The Ten Commandments: Exodus 20:1-17

Douay-Rheims Bible (Catholic version)

1) And God spoke all these words:
2) I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3) Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth.
4) Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth.
5) Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them: I am the Lord thy God, mighty, jealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:

all Ten Commandments are there in ex 20 but there is nothing saying which on is which
Nothing says this starts the first and this ends the first
Then this starts the second

What are you implying here??? That verse was to show that at the end of the age, all who believe in Jesus will be raised; and that includes Mary!

You need to learn how to keep verses in context. You bend many verses to fit into your preconceived ideas about Mary and that turns them into heresetical false claims!

you said she was dead!

she is alive and the reigning queen in heaven!

God alone is omniscient, omnipresent, and All Powerful. Your statement is blasphemy.

I did not say how she is all powerful!

I did not say it was cos she is God!

Mary’s prayers are all powerful not cos she is God but because her son is God!

and on becoming man He (Jesus) obeyed his own commandments

you might check out the one that says “honor Thy father and mother”

even to the time set by his got the public ministry of Christ has not come, Jesus Christ performed the miracle cos his mother interceded, thus a higher law, “honor thy father and mother” if ANYONE else asked it would NOT have been done!
John 2

and cos of her intercession the disciples believed in Him!

To a born-again Christian where the 5th commandment says..."Thou shalt not adore them," that means worship of a statue by kneeling down, praying to, kissing feet, or saying the rosaray to what is also forbidden in the 3rd commandment that says...

"3) Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,..."

That does not makes us a "fundamentalist". It makes us obedient to God's commandments.

The KJV translates Strong's: H7812 in the following manner: worship (99x), bow (31x), bow down (18x), obeisance (9x), reverence (5x), fall down (3x), themselves (2x), stoop (1x), crouch (1x), miscellaneous (3x).

χαριτόω charitóō, khar-ee-to'-o; from G5485; to grace, i.e. indue with special honor:—make accepted, be highly favoured.

Luk 1:28..."And he came to her and said, "Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!"

Strong's Number
: g3106 Greek: makarizo...Happy, Happier: "to call blessed," Luk 1:48, is rendered "we count...happy" in Jam 5:11.

Luk 1:48-50...For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.

We are all bestowed with many blessings from the Lord!

there can be no worship without intent!

My definition of Worship is not mysterious.
Worship is simply a feeling or EXPRESSION of reverence and adoration for a deity.

Scripture itself reveals an EXPRESSION OF Worshipping IS BOWING DOWN, before the thing / person / Name / that IS revered, IS adored as a deity.

Catholics claim When they bow down to a Statue of Mary, they are showing an EXPRESSION of reverence ADORATION for a deity, Mary.

The first step in that ^ case was to (exclude) the full meaning of BOWING DOWN IN WORSHIP, to bowing down in Adoration (excluding) the Deity, to simply including the Name, Mary.

YET...do not forget....
Catholics have MADE Mary, equal with Jesus......SINLESS.
THUS...the reverence and deity, IS INCLUDED, when they bow down before a statue of Mary.

Scripture is full of examples of bowing down as an EXPRESSION of WORSHIP, because of revering and adoring.....the Lord God, His NAME....or whatever one is BOWING DOWN before, or whatever NAME one is calling out.

It is a conflict...Catholic’s SAYING, they bow dow to a statue of Mary...calling out her NAME, IN Adoration.....IN an intercessory position....YET, the fact is they have already been taught and believe, Mary is SINLESS.....which is what defines a deity....and add to that...further....
They also teach and believe, Mary is the MOTHER OF GOD....further verifying, she IS a “deity”....sitting IN Heaven as “A QUEEN”....co ruler of Heaven.
Mary was NEVER Scripturally given the INTERCESSORY position...
That “position” is expressly given JESUS.
Mary was NEVER Scripturally given a QUEENS THRONE.
Mary was NEVER Scripturally given natural birth without Sin.

None of Jesus’ disciples, Apostles, taught to build Statues, bow before them, OR did such things.
* EVERY Human person, has specific things they, as individuals CAN DO, to SERVE the Lord God. Every individual has the FREEWILL to Serve the Lord God or not. Every individual SHALL BE Blessed, AND SHALL BE Rewarded for “their Service” that glorifies the Lord God.....and His NAME.
* WE have Scriptural text that expressly “identifies” NAMES, of individuals, AS EXAMPLES....of WHAT “they” freely chose.....AND the consequence/result of their choices.
* Nothing what so ever, elevated Mary. She was revealed as a FAITHFUL Servant, and to be remembered as a FAITHFUL Servant....same as every other FAITHFUL Service.

* So Bottom line.... Read the Scriptures, of what is INCLUDED and EXCLUDED in the EXPRESSION of WORSHIP. Worship is an EXPRESSION exclusively for Deities.
* IS Mary, (according to Catholics), bodily, soul, spirit, NEVER HAD SIN, sitting as a QUEEN in her own THRONE in Heaven, IS the intercessory IN Heaven? How is that NOT a deity?
And another good example is , that the angel told john twice , NOT to worship him but rather GOD ALONE
John knelt down , fell down before the angel and that angel said , OH NO ya dont , WORSHIP GOD .
I say we all take that as a real good example . Pray only TO GOD IN JESUS name .
Sure we can all agree that MARY is blessed , but let us also agree SHE MUST NOT be prayed to
nor the saints prayed too , nor any angel . PRAY only to GOD . Its blasphemous to pray to any other , than GOD .

No worship without a priest offering sacrifice also
We dont need to worship GOD through men . WE have CHRIST . WE worship GOD through and by CHRIST
by the HOLY SPIRIT that indwells us .
You just gotta cease some of these things you do teach .
We have a great HIGH PREIST above in the heavens . IT HE IS WHO makes intercession unto GOD on our behalf .
As for confessing faults , yeah we can confess and should confess our faults to one another .
But we dont need the priest or his sacrements to worship GOD .
WE already have WHOM WE NEED by WHOM we worship GOD in SPIRIT and in TRUTH .
GO YE and learn what this means and ye shall have a new heart and great hope in the LORD .

What are you talking about.....Mary’s Prayers?
Mary Prayers would be Mary praying.
How do you know what Mary prayed?

reference to the redemption accomplished by Christ not salvation

Redemption, Justification, Sanctification, and Salvation!

Redemption: 100 percent the work of God, thru the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ! All mankind are redeemed in Christ! Eph 2
Galatians 2:16 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law...
Christ alone accomplished the redemption of mankind apart from any works on our part!

(Redemption is not Salvation)
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Justification: our acceptance of redemption thru faith and baptism! Become a disciple and member of Christ and His Church! Jn 3:5 acts 2:38 Mk 16:16 He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Sanctification: the life of grace in the holy sacrifice of the mass and sacraments, prayer, virture, and good works, the just living by faith, and faith working thru love! Phil 1:29 called to suffer with Christ.
All done in Christ thru His grace! Jn 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Salvation: a christian in the state if grace at the moment of death we enter into the salvation of the Lord! Mt 24:44-47 faithful servant! Jn 15:1-5 abide in me. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Heb 4:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Rom 13:11 ...for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Suffering required for glorification with Christ!

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

Standard Roman Catholic "Salvation by works" garbage.

Oh....then who exactly DID SAY ....

Isn’t THAT YOU, who brought up Her BEING ALL POWERFUL?

I said she is all powerful but not how!!

after all Paul claims to be all powerful too!

Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I did not say how she is all powerful!

I did not say it was cos she is God!

Mary’s prayers are all powerful not cos she is God but because her son is God!

you might check out the one that says “honor Thy father and mother”

You might want to check out earthly men have a relationship with their earth father and mother, and part of the relationship is for the earthly child to honor their earthly father and mother.

Mary WAS NOT my earthly parent.
Mary IS NOT my spiritual parent.
Mary IS my spiritual sister.

People were given knowledge of Mary’s Service unto God, and a Blessing from God FOR HER Service.
If you learned that, Remember it. Maybe you will understand by a forerunner’s experience the benefit of Service one does FOR God.

Moses, Noah, Samuel, Issac, Jacob, the 12 Tribes, and others also Served God and were Blessed by God for THEIR Service.
If you learned that, Remember it. Maybe you will understand by a forerunner’s experience the benefit of Service one does FOR God.

Every person WHO does Service FOR Jesus (according to Gods WAY), becomes accounted as a “mother, brother, sister” OF JESUS....AND a “son of God”....
Praise, Worship, Bowing, Communication is between those who DO Service FOR the Lord God AND the Lord God.

Living Body’s Communicate among themselves.
The Living Saved souls and spirits communicate among themselves.
The Living Unsaved souls communicate among themselves.
