I was shocked at how some weeks ago the LGBT activists practically forced the minister to change their position on the conversion therapy. Its shocking how a minority can overrule the majority and that some minorities have such more rights/freedoms while some others of us have less. At least here in NZ the NZ people in survey/poll for once actually had sense opinion/view.
The new Sodom is Jerusalem not UK. Revelation calls Jerusalem "Sodom and Egypt".
According to Jewish source(s) Sodom was not so much bad for their sexual orientation but because they were "lies/lying, they were arrogant, pride, haughty, unconcerned, didn’t care about the poor/needy".
Some of these do also fit modern western countries' rich/wealthy elite and middle class like the UK & NZ eg "beggars are lazy", homeless people due to housing crisis, etc.
Its not just "homophobia" either there are other crooked "hate" laws against other things too. Its all to undermine natural/created national communities.
Although I don't agree with homosexual activism like parades I don't hate them and I understand. But homosexuality is less natural than heterosexuality in my opinion and they shouldn't have the right to go pushing it and showing it off. Natural heterosexual rights and marriage and family come first. One can't push homosexual activism without effecting heterosexual. So we should accept them and not discriminate unfairly, but it shouldn't be pushed/paraded. Christians should have the right to say it is not biblical/natural though.

I think a lot of the USA problems are coming from European sources of the upper rich class and entertainment industries. They appear to have a lot of influence in schools and government here. And we're creeping towards a more socialist government now, much like European gov's.
Sodom and Gomorrah had many sins that caused their destruction. But we should note that they proclaimed their sin and didn't hide it. And this is happening today in the USA and UK perhaps:
Genesis 19:5 ESV
And they called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them.”

you got that wrong! It is the USA that is the cause of the filth that we have on our TV's and Movies, and most of the Bible cults have stared in the USA. The big word of faith movement is from the USA, as are the TeleEvangelists, with their FALSE teachings. Pentecostalism and Charismatics are also from the USA. The USA qualifies for both Sodom and Gomorrah!
the Bible actually calls homosexuality an abomination to God, and a sin. Do you agree with this?
Sorry but have you got any idea how the USA has influenced the U.K. over the years. Also why do people in the US continuously think we are living in a socialist country, we believe is social responsibility , which is not the same !
I know many believe it’s the case because we have a National Health Service , but that was rooted in-helping everyone to access medical care at a time when only those with money could afford it, there was no medical insurance available ( which the USA so kindly influenced us with, along with compensation and suing everyone to get money - and yes I am being sarcastic with the thanks. It brought about so many bad things, greed, accountability to the extreme and all kinds of stupid rules and regulations that make the work place more about paperwork than anything else ! )
The actual title of this thread, I think, is over the top- sin is rife in all countries, I think any place could be aligned to sodom and all that was happening there......

Devin ol' buddy step back and look at the big picture. The United States is the last strong hold of Christianity. Alone in the world as the only country with the power and the will to fight evil. It is not just Europe or Canada....This is why the United States has been such a prize for Satan, he has to take us down, then he will have the world. Now we are under attack from within to convert the country to communism and atheism by the demonrats. Christianity itself is under attack from within by the new denomination that justifies sin.
No body pays attention to history....In the biblical era the Jerusalem area was the last stronghold for morality. The Jews as ornery as they were, were still worlds ahead of the rest of the world that Satan had control of. It took a God to step in to defend them. The American Revolutionary War....the establishment of the United States...it took a war and a lot bloodshed to establish a country that would stand for God. We are at that point again...our choice....kneel to Satan or take up arms.
Those that believe that Christ's return is imminent? I cannot disagree with them, because it may take a God to fix this, if Christians do not stand up against all that is going on.

Keep placing yourself on that higher plain, do you honestly think you have it all right and everyone else has it all wrong. You only have a glimpse of what God is doing around the world within HIS Kingdom, with HIS people, which is global.

30 thousand Protestant denominations...millions of church of ones...who has it right...?
That is the reason that I am multi-denominational.
But for morality the Bible is not my opinion. The morality of the Bible is not that difficult a study.
As far as the UK...in the past they have stood with the United States....not so much anymore.
Christianity is on a serious declined in Europe and Canada, and Christianity is engaged in the fight of its life in the U.S.
I am sad for Europe and Canada. If you think that the UK will ever stand up against evil again....I hope you are right...
As far as what I know about Christianity and the world...LOL...I am a world traveler and my Christian education spans five countries and the most historical universities. Smarter than your average bear...but still a bear.
If the Christian message you received was not about believing in Christ, being good, and standing up for what is right...you got the wrong message. That I know.
Yeah right, then why was I exposed to Benny Hill as a youth, and we had HeeHaw. Stark contrast. But sure try and back out of my statement of facts. ('Benny Hill culture' blamed for teenage pregnancies)

There are many ways of fighting for what is right and standing up for what you believe ......
Of course I received the right message, you only know me within the forum you do not know me in person, so please do not choose to presume that I am not fighting for Christ in the kingdom. Just for the record I am non denominational !

Kingdom of what? Are we discussing the context of the thread.
What you responded to was a discussion concerning Christianity and various countries.
What you referenced was the USA. HA I am good to go where you want this conversation to lead ...just give me an Idea.
As for as personally to you...I only responded personally to you because you were questioning if I know right or wrong and if I know that I am right.
Look at the title....the discussion is about countries.
Kingdom of God...good topic but not in context of the tread.

On reflection I am not sure you can detach countries and fighting evil from Christians being within the Kingdom and fighting. The are connected! ( so you conveying that The USA is the only place that is capable of fighting evil, is stating that Christians in the USA are the only ones who have that ability - or at least that is how I interpreted your words, maybe you meant something else x )
I am not bothered about you being personal, you were questioning whether I had heard the right message, so I responded.
I think we have had are own share in TV’s and Movies that fit into that grouping though !!! Lol
While that is currently true I was talking about the origin and steering of the media empire. Yes they have embraced European culture now which is evident from the fact that many of the stars have residences in Europe. Yes the media empire is currently steering the USA towards a sexual immoral and violently engulfed future. But I think it began in Europe with the media empire traveling to Europe and following liberal cues. I remember US visitors to France reporting that there was porn on their TV's that children could be exposed to. In fact in France, they just outlawed sex with minors, so it took them this long? (‘Children Are Off-Limits’: France on Course to Set 15 as Age of Consent).
