Appreciate it, Ferris. :) I didn't feel the need to answer because I was more concerned about him. Most people here know my spiritual frame of mind. I think our guest doesn't fall under the same category yet. To publicly and openly identify oneself as a spiritual successor of the Branch Davidians, particularly in this context, makes the eyebrows go up to say the very least.

I don't make a habit of defending David Koresh, because I do think he was theologically wrong. But, you'll never see me judging him either, because I know he was used by God to do and be exactly who he was. I respect him, and them, and I feel sorry for them. But I think they're in the Kingdom of God now. And probably sin-for-sin, I'm a worse human being than Koresh, or I certainly feel that way, so I hope he is in heaven because if he's not, I sure won't be. But I think he is, and I think God loves me, too.

And may I say, especially in these end times, be very careful what you believe that the world hands you to believe.

Edward, Koresh dissolved all the marriages among his followers and claimed sexual rights to all the women in his cult so that he could have children by them. This is so far gone from spiritual orthodoxy that I cannot sympathize with statements that he was "used by God."

How do you reconcile this?

I actually found it to be inaccurate, based on all of my own personal research, mostly in the last episode, if I'm not mistaken.

The most accurate doc on Waco I've ever seen, and it's shocking, is called 'Waco: Rules of Engagement.' Not sure anybody carries it anymore, but if you can find it, it is well worth the watch. Lots of audio of Koresh that isn't found anywhere else as well. My research painted him as much more of a passionate Bible-believing Christian than anything else he's been accused of being.

I don't. So long as he wasn't trying to have sex with me, I have no opinion whatsoever. I wasn't living in Mount Carmel, and I'm not a Branch Davidian. I mean, I understand the reasoning behind it. That is, I understand the role those children he was trying to produce were supposed to play in the world, but clearly, that wasn't the will of God--because they're all dead.

You know what the Branch Davidians are? They are like the Christians impaled on sticks and set on fire to be used as streetlights for Nero's Rome. They are a sign. Their theology is irrelevant. Their sins are irrelevant because they are all dead. But we better wake up and see that firelight. We better wake up soon, or it will overcome us while we sleep. I wish I could tell you and make you believe the things that are about to come upon us.

See, that's really what I want to discuss in here. I want to get into that board on the end times. I have a particular knack for symbolism. I see into the mysteries of the Gospels like no one I've ever known. The same powers were at work when I was in the occult and used tarot (which I have turned away from). It's there when I study astrology (as we all know Veridicans do), and it hits me like a Mack truck when I read the book of Revelation. So, I am looking forward to writing an analysis of that prophecy (but there's another book I have to finish first).

So, I'm not here to preach Veridicanism or defend the Branch Davidians. I'm really here to get into good conversations about the end times.

We believe the human purpose is to become Christ. We believe the human spirit is like a seed of Christ. Of course, even if we are Ferris Christ or Edward Christ, that doesn't mean we are Jesus Christ. And just because we are completely Christ, that doesn't mean Christ is just us. We become the substance of Christ.

Ironically, I'm working on a short explanation right now for a sermon video that explains the Veridican Eucharist ritual. It's transubstantiation, like the Catholics, but it differs in that we believe our individual faith turns the bread into the body of Christ and the wine into the blood of Christ, not a centralized priest. We have priests and deacons, but in the most important ritual moment, the Eucharist, we all become High Priests.

No matter what the man preached and how divine he might have seemed to those who knew him, there is no precedent in the word of God for taking multiple men's wives and making them ones own, and then having children by them himself, whether it was all consensual or not. This is not a reflection of the religion Christ Himself founded, and my concern is that if your position is that as long as he wasn't trying to have sex with you then you have no opinion, you are not only turning a blind eye to adultery and polygamy but also pedophilia. One of them was reportedly 12 years old.

Dude, I don't know any other way to say this but you scare me. Is this the kind of religion you want to start for yourself? Look how it ended, for not only him but his families (plural) and all his closest followers. Judgment time eventually comes, and not always because of persecution. Sometimes the Lord Himself decides to call an end to something before it goes any further.

In Christianity, anyone claiming to actually be the Christ is instantly rejected with no consideration whatsoever given that it might be Him.

I tried briefly to find the clip of him loudly berating his class, calling them 'idiots' if I remember correctly. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I don't know why people put up with people like that in religion. I really don't. I would have been the first one to the door. I've done that more than once.
