Sadly, I live too far away from anything resembling water to consider lobster pants. And anything even slightly comparable seems a bit horrific rather than hillarious.
Also, should a pair of lobster pants ever come into existence, photo proof would be appreciated!
They are old testament statutes, not new covenant statutes. Additionally, why is the focus only on women here, when Leviticus 19:19 states "You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.", as that applied to both men and women; when's the last time you ensured not to wear cloth made of two kinds of material in this day and age?
Do you/they also limit which foods to eat and stay away from, such as Leviticus 11:9-12 "“These you may eat, of all that are in the waters. Everything in the waters that has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers, you may eat. But anything in the seas or the rivers that has not fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and of the living creatures that are in the waters, is detestable to you. You shall regard them as detestable; you shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall detest their carcasses. Everything in the waters that has not fins and scales is detestable to you." (also not new covenant, obviously).
I think this verse is speaking of transgender more then just clothes and is in the N.T.
For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,

What's with only Christian women making pants? Tell a military person that only cleaning is for women, or cooking, or sewing...See what happens when this Christian man thinks of making pants, you can eat 'em too ;) And they'd be delicious, especially soiled with butter.
Are you not near any rivers there in Australia? If so, I guess you could make crocodile pants *shrug*, or was that what you thought of when you said "horrific"?
I'll think of no one else for showing them off once I complete the lobster pants, just don't hold your breath ;)
blue, green, yellow, black; it matters not. I our society women are not identified as men by wearing jeans/pants or shirts.Frankly, in North America, if a preacher's wife or daughter goes to visit church families she will more likely than not be wearing blue jeans, etc.

They definitely had men dressed up like women in some pagan temples. At one time, they even had "houses" close to the Temple. "Sodomites" isn't exactly the right translation -- the pagans called them "holy ones" and that's the word used here:They all wore dresses back then didn't they?

Well...we're about an hour away from a smallish river...probably about the only thing you'd find in it would be catfish. Not sure catfish pants would look, or smell, very good. No...my mind went unfortunately to the livestock we mostly find where we are; sheep. I'm not sure HOW you'd make pants out of sheep. I suppose you could do it the traditional way...kill 'em and skin 'em...but that wasn't really in the 'lobster' spirit. Which bought me right back to...yikes.
Happily, we live at the wrong end of Aus to worry about crocodiles...they're mostly up the top end. But we have plenty of snakes and spiders...hurrah! I might perhaps pass over my right to pants if they had to be made out of either of them...
