Why there is evil……

Genesis 1:26 (NASB20)
Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.”

In this scripture is put forth why there is evil in this world….

Seeing how this world was created out of the light and the darkness of the first day…. Man given rule over this created mixture could bring forth what there was to bring forth, that being either the light or the darkness…. If man would bring forth the light, that being the good this world was created out of, the good would be manifested and all the ramifications of that good…. But if man chose to bring forth the evil the same being true, evil would be manifested and all the fruit of that evil….

Case in point;

If man chooses to spend all his income on that which is not profitable and his offspring grows up without, and sees someone who’s parents chose not to spend their income on that which was not profitable but on that which was, covetousness would be brought forth, being, wanting what belongs to another…. Then that one’s offspring sees that one’s lack, and lies, cheats, kills to have that which belongs to another, henceforth lying, cheating, killing would take the place of doing that which is right to bring forth those things that make for life…

Then as generations come and generations go, more and more darkness would be manifested and the fruit of that darkness because man was given rule over this world and could bring forth that which he chose to bring forth, that being either the light or the darkness this world was created out of….

On the other hand if man would choose to bring forth the good and subsequent generations bring forth the good, life and those things that are good for life would be manifested….

Henceforth to this day man has a choice, he can bring forth either the light or the darkness, i.e., the good or the evil…..

To the bringing forth of the light and the good this world was created out of so those things that make for life might be manifested…..

An interesting thing I was thinking about earlier:

Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

And I think about the scripture:

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

And one of the take aways I get from that scripture is that perhaps they thought they were prophesying, casting out demons and doing many wonders. And did they give credit to God for miraculous works. I know God only does good and Satan only does evil.

And I know that God created us as sentient beings who can choose for ourselves whether to serve the Lord or evil.

Man may think he has power to kill and make alive, like military and doctors. And Jesus can also resurrect the dead and will resurrect everyone to shame or glory as written in the bible. So I guess man can kill temporarily. The Jews thought they could kill Jesus and even some of his people. He was resurrected and also resurrected many of his people and they all appeared to many as proof.

Doctors can perhaps, if lucky, kill cancer cells. They can kill infections with penicillin. They can stitch up a wound, and God and the workings of the bodies He created can eventually heal from that. But it is God and his temple that he uses to heal his children. And some of the medications doctors can prescribe can be helpful, like blood sugar meds and other ideas. They can even replace organs with organs from people that are deceased.

I honestly think military and police can enforce laws, national, state and international. And sometimes people die when they protect people. And also sometimes they lock them up in prisons in an attempt that they don't harm people any more. And God and the Holy Spirit and His workings can affect those things for good outcomes.

We are lucky to have a God that is good, holy, truth, light, all knowing, all intelligent, all wise, all powerful. the fruits of the Holy Spirit are something I enjoy as gifts from God:

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

On March 5th, 1944, Jesus spoke to Maria Valtorta about the origin of evil. Below is an excerpt:

"...evil is a force that originated by itself like certain monstrous diseases in the most wholesome body.

Lucifer was an angel, the most beautiful of all the angels, a perfect spirit, inferior only to God, and yet in his bright essence a vapour of pride arose and he did not scatter it. On the contrary, he condensed it by brooding over it. And Evil was born of this incubation. It existed before man. God had hurled him out of Paradise, the cursed incubator of Evil, who had desecrated Paradise. But he is the eternal incubator of Evil and as he can no longer soil Paradise, he has soiled the earth." (The Gospel as Revealed to Me, or The Poem of the Man-God: Vol. I)
