If we have heart knowledge of Christ we will love His word, the truth, as set forth in the bible. Which contains not the wisdom of men but the spiritual wisdom of God. Which is what the Holy Spirit teaches.....He doesn't speak on His own. There is no competition between God's word and His Spirit. There is no division or disunity/disagreement between God's words and His spirit/heart. Out of the overflow of the heart/spirit, the mouth speaks..?
Sometimes, people differentiate between head knowledge and heart knowledge of Jesus. Head knowledge refers to knowing what the Bible says about Him, while heart knowledge is believing in Him as your personal Savior and knowing the joy of the Lord's salvation.
Says you.
Do you understand that God is a Living Spirit, how would we know that?
The Bible is fallible, because it was written by men, men/ woman are fallible.
You need to learn of God via His Spirit, ask him to penetrate your heart/ spirit more deeply, so that your heart/ spirit gets to know him more..not your brain/ mind.
A Born Again has a personal Living relationship with God, via his Spirit.
We are Sons / Daughters Of the most high..spirit children.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things
You never answered one of my questions I asked of you?
Sorry Brother I only see biblical knowledge from you..very little heart knowledge @amigo de christo
Do you permanently know the Love Of God in your heart/ spirit?
The truth that is expressed in holy writ IS infallible. We just need to be aware of translation errors or shortcomings (which are relatively minor if the translation has been done faithfully). And we need to understand the difference between a faithful translation as opposed to watered down or paraphrased versions.
There are those who have either never entered into a personal relationship with the Lord, or who did but have not developed it or grown in it. And they tend to put written scripture above and ahead of a living relationship......which is not wise, since we can't understand and rightly divide the word without that relationship and reliance on the Spirit. Which grows and deepens as our knowledge/understanding also grows, hand in hand.
