Jesus's body that was slain for our sin, died, and our sin went into the Grave with the Body of Jesus..
I’m afraid our sin did not go into the Grave with the Body Of Jesus....nowhere in scripture can I find those words.

Our sin was forgiven when we were Born Again of imperishable seed ....our sin was forgiven by God when we became Born Again.

Our sin is no more, God sees our sin no more as Born Again.

Romans 6
Berean Standard Bible Par ▾
Dead to Sin, Alive to God
(2 Corinthians 4:7–18)
1What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase?2Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? 3Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
5For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection. 6We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. 7For anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. 10The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God. 11So you too must count yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires.13Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
The Wages of Sin
15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not! 16Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness? 17But thanks be to God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.
20For when you were slaves to sin, you were free of obligation to righteousness.21What fruit did you reap at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The outcome of those things is death. 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We , the born again, do not have sin.....we have "The Gift of Righteousness".. we have "the imputed righteousness of Christ".
We do not have sin because we have been Born of Gods seed, if we hadn’t been Born Again of imperishable seed we would not be in the righteousness of Christ .....

We are also clothed in the righteousness of Christ.we are right with God because he gave us the spiritual rebirth, when he made our spirit Born Again.....our spirit is Alive in Christ.....

Ephesians 2:1-10

New International Version

Made Alive in Christ

2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this worldand of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us,God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with himin the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by graceyou have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Good question to consider. I don’t know. But when you go to see someone baptized …I’ve always viewed it as a symbol of going back underneath the water as if buried in the likeness of his going into the grave, then the coming up out of the water as being brought up new and without sin, cleansed? Not to get people side tracked on baptism but I always saw this symbol done as going into the grave, buried with Christ, then coming up out of the grave free from sin(cleansed). A symbol yes…but I thought it’s giving a message of “our sins go into the grave with the body of Jesus”?

What do you think?

Paul teaches that.....Jesus died on the Cross.....>"After God hath made Jesus to be sin for US"...

Where did His body go, after He died, being made sin for us?

Also, Paul teaches that "our old man of sin is Crucified with Christ".

The "old man of sin, is your sins, and the adamic nature that is the "sin nature"....

All that was "crucified WITH Christ"......Paul teaches, and Jesus died, and its His body that took our sin, and its His body that was placed in a Grave, with our sin becoming Him.. (His Body).

When Jesus rose from the dead, our sin that was "God hath made JESUS, (His body) to be "OUR SIN">.....didn't rise from the Grave with Him.

We do not have sin because we have been Born of Gods seed,

The "new creation In Christ" is risen (born again). without sin.,

""Our old man of sin was crucified with Christ"

Jesus became our sin, on The Cross, so that we are able to become "the righteousness of God, in Christ". = "The New Creation" "In Christ". (born again).

With our sin becoming him...scripture please?

Jesus teaches that we must be Born Again to see the Kingdom of God.

Our old adamic nature is not crucified with Christ, not until it has been Born Of The Spirit ....that is when we are made right before God.

This is so....once we have become Born Again of imperishable seed...the old man or sin nature cannot be crucified, not until our spirit is Born Again.

We need that Life giving seed...the Living Holy Spirit ..he is the one who brings our spirit Alive in Christ...he is that vital seed that brings life to our inner being.

A Christian is born again, as = "the Righteousness of God in Christ".

This is the "new Creation" "in Christ".
A Born Again who has been Born Again of imperishable seed is then in the righteousness of Christ and not before.

When we become Born Again we have a new heart/ spirit within...only then are we in Christ.

Our spirit is then Alive because of righteousness..

The Holy Spirit brings our spirit Alive in Christ...when he makes our spirit Born Again.

Yup!...same here Sis.

Has taken years and years for the Lord to get me to this understanding...

We can do nothing or say nothing in our own strength.we must surrender to what the Holy Spirit says.let him speak through us, when we post, then I check out what I believe him to be saying with the written word, then I post submit if everything I hear lines up with his word...my opinion.

At times it’s been me speaking, therefore post deleted.

All of our sins were forgiven when we became Born Again of imperishable seed.

The cross ,death and resurrection of Jesus was needed in order that we can become Born Again.

The cross does not make one’s spirit Born Again, only Gods witness His Living Holy Spirit can do that supernatural act....

Because of the cross, that’s how our spirit can be Born Again...looking to a cross saves no one.
Point to JESUS till the last breath . LOOKING TO HE WHO WAS CRUCIFIED on THE CROSS , SAVES ONE .
its all about faith in , belief in JESUS THE GLORIOUS CHRIST .
never once let us entertain a wolf in wool who cometh in to preach another gospel
which even dares to imply one does not have to BELEIVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST . i mean never once .
many now preach another love , a lost dark gospel of which they believe to be love and of GOD
only IT IS NOT . The lambs of GOD , the born again SHALL POINT ONLY TO THE DIRE NEED TO BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
Now , i do believe its time to praise and to thank the LORD yet again in the building and round the world .

you ever heard the phrase not all of Israel are of ISRAEL .
well heres another one .
NOT all of christendom are of CHRIST . that is a fact sister . we got many amongst us
who no longer even know what christaintiy has lost nor that they are still lost .
And its getting worse by the day .
Though darkness engulfs and grows every darker into gross darkness
THE LAMBS HAVE THE LIGHT OF CHRIST and they do see and they do know the way .
