For I the Lord am a jealous God visiting the inequities of the fathers on the children to the third and forth generation of those that hate me; but showing mercy to thousands to those that love me and keep my commandments. The reason that so many in the world do not believe in God is because there is nothing on Earth to substantiate the existence of God; and that because all organized religion is blasphemy and lies created by man. christianity is a false religion, as is catholicism, Islam is completely ridiculous, all forms of religion are fantasies created by man. Do you know from where the cross originates? Surely you've seen crosses with spheres in the center. That sphere represents the sun and the cross represents the rays of the sun which originates from Babylon hundreds of years before Christ. Think about this, if a Roman soldier was going to crucify a man, would he really take the time to affix a beam across a pole and secure it enough to support the weight of a man, then spend the time to secure that cross in the ground to sup[port a dying man writhing in agony? That seems to be a lot of unnecessary work to kill a criminal. Or is it more likely that the Roman soldier nailed the criminal's hands to a pole above his head, nail his feet to the pole and then stand that pole in a hole the ground until thyat criminal died? The latter far more likely and also one of the greatest reasons why God appears to be nonexistent. If we were to go through each commandment I would show you why the christians are guilty of breaking all of them and why God is invisible to the world and the christian alike. Go ahead wear your cross just don't equate it with Jesus, equate it with the ancient Babylonian tradition of sun worship. Next christmas when you set up your christmas tree, remember that christmas is a lot more representative of the Babylonian tradition of the winter solstice of the sun, Jesus was born in September

Good or evil are experienced, their stages that produce belief and unbelief to the same mind that contains all beliefs for and against, God is every one no matter what is believed by us. free Grace has no Bragg so we can't feel superior, joy is a wake and it judges no one.
Good Lord brother, did you graduate from school? I read your post 4 times and I still can't make any sense of it.
If you approached your bible study the same way that you obviously approached your grade school education, it's no wonder you are confused.
Good and Evil are not a part of your flesh, the whole battle is waged in your soul. There is not one of you anywhere under the sun that can say, "I didn't know that it was wrong." When you stand before the judgement throne of God and he plays back the history of your life, are you going to say to him, I'm sorry Lord, I didn't know that it was wrong to shoot that man and take his wallet, I didn't know that it was wrong to steal that candy bar from the corner store? I'm sorry Father, I didn't know that it was wrong to declare that false expense to the IRS or lied to that guy that I didn't take his saw?" And do you think that God will believe you? Remember when you were a little baby sitting in your high chair and your mother spoon fed you that baby food? You spit it out and you laughed but you were only 22 months old. That will be replayed before your face and even at 22 months old you knew that to spit your food out and laugh at your mother was wrong. Remember in grade 5 when you and your friend skipped out of school and you went to the mall? You knew that was wrong but you still did it and in grade 8 when you put your hand into that girl's blouse and fondled her breast are you going to tell God that you didn't know that was wrong? Or grade 11 when you and your girlfriend has sex at your buddy's house party, you're going to tell almighty God that you couldn't help yourself? No my friend, Jesus is not your scapegoat to disobey the commandments of God.
Now consider this, just after God created everything, Lucifer came up with this plan to exalt himself as God's equal and he was extremely put out that God rejected his plan. The rift ended where God cast Lucifer out of his presence and gave him the world to execute his plan. Now he was as close to being God as anyone and he set up his plan on the Earth that includes everything on this Earth. The governments are his, the banks are his, the schools are his, the jails, the businesses, everything that you can see or touch that isn't part of the Earth's creation belongs to Lucifer; and that is why Jesus came to atone for you. If you ever stole a bubblegum then you are completely guilty in the eyes of God, you will be judged by God and you will be punished by God. Jesus won't and can't do anything about it. You knew that it was wrong and you did it anyway (no excuse). Your sinful nature is your responsibility. Nowhere in the bible does it say that you can come to Christ and then continue to sin. Repent means stop doing it and to continue to do it is tantamount to taking the Lord's name in vain. Christians are notorious for wickedness and every one them thinks that they can say a simple prayer and all is forgiven. I can hardly wait to see that day when Christ says to them, "Depart from me you doer of wickedness, I never knew you and then they will all systematically be banished from God's presence and cast into a dark abyss of completely nothing. No light, no sound, no smell, no touch and only the dry parchment of nothing on their tongues. That's what it means to be separated from God!

Oh yes, I live in Buffalo Ny and it gets pretty cold here too. I would not worry about the Church change as, it's not a building or a denomination Grams, it's Christ in us, He is there whether or not we "feel" Him. I know you are lonely and, I am going to pray for you sister! I pray God will reveal Himself to you in a unique way and that you will sense His presence and love. We all have our days numbered and, only God knows why we are still here... maybe He wants you to pray for your family and the lost. Have to trust completely in His plan for your life even though we do not see it allot.

Just wish my girl friend is saved ?
To me ,,,, it sounded like she is,,,, but my son read her letter and to him it did not sound like it to him.
So I cant keep on talking religion, because as I was like her we were told keep away from some one
who believes in a different church........ So ...... I have been friends with her since we were 4 and 5 years
of age......... and I brought her to that church........
Now our children had brought us to a bible church........ and my husband and I got saved.
He is gone now and I am happy I know were he is...
I have a long story [ kind of ] of my husband and I ......
I am ok.........

Hi Grams, I'm sorry you are not able to still be in touch with your friend, and only God knows who is saved. It seems as if you are under a pretty strict teaching. Can you and your friend talk on the phone? And if you can then there are many things you would have in common with her as far as Jesus, don't have to talk doctrine. I am thinking your friend goes to Catholic church? Not sure but would be my guess. They too are Christian and we do have the main tenets of the faith in common so, you and she could just stick with those things if you do speak about God.
Anyhow @Grams , I hope and pray you can still at least talk on the phone with her.

Just keep thanking God that she will be saved as, it is His will that none should perish. My grandma used to play the organ and sing hymns at a CC for over 40 years. Now, she was a devout Catholic yet, she also exhibited every single fruit of the Spirit so...I have no doubt where she is. Just ask God to give her an huge hunger and thirst to know Him deeper, and that she will want to start talking about Him with you.
