Here is something that people do not believe has been fulfilled, yet in Matthew 5:17 which shows Jesus Christ speaking to His Disciples on the mount of Olives, which Jesus Christ was teaching about the Beatitudes; Salt and light, and fulfillment of the Law, Anger and Reconciliation, Adultery, Divorce, Oaths and Vows, and to Love your Enemies.
Now these are all things that Jesus Christ taught to His disciples and we have an account about the Truth that Jesus Christ had spoken to them; which as people who read the bible today, and look at, read, question, ponder, apply the lessons into our life living by the spirit.
My questions is when it comes down to Matthew 5:17 “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. / 'Do not suppose that I came to throw down the law or the prophets -- I did not come to throw down, but to fulfil; / "Do not think that I have come to do away with the Law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets. I have not come to do away with them, but to make their teachings come true. / Do not think that I have come to revoke The Written Law or The Prophets; I am not come to revoke but to fulfill.
Here are several different translation.
Was Jesus Christ a liar? When He was teaching these things to his disciples, was he tricking them and deceiving them to believe something that was not true? These are real authentic questions, because If Jesus Christ never came and had fulfilled the law; we should stop following the Lord Jesus Christ and revert to trying to please God by living the Law of Moses, and sacrifice animals again for our sins.
