There is a very thin line and often as not you cannot discuss that without going onto the subject of the trinity.
Am I hearing this correctly?
Watchtower cults are welcome to mislead members into a cult, but defending the faith is prohibited??????

But it is a book we can understand with a little effort -- including your "if you see me you have seen the Father" quote. I'll put this in a private message to you.

The main pillar of The faith, the deity of Jesus, is off the table, while cults in here thumb their nose at heaven, the bible, and deny Jesus in open mockery of the Christian faith????

Yes. Rather then ban those who made those threads untenable the topic itself was banned. The statement of faith affirms the Trinity.

Much love!

No it’s an American forum, I believe x

Technically this forum's base of operation, i.e., the computer platform, resides in America as far as I know, and it seem so does the person who now owns and controls certain aspects in the way that this forum is funded.

However, with that said, the forum is interestingly global in make up in that the members and the "staff" come from around the world. Sadly, the apparent majority of the members reside in the USA and subsequently subjects that are only pertinent to the USA seem to dominate the threads and the content of the posts on this forum.

We all need to learn to live within the environmental space of this forum and leave our high horses at home.

Now let the topic dominate the posts so that this thread can get back on track.

"But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established" - Proverbs 4:18 (NWT)
I believe that the light is spiritual growth and a gradual connection to Jesus and His will and mentality.

I believe that the light is spiritual growth and a gradual connection to Jesus and His will and mentality.
Jesus’ will is of necessity the will of his Father, because he said he came to do his Father’s will, not his own. (John 6:38; John 17:4)

Jesus said.....For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” (John 6:38-40 NASB)

Jesus frequently mentioned “the last day”.....what do you think he means here?
When is “the last day”?

International socialism and there is no resurrection and it is for only the elect. Plus they discourage college.
Ummmm……who told you this? Another armchair expert eh?

What on earth is international socialism? Could it be that the human race was meant to live in peace and harmony without the racial and religious hatreds that divide us? (Acts 10:34-35)

The resurrection is for all the dead, not just the elect because the Bible speaks about two different resurrection that take place at different times….and have two different destinations.
The elect are resurrected “first”. (Rev 20:6; 1 Thess 4:16; John 5:28-29)

We do not discourage college for any other reason than colleges are no place for a Christian…...it is a place of loose morals and drug and alcohol abuse. We encourage education outside of those institutions. Would you like to place your immature teen in that atmosphere? No thanks.
We also appreciate that the things this world promotes are not the things God promotes. (1 John 2:15-17)
Wealth and a materialistic lifestyle is not something the Bible encourages. (1 Tim 6:9-10)
Being successful in the world does not bring happiness.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can twist things about us, demonstrating that they are keen to believe hearsay, and are not really interested in the truth…..we were told to expect it, as Jesus had to put up with that too. (Matt 5:11; John 15:18-21)

What on earth is international socialism?
It's what the United Nations promotes.

And if the college in the United States is a Christian college; I am sure you would still object. This isn't Australia.
Being mediocre in the world does not bring happiness.

It's what the United Nations promotes.
The “one world government” promoted by the UN is the very antithesis of the one that the Bible promotes….what do you think God’s Kingdom is? (Isa 9:6-7) Who does the Prince of Peace rule?
And if the college in the United States is a Christian college; I am sure you would still object. This isn't Australia.
Being mediocre in the world does not bring happiness.
Being humble is not being mediocre…..it recognizes what is important in life, and it knows what “contentment” is, (Heb 13:5)…..happiness never results from wealth, position or material possessions….time spent earning a living is different to time spent earning a lifestyle, while depriving family of your presence.

In today’s consumerist and greedy world, it pays to be content with what you have rather than continually “chasing after the wind” as Solomon said….wanting more and more. (Luke 12:15)

“Things” never make you happy…..people do. Those who work too hard earning money to buy their children more “things”, wonder why their children are never satisfied, and are often ungrateful and demanding…? (1 John 2:15-17) Does the world dictate our actions? Are we influenced more by its standards than God’s? Did Jesus grow up as a rich kid?
Do we get the reason for that? Time spent elsewhere is time we never get back with our children or our spouse. We all have but 24 hours in a day….how do we spend them? Serving our God…or serving ourselves? Humility does not mean keeping up with the world and meeting its expectations…..what are God’s expectations of us?
