God is certainly 'in charge' but He gives Satan permissions.
Luke 4

Jesus didn't correct Satan at all. And thus we see why politicians are WICKED, thieving LIARS!

It's takes faith to believe it has happened.
Jesus defeated Satan at the cross, and his doing away happened just a little while later, in Revelation completely, ridding away of him, and casting him out of the world.

It happened with-in 40 years of JEsus promise to the generation that was perverse, and Jesus proclaimed the end would come upon them.

Alot of the way one sees the bible has to do on their own judgement.
If you believe Jesus is coming today, that is not true in the context of the scope..
if you still have hope that he is still coming anyway, that is fine but you can't fight the context and say that I am lying.

Those people who were waiting and watching in faith seen him come back already.
Now that is a scripture I can't provide, and something that pertains to faith. I can provide scriptures that pertain to them waiting and watching then in that time though, and that is something you can't fight against.
