I had a message from God this morning among the troubles of life. The Holy Spirit shown down on me and said Jesus will be arriving soon. I know that is already in the bible but it was a personal and warm message for me that I really needed to hear. Healing to the soul God is.

You know, I had the same realization that Jesus is coming soon because there is too much happening in the world. My dad died before the pandemic, even though there were a lot of prayers coming from different denominations before that. God keeps telling me to be ready at all times because you do not know what time. Even though at that time I do not believe in a god. But he was already telling me beforehand. And I thought that the pandemic is the start of something ominous.

If you do not believe in God then that is not good. God is good and Jesus his Son proclaimed that on earth while here. We invite God into our lives so that he can provide his good works for us that we can be part of something greater than human existence. And that is a wonderful and happy idea about our Creator and Savior area of God. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are all here desiring us, their creations and saved people to be happy down here on earth.

Thanks for responding, and I hope all is well under God for you and your family. Sorry to hear about your Dad.

If you do not believe in God then that is not good.
That is in the past, and yet God has called me, but I did not respond. He called me multiple times, but I ignored Him. So here I am, reaping what I have sown. The second chances I was looking for, I cannot find them anymore. My life is a mess; it is brimming with loneliness. Based on my personality from before, if I am not hurt today, then I will not need a doctor. So maybe everything that has happened to me is God’s will, for He knows what my future holds. He knows if I will die tomorrow, because I know that no matter where I hide or where I go, He is there, reminding me that I can run but cannot hide. I am in a desperate situation; why don’t you just come back to me? Some time ago, I asked for His will, but His will hurts, so I did not listen and went on. I took the other path because the path He told me about hurt, but now I realize it was the right path. I should have taken that path, even if it hurt; it is the only true path. Someone once said that most of the time, there is no such thing as a second chance in one’s life. There is no time machine that can take me back to take that path again, for I am already reaping the consequences of my previous choices.

I learned the lesson the hard way, but I am still not fully trying to be perfect. I'm not sure what I need to be stable. I am always gloomy and having suicidal thoughts. I wish I could just disappear, but this depression comes and goes; it is persistent and keeps coming back.

@ThePuffyBlob, thanks for responding.

About seconds chances, there is more than second chances with God. I don't know where you heard about that idea of not having second chances.

Here is the important scriptures to read regarding how far God will go to look for his lost sheep and such:

Bible Gateway passage: Luke 15 - New King James Version

The Parable of the Lost Sheep

15 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

8 “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

The Parable of the Lost Son

11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.

17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’

20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

25 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’

28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’

31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’ ”

Keep fighting
One day at a time is all we are given
Call out loud on JESUS Name when it is overwhelming
Rejoice and give praise as HE gives you strength each day

He sees you if you seek Him and are Truthful and sincere in repentance. John is the message pertaining to his promise of Redemption in the blood of the lamb. Jesus Christ is not a lair he personally says:

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Believe on Him, Pray on Him, Wait on him. Do not stop. He will reveal Himself to you.

Second chances in life, not in God. It was Amadeus who told me.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep
The Parable of the Lost Son
I am aware of these verses; when I need them, someone reminds me. They are within me.

when it is overwhelming
Okay, I will try. I have also had those moments countless times when I wanted to shout, but I just shout within myself because people might hear it and think, 'He must have gone crazy.'

I feel you, I truly do. Surrender unto him Fully and completely, (He already knows everything about you), it sounds as though given your post you may be in disobedience in some way. Only you would know that. God will keep at us in increasingly more shaking ways, until we surrender and obey. If you have these negative thoughts that is God trying to convict you on what the Holy Spirit is trying to do. Be humble before him, he will confirm to you His Holy Spirit guidance, through any means available. It maybe show in conversation with strangers, or the randomness of surfing the internet. That’s how he works. He will send confirmation of the path He wants for you. When we see these things we should take action, otherwise they lead to disobedience by not heading His word, which can then lead to willful disobedience, with further perpetuates the feeling of hopelessness, grief, etc. Peace is a good indicator that you are acting on his Holy Spirit.

i will pray for you friend, as I have walked this path as well.

Hello @WitnessX and again welcome to the forum. I would like to address an issue that I have seen many Christian get incorrectly about true doctrine from God:

Some of the Christians on this forum have stated they believe in a doctrine called "conviction from the Holy Spirit". And I noticed what I consider to be an error in those areas of their ideas about that doctrine.

You stated:

"If you have these negative thoughts that is God trying to convict you on what the Holy Spirit is trying to do."

I know of others in the past that I have encountered on this forum stating a similar if not identical idea like that direction regarding spirit conviction.

I know there is one section that I did find in previous discussion related to that idea. But before I post that section I would like to state that God is a warm and loving spirit that does not need to "convict" us if that is a term used for "wounding" us spiritually or in the heart area of feelings. Then I will first post the fruits of the Holy Spirit from Paul's section here so that people can identify God and the feelings he provides his children:

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

And here is the section on Jesus' discussion with his disciples:

John 16:5 “But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

In verse 8 Jesus states that the Helper he will send after going away to heaven will convict the world of 3 different things: sin, righteousness and judgment. Please understand that he is addressing an audience that is the world and not only Christians. And Jesus further explains that related to those 3 areas there are three items that need to be carefully read to actually understand what that means:

1) of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

Jesus is clearly talking about non believers in the world in that section and probably not Christians.

2) of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

And that is a little more complicated of an issue I believe. Jesus went to prepare a house and mansions in heaven for God's loving family. And I consider that to be righteous in saving his people. As well as sending the "Helper". God provided a helper for his children.

3) of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

In Jesus' time he was dealing with a Roman occupation of the Jews. And under Roman government and enforcement, Rome and some of the Jews in charge, attempted stop Jesus from gaining a following by killing his as a leader. He healed many people during a time that many were suffering afflictions, illness when their were different doctors at that time, or healers. And the people loved that Jesus provided the mercy of healing them. It showed a desire from Jesus that the people lived.

Also @WitnessX I was actually wondering where you were taught that idea about a thing some Christians state which is "conviction" regarding that false doctrine about "negative feelings". I do know that God does not afflict people with "negative feelings" at all. I believe that any "negative feelings" would actually be coming from the devil or serpent to afflict man.

God gave direction in the bible already regarding commandments and direction and I know many of us already know that. I often see Satan beating people up over sin that he desires to beat into them. I know that only furthers the abuse of Satan against God's chosen people. A true follower of God might even be afflicted by Satan and we see that if you look in Paul's statements in the bible.

I think Paul exposed some of what that tricky devil called Satan does. There are two areas I think of regarding that:

2 Corinthians12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

See also:

2 Corinthians 11:12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

In final regard, I would be very interested to know where you learned that idea about conviction false doctrine. Please let me know so that I can research that area. I have asked other members and they would not respond. I would like to know what denomination from Christian organizations teach those false ideas. I also know it can be difficult when taught a false belief to let that belief go and accept true doctrine and belief from the living God.

The hour is late . the hour is very late .
The advesary of man rests not but has infiltrated the realms of man and much of christendom .
THE TIME
the TIME IS NOW , arise and hit the trenches and let none slumber and take off from the fight of our faith .
The enemy has come to lull all to sleep and to convince all
, to push all , to move all to say as did once the jews and gentiles did to pilate .
AWAY with THIS JESUS and GIVE US BARRABAS
today its AWAY WITH THE TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST and GIVE US OUR BROAD PATH LIE .
we better armour up friend . the hour , the greatest hour of our betrayal is at the door
and what was done unto Christ , they shall do unto HIS CHURCH . if they hated YOU , KNOW THEY HATED ME FIRST .

It begins AGAIN where it First took Place = Jerusalem on earth with the unrepentant Jewish nation

"I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; another comes in his own name, him you will receive."

They in turn bring their rebellion to the world/"Iron mixed with clay" who in agreement say "away with this Man and His followers"

Religion and Politics = the Marriage of DEATH
