You started talking about being Born Again and what it means, then I started discussing that with you, it’s off topic, if you want to discuss being Born Again by the Living Holy Spirit, then go onto another thread that discusses it..not on this thread any further thanks.

To be "born again "means to become like a child (Matt.18:3), whereas "born of the Spirit" means to receive within our soul the nature of God: love (1 Jn. 4:7-13, Gal. 5:22), and neither means that one will become immune to the temptation of evil.

Here we go, you started the discussion about being Born Again....then I got involved also with this....it’s not about being Born Again and what you think it means...therefore please including me stick to the topic.

There are plenty of places on this board where you can discuss what it means to be Born Of The Spirit...

Start your own subject on it if you like...you may then be able to answer all of the questions I asked you.on that subject.

To me watching the pope being driven around in an open top car. etc, waving to the public, what is that if he isn’t being revered by some of the general public?

Why is he being driven around, then the crowds gathering?

Then they also kiss his hands even his feet I’ve heard, who do they think he is.....” GOD”.?

Why do they kiss his hands?

Why do some people take pictures of them kissing his hand, then frame it, my friend had one such picture of her mother doing just that?

The Popemobileis the name given to the specially-equipped vehicles used to transport the Pope at various public appearances. The vehicles are designed to protect the Pope while allowing him to be visible to the crowds.

I have edited being Born Of The Spirit out of my OP.

Why because you explained in your own opinion what Born Of The Spirit meant, it was unscriptural...therefore we were going away from, why Do Catholic’s worship the Pope.

There will be some 12 selected men, both priests and the lay people, and the bishop or priest will wash and kiss the feet of those 12 men. It is not merely a dramatization of the past event. Further it is a prayer where the whole congregation prays to wash and cleanse them of their sins.

The Catechism says that “only Godforgives sin” (1441). As Catholics, we believe that God does this through the means of a priest, in the person of Christ, in the Confessional. In complete privacy, we state our sins, and are given absolution.

Does Gods written word say that...God forgives sins through a priest?
