Not just the Catholic Church, even though priests are cross dressing.... ;-)
Have you checked United Pentecostals....?

Ya, when it comes to this, it is best to have a sense of humor. What a disappointment.
I was looking forward to a zoom meeting.
Ah, well..... :)
I follow biblical guidance:Only when I'm trying to keep the conversation light. But I may not much longer.
Ok, as stated, when it comes to admitting sins and failings, one sometimes has to just laugh at things and move on. But not when it comes to making light of sexual immorality and dismissing it as inconsequential. Our new member who wrote the OP is apparently not clear on what Christian morality regarding fornication is, and that is a serious matter.
@Grailhunter. In Revelation, the Lord spoke to one church as follows:
12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: 13 “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
Now, this means that the issue of sexual immorality is a serious subject to the Lord. I hate to put this to you so bluntly, but by your post you are aligning yourself with the enemy. Does Jesus teach hatred towards sex here, or walk in a belief that sex is connected to Satan? Does he teach that sex is evil, or that sexual immorality is? Does he teach that women are the tempters of us good menz and in league with the devil, or is He simply seeking to protect women from sexual exploitation? It's not a craziness to endorse holiness, Grailhunter, and that's what the New Testament writers did consistently.
I'm also not certain you fully understand what Amazed@grace teaches to endorse her so much. I've followed her posts, and she teaches that God is both Male and Female, that Eve was not fully informed about the tree so it may actually be God's fault that she sinned, that God deliberately condemned multitudes to eternal damnation before they were ever created, that salvation is completely irrevocable no matter what sin a person commits... she is very sympathetic to those who say Christianity is a "male dominated religion" because her version of Christianity is very much akin to that of the Nicolaitans whom the Lord was addressing above.
Let me show you another passage:
18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Do you see how seriously the Lord takes sexual sin here? While I think there is room for not laying a huge guilt trip on ourselves if we have failings, not taking the issue itself seriously is a mistake, and a misrepresentation of what true Christianity is and how our Lord Himself views the subject.
God bless,

Well that could be an interesting topic. I do worship with the Pentecostals but I am sure not all of them are the same. What 'cha got?Not just the Catholic Church, even though priests are cross dressing.... ;-)
Have you checked United Pentecostals....?
My advice is to direct them to their priests with the issue
Yes some of the Pentecostal churches do have a dress code LOLI consider myself "pentecostal".....as far as the baptism in the Holy Spirit goes....you know the thing that causes speaking in tongues....the stuff Jesus said to wait for.....the Power from upon High....
But what I was getting at are the "United" Pentecostals...the ones preaching: No pants for women, long hair only....no makeup....no jewelry...no this....no that....etc etc etc. No uncovered arms, short sleeves....all that kind of stuff that might cause a man to rape you...
All these restrictions in order to keep the men in church in line...some might look at a woman and think "sex". Now THAT would be horrifying.
How would an unmarried priest be able to counsel a person with sexual related issues.
We all know what that could lead too.
Yes some of the Pentecostal churches do have a dress code LOL
hi amadeus, I think you're right, you should wait on God's perfect timing. What I don't know is if it's really a sin if you do sexual things with boundaries with your boyfriend - if that's really sexual immorality or if it's just another one of the restrictions Christians put without considering other factors and that only having sex with your boyfriend is sexual immorality - that I can understand. ThanksIf you really do not, then it probably is not. Does not the fact of sin come from our own hearts? God is not just looking at the physical things we do which other people can see. God is looking at our hearts. Are we trying to pull a 'fast one' on God or anyone else or are we really striving always to accomplish God's perfect will? We may have doubts in ourselves, but God has no doubt. He knows. Talk to Him! Listen to Him!
;)Lol I actually didn't until you pointed it out.![]()
Hey, would a weekend be complete without that song in our head?Great thanks for getting this song in my head.
HIH, Salutations,
Funny that you think I do not know the scriptures backward and forward and from every direction.
The question is do you and I say you, but really I mean most of Christianity, do you know what sexual immorality is?
Really the only sexual immorality the Bible touches on is homosexuality and prostitution.
The topic is like that big ball of twine that Ripley's believe it or not, talks about. The thing is huge and has sat out in the weather for years and it would probably take years to untangle it. So as this topic of sex and Christianity, that it is like oil and water...it does not mix. So many strong feeling about a topic they have barely a clue about....isn't that funny. The love-hate relationship that Christianity has with procreation. I find it funny and sad...after all these years they have not figured it out.
Well ladies, you see what I mean....the topic comes up and people go stupid. Best to leave the topic alone because you will get no constructive guidance here. Now you know why I usually leave the room and watch the fur fly. Like I said, usually the person that brings the topic up will be ridiculed. Do not discuss sex in the company of Christians.
Do not discuss sex in the company of Christians.

The DVD version? You guys watch videos? Oh, man! What's this world coming too!
Well I'm level-headed about it at least, only I would disagree with your position here. For instance, for starters, adultery also plays a prominent role in scripture as a sexual sin that carries judgment. The scriptures are numerous here:
The fur is not flying and no one is "going stupid," LoL. Just mellow out and deal with the scriptures. You are teaching that homosexuality and prostitution are the only sexual sins they taught about, and my last post was the first of several passages I can show to prove your position is unfounded.
But just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean the fur is flying and they have gone stupid, LoL... Heavens.

Ya, but I don't think the ladies are talking about adultery. And that is the point....it gets into the terms that people do not understand.
We are agreed that adultery and sex with animals is a sin...maybe I did not broaden it out far enough LOL But I am trying to bring that conversation up.
You think you can tempt me? LOL Humor. It is an unresolvable issue that offends people...so why offend people. But you see, the fact that you don't want to discuss this subject with Christians means there is something wrong with your theology, because Christians would oppose it, yes?
