How millions are trapped in modern-day slavery at brick kilns in Pakistan
Families in Pakistan work dangerous jobs at brick kilns to pay off loans they take out from kiln owners. Many never escape the cycle of debt.www.businessinsider.com
And you thought you had it bad in life.
Maybe $600 would free them from this.
But it must be said, Pakistan is a country that has sponsored lots of militant groups against its neighbors, both now and in the past. It also often represses Christians and Hindus, as well as certain ethnic minorities. And their nuclear arsenal was built against U.S. wishes, with China's assistance during the Cold War. In other words, not exactly our "friend" either.
If their people had converted to Christianity, then they would be in a MUCH better place today.
