As much as fundamentalist Christians talk about the antichrist, they sure do bootlick for the one person that exceeds the criteria. Their hypocrisy is further evidenced by their chants to lock up Hilary Clinton way back when she was debating Trump. Not only was it a victory for the rule of law, but prison is what awaits their Dear Leader next. No amount of prayer will bring Jesus down from the sky wearing a MAGA hat with a shotgun to save Trump from this one. Idolatry is clearly a sin in Christianity, yet his cult insists on drinking the kool-aid despite attending their churches and reading their Bibles. They say they are going to vote harder for Trump than ever before but critical thinking shows us that the level of excitement doesn't have any impact on the fact that there is only 1 vote per person at the end of the day. There's no doubt that the snowflake MAGA pastors imploding over Trump won't gleefully participate in another insurrection which is why they should all be investigated for potential domestic terrorism.

Trump is the exact opposite of Jesus's teachings no matter how many billboards comparing Trump to Jesus they want to put up. The only solution to cure the Christian community of the cancer that is Trump, is to imprison him and throw the key away. No amount of wishful thinking and praying from his evangelical base will get Trump the felon elected. Donnie is toast and a true follower of Jesus would never support such a criminal.

It appears you have the same vitriol as those you oppose.
I guess that's how the World works; someone attacks you, you attack them back; a great formula for solutions!

This is exactly the mindset of dictators when they get held accountable and it's how Trump likes to spin his lies. It's like saying that any vitriol against Hitler is the same vitriol Hitler had towards the Jews. Seriously now, how is that a rational argument?

Welcome to the forum.

Would you vote for a politician who compares favorably to Jesus? Is there any politician or political party that you currently support?

Quite a first post! I'll buckle in, and ride the storm of controversy you are about to provoke.
Oh,I don't think they're actually new , save for the new screen name.

Jesus during the crucifixion promised the thief on his right that he'd be with Jesus in paradise.

Trolls provoking Republican Christians don't know this.

Trump wasn't actually able to be tried. But Demoncrats are desperate. Which tells us how terrified they are of the work Trump shall do when re-elected. Which is why they're trying to once again insure it doesn't happen.

Whipping another because one has been whipped does not fix an issue.
It is clear that an eye for an eye eventually makes the whole world blind. Isn't that obviously rational?

So...
The Atheist OP is wanting to cause division and strife? Over Politics?
Versus unity and working together.

Why?

Both Paul and Moses were murderers. (Paul caused riots) Jacob/Israel was a conman.
Isaac was a peddler/farmer.
David was a misogynistic philanderer....Solomon wasn't much better.

The next president is going to be Whom God chooses...and He likes upsetting some little people who think they know better.

The typical response is, well, we're not voting for a saint but a president; I agree with this to a certain extent. However, Trump panders to Christians, trying to make them think he's a saint. This is despicable. But the thing I don't get is why Christians still stand behind him when it's been shown time and time again he's nothing but a liar. No one should tolerate a liar, whether they're a saint or the president.

Thus I can only assume that you will be voting for Biden. Not sure how that is a "more Christian" thing to do.

Little people, huh? Who in your opinion are the "big people"? Christ died for those you refer to as "little" just the same.

Comparing Trump to Paul or David or Moses or ....you may as well compare the "Christian" Hitler to any one of those. Trump doesn't belong in the company of Paul, David, or Moses because he publicly denied his need for Christ, and has never publicly denounced that statement. He is not a Christian any more than Hitler was.

What's sad is that so many professing Christians have been deceived by Trump to the point they become filled with hate when anyone touches their "god." He has masses of people mesmerized, just like his favorite poem which loves to quote ....he is the snake. I'm not spewing hate. I'm speaking the truth. God revealed to me the evil entity working through Trump and how many were being pulled under a spell when he spoke. God allowed me to feel it for 1 second and it was like a DRUG. This was back in 2016 when I fell asleep and a video began to play while I was asleep. I heard this voice, and within seconds, it was like I was being drugged ...lulled into a mesmerization. In a split second, as I was being pulled under, within my spirit I recognized what was happening and woke up! I looked and the voice was coming from Trump on a YT video. And God showed me right then that many would be pulled in by this spirit and they would form a cultish following around Trump. I watched it happen. And the cult grows more and more under the influence with each day. It's pretty scary, imo. Those professing Christ exchanging the truth of the gospel for a new "gospel" that requires no repentance, and no Savior. It's only fitting because Trump believes he's the savior. He has bragged that he could shoot someone in public and "his people" would still love him. What a sad truth spoken by the snake himself. Mesmerized much?

Neither of them are fit to run a nation in any godly manner. And yet, votes do not determine who sits in the WH. The Committee of 300 and the Council of 13 decides that. And who do they serve? ....the snake, the old serpent, the dragon.

I already know my opinions are unpopular... as I am in a minority of Christians who do not worship Trump.

What it is:
One of the 50 states decides that they do not like that a particular person is likely to win the next presidential election. So they get a noted liar and thief plus a prostitute to testify as witnesses against the person and lock him up for 100+ years AFTER 2 previous lawsuits aimed at making him too poor to defend himself.

And SCOTUS is not going to step in and fix things?
Only if we are a banana republic

So I assume then that you won't be voting for either, yet it seems you do complain about how the nation is run. Complain but no solution. Unfortunately, opinions don't solve many problems.

"No True Scottsman" Fallacy.

The fact is, this recent trial was unconstitutional, and those who support it's outcome show their disregard for the rule of law, or merely ignorance of the law, or what went on in that courtroom. Maybe all of the above.

The real criminal is in the White House, destroying the lives of those whom he is sworn to serve. Don't be deceived by the lies. Seek truth.

Much love!

so let me get this correct.

Those who wanted Clinton to be charged with something she is guilty of are not the problem

those who think Trump got falsly accused and convicted of a bogus crime are the problem.

ok...
