You did great. I knew you were from Canada but did not realize it was Ontario. My old pastor about whom I talk a lot and who is recovering from a second surgery was born in London, Ontario. His father was a full-blooded Chippewa born on the reservation.Oh boy... I have competition this morning... you are starting to add trivia to your morning reports.... LOL @Pathfinder7... Lake facts ( my lake ... the one I live on ( well beside ).
twice a year the lake turns over (stratification)... spring and fall.
This means that the water at the top of the lake actually sinks to the bottom in a rotation type motion.
Thus in spring ( thaw )... and in winter ( ice )... This was a very CRAPPY attempt at explaining an actual amazing phenomenon.

I moved to where I am now from London, Ontario... Beautiful city... very humid and hot in the summer... that is why I left. North is the place to be for those who don't like heat. LOLYou did great. @Addy In Northern Ontario, the last frosts of the winter can be in May or June. The first frosts of the next winter can be in July or August. :) But if you like it, it's fine...I moved to where I am now from London, Ontario... Beautiful city... very humid and hot in the summer... that is why I left. North is the place to be for those who don't like heat. LOL

What's a few bugs?? At least we don't have SNAKES... well.. a few water snakes... but I tell them to stay away from my PIECE of the LAKE.Too many bugs up north. Calgary is cool and quite bug-free.
